So it's going to go directly over Norfolk, where I'm supposed to be exactly on Saturday. I wonder what my CO will think, maybe I should've left sooner. Anyone else worried about Irene?

It's supposedly going to be hitting where I am in Pennsylvania. I really don't mind, God will provide and we could miss the first day of school!

Due to Hurricane Irene:

1) I can't move into the University of Delaware this weekend; the move-in day has been postponed "until further notice."

2) The Philadelphia Union game against New England has been postponed.

:CStern

At least I'll be able to watch my European team (Liverpool FC) play.

I remember last year getting a day off of school because of hurricane Isabel back in 03. It was kinda disappointing, no 50 mph winds whipping around.

There is a 'tropical storm' warning here, but apparently if the hurricane shifts upwards twenty-five miles we'll be within the critical radius.

This is when I'm glad I live in the desert. No hurricanes here. Only heatstroke.

So, apparently this Hurricane (where I'm at) is supposed to hit A.C, Stone Harbor, and Cape May. Now, currently, where I be is Wildwood. Which, if I'm correct (which I am not 97% of the time), that's in the middle of those three places.

I just got down here for a nice vacation before school starts. Literally, this afternoon. I really, really hate karma.

If karma made a hurricane especially just to ruin your day then you must have done some really bad ****.

Relax, people. Obama put a new man in charge of FEMA, as long as you have insurance you'll get your money back......
....

Unless Murica is broke. Oh right... our credit rating dropped. Time for ya'll to panic.

*edit* Also, coastal states tend to have the strongest political EMA's and are the likeliest to get compensation for disasters, and the president issues a lot of PDD's a year.
