And all it's missing is YOU! Yes, you!
Well... maybe not you specifically, person who took a look but decided you weren't interested in reading past this rant. But to you, person who read past the first sentence, thanks for sticking around.
Now I bet you're asking yourself: "what's this stupid plan you have rattling around your silly head, Gam?"
Well, the tl;dr (because we all want that, right?) goes a little something like this.
I have this here noble brat of mine, and she's on super great terms with her family (read: sarcasm). She's one of them there Forcey types, which (given Serenno's crazy anti-Force laws) has made life particularly difficult for her. Long story short, dear ol' dad has kicked the bucket (or will anyhow) and her mother has conspired to remove her daughter as political competition by having her shipped off to the Jedi.
But wait, there's more!
In my typically convoluted way of approaching such things, the plan does not go according to plan. Poor Larkin finds herself in the custody of the Jedi, but then... Exiles and/or the Cartel manage to intercept her in transit. A fight breaks out, stuff happens, glowsticks go vwoom, lasers go pew pew, the Force goes... Force. So does that mean PvP? Not really. There will be a fight, but no one is getting hacked up or 'sploded in this here shindig. I mean, unless you really want to. Go ahead. Larkin will be wearing PLOT ARMOR though (do I need a Tech write up for that? Nah... it's gentech for sure).
"So what kind of characters are you looking for?" You ask.
Answer: all of the above!
The goal here is to separate Larkin from the life she's accustomed to, and trying to build her up from that point towards her ultimate goal. Whether she winds up with the Exiles, Cartel, Jedi, or as the +1 to a random Indie who found themselves in the middle of all this is the one open part in this whole thing. It'll be up to me to adapt her character to whatever outcome is realized. Because that should be super fun.
And that's pretty much it. I probably left some important bits out, but in my defense, my brain has frozen because NY is now the Arctic circle and I'm looking at heading to my vacation home on Hoth just to find a little warmth.
If you are interested in helping, or have any questions, feel free to post here.
