"Gemma, I am afraid you will have to stop having your fun for a moment. A new mission has come in."
From behind a pile of mechanical guts Gemma's head peeked out, slightly disheveled. With a stretch and a yawn, Gemma pushed aside a rather large metallic case. Several wires, screens, padding and other random components scattered the table around where Gemma was clearly working. The excitement in her eyes was reminiscent of a young child at a candy shop. She picked up a grouping of wires and pushed it deep inside the metallic case and fastened it with a multi-tool.
"Gemma, the Cartel has given you another mission."
Gemma's hands deftly moved over to another component, some wires were moved in first, and then the component. Another hurried buzzing sound chirped as the mutli-tool roared to life. Gemma turned the metallic table around even though the droid wouldn't physically be able to see what she was trying to show it.
"Good, I am done tinkering with this new toy of ours. Can't believe they just gave this to me. I managed to setup that Unitech Industries Diagnostic kit as a station for us to slice at. Instead of all those scanners for droids and ship, I installed a better Holo-net encryption than you have as well as another droid brain. Not as indepth as yours and no A.I yet, but it will catch up. I am calling it Matrix."
"Sounds good, you should respond to this mission."
With a deflating huff of a schoolchild, Gemma stalked over to the central hub where Glitch had been placed. She dropped herself into the cockpit seat of the Dust Runner and loaded the briefing. It didn't take long to read and didn't seem to be too difficult. She did notice other names on the posting. Arok was the first name on the list and then there was a Jaz Corban was to be working on this mission as well; she hadn't worked with this person yet, so she hoped he was cute. It didn't matter too much, but it would be a new contact either way.
"Glitch, send Arok and this Jazz a message with our docking information. Tell them they can meet me here."
