Artyom was pacing along the deck of the Crusader MK VI. The ships Captain had been unaware of the Hutts objective until a few hours ago and was most displeased. The Crusader and it's accompanying squadrons of Dunelizzards were to be a distraction, Artyom and two other well recommended Hutt Agents had been "convinced" to join the mission and came highly recommended. It would be a just under a half hour before their target, the Geonosian cruiser would drop out of hyperspace along this route. Artyom had been surprised to hear that the Geonosians were not in fact transporting one of their own but a small group of Rodians and a Selkath. Someone was paying well for their protection to get the Geonosians to run the protection against the Cartel. He was musing on the actual battle plan and asked the Captain to send Guy Anderson and Yuri Sharp to meet him in the Crusaders small cargo loading bay. They would run over the plan in relative privacy.

Still though it was a risk, the Geonosian cruiser was not well armed but it could out last the Crusader ship the Hutts had assigned to the mission. Still though objective was not the cruiser but the targets on the actual ship. Boarding it without being blasted into space dust was the real issue but he moved such concerns aside for now. As he made his way down to the hanger the Cartel crew he noticed were largely an eclectic mix of species; he assumed a few were Mandalorian and the ones in the heavier armour would be the other boarding party.

All a big game to the Hutts, how many credits could you expand for the reward? In this case the ship was well equipped and it's crew were decent enough, no expense had been spared in that regard but he had raised concerns about a small frigate taking on a cruiser only to be told that he should get the job done and come for his reward. This was important to the Hutts but not so important they would not throw one of their battleships at it? Strange, one of their agents must have leaked the flight plan of the Geonosian cruiser and that's how they knew to wait in ambush here.

The main hanger door opened and entered what he assumed would be his companions for this mission... they were shorter than he had been lead to expect but no matter. He had already sent them basics of the Op, board the ship kill the witnesses and get out. Simple enough really.

"Greetings gentleman. Let's get down to business."

Thankfully the Cartel had sent transports to pick up their assigned Agents. It would have been harder for him to get to the main ship they would be using for the mission if he had to find a way himself. He could have easily take a Cartel sanctioned ship, though this was much easier.

Aboard the Crusader, Guy awaited Yuri, and the other Agent who had been assigned to the mission. He had known Yuri for some time since the Retrade days, though he wasnt sure about working with another. Usually a loner and taking missions by himself, he was contacted by the Champios himself to come with him on this one. This other Agent was said to be something of a prodigy, time would tell.

The chamber they would meet in had an activated ventilation system that Guy had turned on when he entered. The cigarette he was smoking played to cool his nerves, though the toxins that entered his lungs would be dispelled by his cybernetic enhancements. The smoke wafted into the vents that were making a constant noise, though it wasnt too overbearing. Guy was leaning against the wall on the far side of the room waiting for the other two to sow up so they can talk about their plans for the mission.

As Artyom walked in, Guy blew out a puff of smoke.

"Ahh, Artyom is it?..." Guy did all of his research on fellow members he would be doing missions with. "The names Guy Anderson. It's a pleasure." Guy was just a front however, his secret name was one none other in the Cartel had known. This name would provide him the identity he would need, and even became, to flourish in the Cartel as it had in the Retrade.

The final man to arrive was Yuri. Trying to waste as little time as he could the man handled his other obligations while in his power armor. Even though he would have liked to completely focus on the task at hand it was difficult for someone in his position. But for the most part he handled it and knew how to multitask.

Once he saw the time, and realized it was time to meet his colleagues. the heavily armed man left the small armory and made his way towards the bridge. It was near there that he'd once again see Anderson, and also meet this new addition to the Cartel ranks. And boy did the new guy live up to his reputation. This guy was huge! A bit too huge if you asked Yuri, but that was just his opinion.

Entering the chamber it wasn't difficult to adjust to the new setting or the team, though the team work was still a bit of an unknown, especially considering that Yuri and Guy knew each other for well over a decade now. "Yeah guess it's time to get serious."

Looking at Guy it wasn't difficult to figure out that Yuri and "Tiny" over there would be the ones at the front while Guy would be their back-up. Still though seeing Artyom try and take charge of the situation Yuri was curious to see how the big guy would like to do this, so he went quiet and listened. Of course if he had any objections he wouldn't hesitate to share them with the team as they still had enough time to prepare for this...

"It is, sharp outfit - my reputation proceeds me I take it?"

This was something Artyom was rather accustomed to his reputation precedding him. After all you didn't just decide one day to be called a butcher of men. Still though it was pleasing affirdinimg, this Guy Anderson seemed the sort of more traditional type the Cartel would employ slick and stylish. No wonder everyone always seemed to have some sort of suit on at the higher end of the Cartel.

"You know the frakking banthas were after then? Won't be long till they pull up." He paused and took in the cargo bay for a moment, a large transport was held precariosuly in the bay he had never seen the type before but it must be what they were going to use to board the vessel. "That yours?"

"Not mine, but I guess it's the one we're using." Anderson knew that the target was heading right for them, andif they missed their chance he would spill what he had on the Cartel to any and every one who paid him. This could not happen, all of their lives were at stake, despite most of Andersons ventures being under wraps from the Retrade days. The Cartel spared no expense.

The Epicanthix walked over to the viewport that overlooked the cargo bay, and the ship they would be using.

"I'll pilot the thing...let's get moving." He said before turning and walking for the exit. The gunship they were in would serve as a natural road block, it would give them enough time to figure out how to disable the shop so that they could board it. Once that was done, the rest would be easy enough.

"So any thoughts on how we could immobilize this sucker? Suppose we could go the obvious way and hit it with some ion blasts."

Looking at the duo Yuri smirked, feeling confident that once they were on board they would work together and get this done. He knew he could count on Anderson, who was a proven man, but this new guy. He wasn't sure about him, though there was hardly any backing out now. With his helmet in hand Yuri heard Guy claim the pilot seat and he smirked. "Let's get going then, that's my ship by the way. The Copperhead."

The Copperhead was before them, Yuri's personal little assault shuttle, and a ship that Yuri was confident could get them inside , from there it would up to them. So with his rifle attached to his back and helmet in hand the man walked inside with the other two where they had some room for their final preparations...

Because minutes later they were in open space, awaiting the arrival of their much larger prey. Just in case Yuri assumed the position of the gunner and made sure he watched out for any unexpected visitors. What they were doing here would seem like a pirate ambush, nothing that could be traced back to the Hutts, and above all else their position was perfect as the ship would drop out of hyperspace just some several hundred meters bellow them. Hopefully.
