[Hutt Bounty] Testing the Crew

Vandis immediately say upright at full attention, activating the tractor beam systems and targeting the ship.
"Waiting on Ion blasts, ship is in range but steadily moving away. Tractor system is online and ready, and the target is locked; for now, that is."

Triton was ready when the captain gave him the order, and began to fire on the small ship, missing the first 2 shots but he was able to make 3 clean hits. Triton smiled but didn't celebrate yet.

"Vandis, your up." Triton yelled hoping he had hit the ship enough for the next task

The imperial shuttle slowed down for just long enough for Vandis to fire the tractor beam and grab them; it was close, though. As it slowly started getting pulled into their ship, Vandis said, "Try to hit them harder next time, Triton. That was too close, they could've gotten away!"

Triton looked at Vandis with very badly hidden annoyance, he was frustrated with Vandis yet trying his best to work with the man.

"Matters little now yets go and fight some imperials." Triton got up and waited for the rest to get moving also.

"I know, I know, I just don't wanna mess up. Sorry if I offended you, just...stressed"
After that, Vandis sighed and grabbed his rifle, heading towards the door to go "greet" their prisoners.

Triton was actually happy that Vandis apologized and now felt like he should apologize also to make sure there was no hard feelings between the two, since Vandis was Triton's comrade on this ship.

"I should apologize also, so lets take out some of that stress on the Imperials." Triton sent a warm, friendly smile to Vandis hoping to show that there was no hard feelings and he actually wanted to befriend the man.

Vandis also smiled, but that was concealed by his helmet. He also laughed warmly at Triton's comment on attacking the imperials.
"Aye. Lets show them what happens when they mess with us."

The attack was short. Coryn kept them on a good path and Triton and Vandis worked quickly to disable the vessel and pull them in. Vandis had them docked and Coryn was ready to jump into hyperspace when the other two men jumped up and started talking about killing imperials. Coryn considered taking the inertial dampeners to teach them to pay attention to the plan more closely next time. Instead Coryn simply pushed the hyperspace lever forward as they made the long jump toward Zonju V. They would be in hyper for days and the computer would make pre-calculated jumps that should throw any Erudian observers off their tail. With the ship in hyperspace, Coryn spent the next minute undoing the crash webbing.

Finally free from his seat, Coryn charged off toward the hanger bay and made sure to grab his REC-74 rifle on the way.

“Come on guys! THIS is why we have meetings.” Coryn said pointedly to Vandis. “We're supposed to make the jump to lightspeed, and then start the assault.”

Coryn wasn’t really upset. He wasn’t pleased for sure but it wasn’t something he’d even remember in the morning. As they reached the hanger bay he kept his eye on the far docking port where the T-4 was docked. As soon as Coryn opened the blast doors they could surely expect to be fired upon. He took a deep breath and steadied himself. He took a moment to look at the other two men.

“Gunna open the doors now. Get ready for anything.” Coryn said as he rested his hand over the door controls. He waited for confirmation from the other two men and as soon as they were ready he pushed the button. The doors slid apart and one hundred feet away blaster bolts started whizzing towards the three men.

Triton followed the captain, though the captain had yelled at them, which made Trition feel bad, but he had to shake it off since they were in front of the door. When the captain opened the door, triton took only half a second to dash towards the side of the door where he wouldn't be hit. luckily his quick look told him there wasn't any sith looked to be about 15 imperial soldiers all together, an as far away as possible.

"Captain, Vandis give me covering fire." Triton used the force to strength his body and after the initial wave of bolts, ran at full speed towards the storm troopers, with his increase speed and senses he was barely able to dodge the bolts coming at him.

Triton as he ran towards the stormtroopers throw his staff with all the power in his body and with the force, he nearly impaled the unlucky storm trooper that was hit. He was almost half way their hoping that his new comrades would give him some covering fire so he could make it the rest of the way.

"Yeah captain, because it was so Kriffing important that we be there for you to press a button. My apologies, your highness." Vandis was only half listening to him the rest of the way to the door. He didn't care what he had to say after that; they got up a couple minutes before he gave the okay, big deal. When the captain asked if they were ready, Vandis lazily waved his hand before gripping his rifle. As the door opened, Triton ran towards the troopers, getting in Vandis' line of fire.
"Triton, get the kriff out of the way!" With Triton right in front of Vandis, he was afraid of accidentally hitting his comrade if he fired.

"Captain, Vandis give me covering fire." Triton yelled as he charged forward. Coryn shot off a few shots into the doorway while yelling out “NO!” in an attempt to stop Triton. It didn’t matter though, Triton was already well into the ship by now.

“And this is reason two for the meeting. I specifically recall telling him NOT to do that.” Coryn said. Now he was angry. There were only two options. Either he shot into the T-4 and risked killing Triton, or he held his fire and waited for Triton to either kill the Imperials or be killed, at which point Coryn and Vandis would forfeit their choke point and the imperials would storm through and take the ship. Coryn wasn’t about to let them take his ship.

“I don’t firefeking care about this Jedi. Shoot into the hole, if he dies with them, he dies with them.” Coryn shouted over the rain of blaster bolts to Vandis. Coryn kept his head low and rained fire down into the Imperials. It was then that he realized the auto turret system wasn’t firing. Coryn didn’t know why and made a mental note to read the instructions on how to operate the blasted things later. For now it was just him, his blasters and Vandis.

Triton had finally made it to the imperial which had spread out three storm troopers were going after him while the others were attacking his comrades at the door. The three had surrounded him giving him little chance to escape they all fired but Triton used the force to leap over one of the storm troopers which was facing the door where the captain and Vandis were shooting from.

Grabbing the man in a choke hold with his left hand, triton used his right hand to grab the imperials rifle and shot at the other two troopers killing one while the other one tried hitting Triton but ended up killing his own ally.

Triton throw the body at the last storm trooper attacking him, the trooper caught the dead body but wasn't able to stop Triton from kicking the troopers head. With the force aiding him it would be strong enough to knock the storm trooper out long enough for them to finish this fight. But now triton was tired and had used a lot of his energy to knock out the four soldiers yet there was still more to be fought.

"Yea sorry captain fighting like this is the only thing I'm good at." Though it could be taken the wrong way, but he truly meant that his strengths rely on his physical prowess and abilities.

Triton decided to grab one of the dead storm troopers body and use it as a human shield to protect him from being shot at.

"Yea sorry captain fighting like this is the only thing I'm good at." Coryn’s eyes were wild with anger. He didn’t give a flying mynock what Triton’s best attributes were. It was the people who didn’t follow orders who ended up sinking empires. Right now Triton was putting himself at risk by jumping into the line of fire. If Triton didn’t really put a dent into the force on the ship then they’d all pile out and Coryn would be extremely outnumbered.

“You tellin’ me that you can’t pick up a blaster, point it, and pull a trigger?” Coryn growled. As he fired into the T-4 he heard three people cry out in pain. He hoped they had died and weren’t simply injured and going to get the jump on him. He depleted one of his cells and replaced the magazine. He fired several more shots and heard a satisfying yelp from inside the T-4. “How many more?”

Triton could tell the captain was anger, an was sure he was going to hear about it later. Triton hear four more soldiers dying, and knew that it mean only seven was left, thinking it was time to push the soldiers, Triton started to move closer to a small group of them, it had about three which means once he was finished with them, there would only be 4 left. Triton let go of the body and used the force to speed him up, making him a blur to anyone seeing him, the three troopers had time to face him, but two of those troopers could only do that. Triton increased his body's natural strength and punctured two of the troopers necks, though Triton didn't like it, he had little choice, Makuai are trained to be tools and weapons of the lightside, though they try to not kill Triton had never had a problem with it, as he just demonstrated.

The third trooper fired off two bolts at Triton who barely moved out of the way, only thanks to the force speeding his body allowed him to dodge it, than Triton sent a powerful strike at the troopers helmet, sending him back, and when the troopers head hit the wall, Triton sent another strike, making sure the trooper wouldn't get up again. Triton grabbed the fallen soldiers blaster, and aimed it at the remaining soldiers. Though Triton's aim was terrible the combined attack from the three members of the crew should be able to finish off the remaining stragglers, Triton was on one knee and would jump out of the way if the troopers began to fire at him, though Triton hoped it wouldn't come to that.

Coryn, although he didn’t like that Triton had disobeyed orders, had to hand it to Triton. He was making quick work of the soldiers. He was a valuable asset even if he was a lone wolf. If Triton and Coryn could learn to work together, meaning if Coryn learned to plan to use Triton’s strengths and Triton learned to follow those orders, they would make a formidable team.

Coryn couldn’t tell everything that was going on inside the vessel but after a few more moments of fighting there was a sound of metal hitting metal. Coryn smiled confidently and strode over to the T-4’s docking station. It was the sound of surrender. As Coryn entered the T-4 he saw the grizzly scene before him. There were several men Triton had killed with all manner of injuries and a few that Coryn had managed to kill, smoke rose from the charred holes in the bodies. Coryn turned to face the four men who had surrendered. They wore the military uniform of the Imperial Armed Forces. Coryn didn’t know the militaries codes and couldn’t recognize the patches. The one with the most patches and biggest patches began to talk.

“As Imperial soldiers we request due quarter an-“ Coryn shot him, and then shot the remaining three men.

“Whoops. Finger slipped.” He said with a sideways smile to Triton. “Whelp. Le’s go search the prison cabin for Eddie an' set him free. Git him some chow and see if we can’t send him on his way once we land on Zonju.”

Triton didn't like how the captain had just killed the imperium soldiers especially since they were surrounding, yet Triton wouldn't try to fight the captain not now at least. Triton walked with the captain to the prison cabin to look for the prisoner.

"You didn't have to kill them." Triton said simply.

"So what are we going to do with the Imperium ship?" Triton asked hoping to know what the plan was.

Coryn looked surprised at Triton. “Course we had to kill ‘em. We don’t kill ‘em and they’ll find a way to escape. And then we’ll have the whole Empire on our backs. This way it’s harder for the Empire to track us and we should get away clean.”

As they continued to talk the short distance to the prisoner hold Triton asked another question. Coryn assumed the T-4 had been retrofitted from its cargo vessel to a transport. If that were the case, the prisoner hold would be in the cargo bay. “When we get to Zonju we’ll try and sell ‘er. Get even more creds than we would have from just the bounty. We’ll be livin’ rich…fer a few weeks a’ least.”

Coryn found the prisoner bay and stopped short at the control pad. After a few hits with the butt of his blaster it fell off the wall and exposed the wiring behind it. It took several minute for Coryn to trace the wires. He’d never had to deal with this mark of control pad before but was familiar enough with wiring that he could trace out the wires and ‘hot wire’ the door open.

The door slid open when Coryn finally found the right combination of color wires and a man came charging out at him, knocking him across the hallway and into the wall. Coryn brought his arms up defensively but the second blow never came.

“Coryn?! Coryn Tyre?! Now what the hell are you doing here?” Eddie asked, elated that he was not in danger anymore.

“Saving your backside! Eddie this is Triton. He took out most of the guards.” Coryn said smiling at his friend as he introduced Eddie to his crew mate. “We’ll get you back to Hutt space soon. There’s a bounty for your return and we could use the creds.”

Triton followed behind the captain, though he didn't like the fact he just killed defenseless man, he had a point. The two walked towards where the captains friend was held captive, though he didn't care about the credits he would take what he could get and maybe give them to the order when he could. Triton knew his order needed them and wanted to do his best for the order, Triton stared at the captain as he messed with some wires. Which seemed to open the door, Triton would have just broken the door down but that might have been dangerous.

Then the man came charging through and smacking the captain to the wall, though Triton was caught off guard he was already sending a swift punch to the man's spine, yet when he cried out the captain's name Triton stopped just before breaking the mans back. Than the two began to talk which reinsured Triton that the man was the one they had come to save. Speaking to his captain Triton smiled glad to see their mission was completed.

"Well looks like we did it captain." Triton said glad to see that this distasteful business had ended.
