Gamblers, rich tourists, war profiteers. Cantonica was the perfect place to find a bounty or two, maybe even get one yourself. The issue with Canto Bight was that police were everywhere, and the Corporate Sector Authority not far away. It was very easy to go to collect a bounty, and catch one yourself in these parts. That would stop Kryze from collecting, though. They were a tenacious bunch, and if there was a bounty to be collected they would make sure to collect it.
Miri sat in her warm grey armor, sans the helmet, in the lounge of the ship. They had already landed the spaceport, but had decided to prepare in the relative privacy of the ship. A Bounty Hunters Guild puck was in the center of the table between her and Jace. The blue, holo-image of a male Twi'lek spun, displaying the name Niko Losseris. He was pudgey, and draped in fine silks and precious metal jewelry. Miri's distaste for the man didn't show through her apathetic stare. The bounty for returning him cold was a decent sum, but it was almost double if they brought him in warm.
Niko was an arms merchant that had a severe addiction to gambling. According to the bounty, Niko had bet several shipments of weapons to a particularly wealthy individual. When he lost and had to pay up, the crates he left were empty, and Niko had already skipped out on the sector. Every time they had tried to get to Niko on Cantonica, they were always stopped by some level of authority. Thankfully, Mandalorians were resourceful. They had some clothes to blend in with the crowds, or they could simply wear their armor. Though she'd feel naked without armor, Miri was leaning toward blending in, and concealing her blaster.
<<"Three places he'd be: races, casino, or his beach-front property,">> Miri said in Mando'a; even on the ship there was no telling if someone could be listening in. Her red gaze turned to Jace. <<"You're the people hunter. What's your call?">>
