I need help...yes on a website full of strangers.

So today my "shop" was given an ultimatum, we can either be pensioned out of the Navy due to projected loss of work for the JAG Corps; or we can change careers. So, since they are willing to give my entire shop a choice in career options I am willing to have you guys help me decide. Oh yeah, Honorable's ass is going with me, I'm dragging him along for the ride.

So pick your choice or if you selected other, give me some ideas here.

Pilot or Logistics.

Both would be good on a resume once your Navy career is over, assuming you go private sector once you're done with the Navy.

yeah but both honorable and I both tried BUD/S once and I know we can finish this time. Huge decision to make:
1. we graduated from law school magna cum luade
2. everybody will hire a former naval officer
3. i don't want my career to be lame and end up homeless.
4. I love the Navy
5. I'm not very good at decisions.

I read the thread with all the comments before voting, and if you really like being in the Navy, SEAL is still with them, right? (I'm not militarily informed at all. I live under a rock. I don't know what sub-groups fit into which branch). If that's one of your options, I say choose what you love.

well we (counselor and I) made it through hell week and I got a cold or something and infected like the entire class. Lol, so when we left there were only about eleven left. But yeah I know I can finish it now.

EDIT: here's the thing about changing careers as an officer. A Lieutenant in the JAG Corps has the same amount of training as a brand new Ensign (two paygrades down) and it just doesn't work out.

so my request got denied due to political reasons, so I'm going to IA with a certain MP battalion from TX.

dunno yet, they said they are trying to get me in an MP battalion or a security regiment that will be working Area Security in kandahar
