Well ever since the early days of this timeline I have been thinking about planning and Alliance between the Empire/Chiss and the Hutts. I actually received the go ahead to do so from Melon (who was the Empire leader back then) and was going to go on with it, but unfortunately nothing got done about it since people went inactive.

Of course what I am saying is that we will not just stumble into Hutt space and force them to sign a treaty with them....Actually it might be a good idea if we allied ourselves with Vonlin indie faction. After all, his character is a Hutt and is the head of his clan and leads a carter so I am sure that allying with him would give us some power in Hutt space which has a strategic location that we could later use to strike against the Jedi. Of course this alliance will be helpful for the Hutts since they will be needing the protection of the Chiss/Empire and it would help them along in their line of business if they had a powerful ally like us.

So what do you guys think?

Right now, Hutt Space is reserved by the staff for a potential future Hutt faction should we ever need it. So, Hutt space is basically off limits for alliances/conquering at this point.

I've been wondering. On the map, there's two other areas unclaimed too: Centrality and Bothan Space. Is that the same as this or are they claimable?

Well this certainly suck, but also I have a feeling that there was going to be a Hutt main faction sometimes soon since we will probably be needing it. However; I assume it would still be fine if we allied ourselves with independent Hutt factions like Vonlin's factions for example right?

You could go for the Centrality. The Bothans, though, certainly wouldn't side with the Chiss, or the Empire for that matter. Given their participation in the Rebel Alliance, the New Republic, etc., they'd more than likely be allied with the Alliance.

Remember, though, alliances have to be RPd, and the person who RPs the Centrality has to legitimately RP it. It can't just be them going through the motions for you.

Yes, independent factions are fine.

Okay. I have a cult in the Centrality. I guess I can try to use it to take over the Centrality government, but all that will require a lot of RPs.

Well then I assume that an Alliance with the Hutts independent factions would be a good way to increase our popularity with the other Hutts so we would have an advantage of winning them on our sides once the admins do something about them.

Also an Alliance with the Centrality atm might be a good idea, I whole heartily support it and would gladly participate in it if needed.

If you all are interested in finally getting the Alliance/Jedi and the Chiss at war with one another, trying to get the Centrality on your side might be a good avenue for that. Obviously I'm not FL anymore so I can't speak to the Jedi's reaction, but I would imagine they wouldn't take too kindly to the Empire's strongest ally trying to get a foothold in Alliance space.

The Chiss Ascendancy will maintain its sense of 'neutrality' at this time. When the faction is back up on its feet, I'll open this discussion among the chosen assistants and allied leaders, but for the time being, their only public enemies are the Mandalorians and remnants of the Imperial Knights.

If resources are pumped into the Skeith Centrality, my cult, by Chiss and/or Empire, then Chiss and/or Empire involvement is hidden and rather will only seem like a cult took over the Centrality. There's only so many wars the Jedi can fight, and it seems unlikely the Jedi would be eager to try to war with someone whose yet to strike at them just because there's a power struggle in a region of space not under their jurisdiction.

However, if Zach (and Xeno) do not wish for this to happen, or at least yet, I shall respect their wills.
