DESCRIPTION
Somewhere in the depraved minds of the Ubrikkian labs, a young scientist came up with the genius idea that the galaxy needed a combat walker for the Hutts to use. Based on an ancient design, the Hutt Combat Walker (HCW) features six giant legs and an enclosed podium driving 'pod' resting atop them. Cased in dura-steel and protected by a deflector shield, the HCW is a mobile weapons platform. It can fire its wide selection of ranged weapons from within the shield, but the shield must be deactivated to use its drill legs in close combat. Why? That's because that wasn't something the scientists thought about when they made the walker.
Aside from this, the walker contains storage for food, and a hookah pipe, so the discerning Hutt can observe its carnage from afar. Should the Hutt feel like it, they can even slave the controls to the inbuilt droid brain, enabling it to carry out basic functions itself, walking around, allowing the Hutt to lord it over its 'staff' without having to bother doing anything else.
LEGALITY
Illegal. Combat walkers are highly restricted under interstellar law, with personal ownership being banned. They may only be legally operated by large factions and are made to order for the Hutt Cartel.INTENT
To bring that walker we see in SWTOR to the forums and to enable Hutt characters to do the important work of blowing stuff up more directly.RESTRICTIONS
This vehicle are made to order for Hutts, so it would need to be stolen to be used by a non-Hutt. A Hutt would need to be at least rank two to be able to garner the influence to order one for themselves.
