Hutt Family on Nar Shaddaa (Looking for a player to RP with)

I'm looking to make an introductory thread and I'm in need of assistance on a few things.
1) Who is the major hutt crime lord on Nar Shaddaa
2) Someone willing to become a close friend of Gaar's after a cantina scuffle.

Heya! I'd throw this guy in for best friend adventures (Volken Sandanar) He is a pretty honourable guy, Force sensitive Paladin. Even if he isn't what you are looking for in terms of your plan, I would still like to do a thread with you, Wookies are awesome.

I do not believe there isn't a "Major" hutt crimelord to the best of my knowledge, I could be wrong, at least not one played by someone, I'm sure you could just say, "And a couple of thugs from the Hutt cartel entered the Bar." If you wanted to have an actual criminal organisation led by players I'd direct your attention to the Shadow Syndicate.

Please be aware that there's somewhat of a [surl=http://www.thestarwarsrp.com/forum/index.php?threads/proletariat-bounty-board.75217/#post-1374656]war declared on one of the Hutt families (Desilijic)[/surl] and the others are currently in a shaky alliance with the Jedi Army (due to the Jedi owning Nal Hutta).

Unfortunately my characters don't speak Wookiee, otherwise I'd have volunteered.

Thanks @Dawnrider @Ecclessey @Redmerc I was going for him being forced into serving a debt of sorts with this Hutt for killing some of his men, he'll be serving in gladiatorial displays as repayment and his last fight he wins and this Hutt sends his men to recapture/ try and reenslave him much the same way he first fell into his service as he doesnt have a ship. Then PC steps in whilst seeing the confrontation...

@Gaarbecca, just to throw my two cents in. There is a crime "crack down" of sorts being executed by the Jedi. It is a tenuous alliance with the Hutts but, for now, the Jedi Order and the Hutts are oriented towards a similar goal.

And since the Jedi are doing a crack down on crime, and my Jedi is a little debaucherous, it would make sense for him to be in some random dive bar on Nar Shaadaa. I'd happily have Kyber swoop in, if you're fine with a Jedi saving the day.

My Hutt currently is the biggest crime lord as of Norbs disappearance.

Head of the Desilijic clan. He's basically the only crimelord Hutt that is an actual character.

The NPC Hutts, the Hutt Council is ruled by a member from each ruling family, something like 5 or so members seems to be common. The Desilijic clan is kinda at odds with the Jedi since the whole crack down thing. How your character reacts to it personally is up to you, but the Jedi received control of Nal Hutta weeks ago.

Also, the Hutts aren't the ones cracking down on crime, it's the Jedi. Since Nal Hutta and Nar Shaddaa fall under Jedi territory, Valen gets to decide.​

It's not so much the Hutts who are asking the Jedi to put a stop to crime, it's the Jedi taking initiative and stopping crimes on a local level. Part of the Jedi's (admittedly shaky) alliance with the Hutts gives them a bit of free reign in Hutt Space. So the Jedi are taking the chance to resume their roles as protectors. Not necessarily because the Hutts asked them to, but more because they finally have access to their worlds.

Jedi do missions to forge an alliance with the Hutts.

Hutts don't want to be conquered by the Sith.

Alliance formed.

Nal Hutta becomes a Jedi Story planet.

Jedi (not Hutts) begin to crack down on crime.

Right yea okay whatever. I didn't make my Hutt for all the faction war junk (the exact opposite actually) but you can't sit here and say all this crap that the Desilijics say when my Hutt is head of the Desilijics.

The crime world was a perfect place for indie characters to thrive but as usual hungry factions have to come and swallow it up for no strategic purpose at all other than "Oh look, my blob is bigger than yours!" quite childish and stupid really.
