Listening to the distinctly different voice that flooded his head, Kai couldn't help but smile to himself and think, She has such a pretty voice. Then he realized, somewhat embarrassingly, that she could probably read that thought if she was using telepathy. He didn't normally lose focus during telepathic conversations, but it happened this time, even though he wasn't exactly sure why. With somewhat rosey cheeks he nodded back at Asheek. "I'll take care of the guard. Unfortunately, I don't think your feminine wiles will work on these guards... they don't exactly seem to be interested in your type."

With a bit of a smile, Kai started to draw on the Force so he could use it as necessary. Looking back to Asheek he continued, "Time to practice your mind trick. Start with asking for a drink, and tell him to get out gear while he's at it. In the meantime I'm going to work on our cover. So get working!"

With that, Kai started to reach out with the Force and began to affect the swamp waters around them. Heating them up just enough to produce a thick fog which would fill the area and reduce visibility. Kai had never done something like this before so it would take time, and a lot more energy and focus to attempt, but Kai wasn't a Councilor for nothing!

Asheek continued to think of various plans, until she faintly heard something she wasn't expecting.

She has such a pretty voice.

It seemed quiet, as if it wasn't directed at her. If her face wasn't naturally red, it would be quite obvious that she was blushing. Clearing her throat as she stood up, she walked over to the edge of the cage, reaching her mind out to the gungan instead, subtly, getting ready to attempt her first trick. They would have their guard up, he wouldn't be quite open to much influence at first. "Excuse me." She spoke up, her voice at a low volume, sounding more concerned than anything. "Could I have some water? I'm... Really quite thirsty."

The guard rolled his eyes, assuming that it wasn't some weird eye thing for gungans, as Asheek tried to place a certain interest in his mind. At first, she followed his thoughts, how he formulated them, how he acted on them. Then she did something a bit more complex. She took bits and pieces of his thoughts, making him recognize them as still his, but wrapped in a different way, a different though.

It would be easier to leave my weapon here, I'll just be gone for a moment.

The gungan shrugged his shoulders, placing his electro-spear against a wall quite a ways outside their reach. She wasn't willing to risk anything by trying to convince him to place it closer. The gungan walked off, walking down one of the paths deeper into the encampment. Giving Kai a devious smile, she reached out, grabbing the electro-spear with the force, tugging it closer until she could grab it herself. Her mind went back to Kai, finding it easy to send him a message as he concentrated on his own plan. You'll have to find a different way to open the gate. I couldn't figure out how to convince him to leave it.

Noticing the slight flush in color of the stripes on her montrals and lekku, Kai looked away, grinning bashfully. Yup, she heard me, he thought silently to himself, hoping she didn't end up hearing that thought, too. Sitting around, meditating, trying to manipulate the weather with the Force, Kai barely noticed what was going on. What Asheek said or did was largely a mystery to him at that moment as he was too focused on using the Force in a new manner to really take note of anything else. Of course he knew she stood up, but beyond that, he didn't realize where she went, or what she said to the guard. It wasn't until Asheek had grabbed the electro-spear and then touched his mind that he realized that she had finally affected her plan. Nodding, he replied back, "I'll take care of the gate, dear."

Opening his eyes, Kai was pleased to see that his efforts had not been in vain, and that the area around the swamp was now filled with a thick, clingy fog. Looking back to Asheek, he smiled, "This will be easy." Gathering up the Force, Kai reached out and crushed the locking mechanism with the Force. The simple swamp wood shattered under the pressure leaving the door wide open. Luckily, nobody was around at that moment to hear the rending of the wood. Standing up, Kai looked to the attractive female standing next to him and then he gave her a playful smile. "First things first, we get out lightsabers."

And with that, Kai gathered up the Force once more and led Asheek out of the stockade. They would need to be moderately stealthy to get to the weapons without being seen, but even without lightsabers both Jedi were deadly to the gungans there. Kai just hoped to maintain the element of surprise for as long as possible.

Nodding, with a determined grin, Asheek followed Kai, and the moment she stepped off of the wooden cage platform... She felt the regret of never wearing shoes all over again. Ugh. She hated Naboo. Moving slowly, keeping herself light, she tried to keep the 'scllrrp' -ing noise from getting to loud as she moved her feet through the mud. Keep a pace a bit behind Kai, she kept her eyes opened, looking around corners, into alleys and-

Kai had passed a thin wall, a holding pin of some kind with tall walls. By the time Asheek had passed, a gungan guard had passed, one she recognized as the same one that had been guarding their cage. As they locked eyes, she saw a look of shock on his face, and she didn't let him get beyond that. Swinging her electro-staff upwards, she slammed the blunt end into his crotch, before pulling it back as he doubled over, jamming the end into his chest. Kai would hear little more than a sharp yelp and the sound of something being zapped, before Asheek was right back behind him.

Her mind reached out, connecting to his once more. You know, I might keep this thing.

Hearing the yelp in time to turn around and see Asheek zapping the gungan guard before he fell to the ground unconscious, feeling Asheek's warmth in his mind, he smirked and simply replied back, "Nice, c'mon." Before waving for her to follow him further into the camp. They took a a few twists and turns until they were finally behind the tent that held their weapons. Looking back to Asheek he remarked, "Alright, we'll get our weapons then we have to move fast to make sure that none of the gungans escape to warn others or try to start up this kidnapping ring on their own again. I'm sure neither of us want that."

Taking a deep breath, Kai waited for his friend and companion to respond and give him the signal that she was ready to proceed with their plan. Nodding back at her once he knew she was ready, Kai gathered up the Force and used it to augment his speed. Rushing forward, Kai ran towards the front of the tent, and tossing the pair of gungan guards into each other before they had a chance to react. Barging inside, Kai gripped the gungan standing watch over the looted gear with the Force. Motioning to Asheek to grab their lightsabers, Kai slowly squeezed the life out of the gungan. Not to kill him, but he had no intention of leaving this place with him conscious. Once Asheek had returned with his lightsaber, Kai took the metal hilt into his hand and activated the silver blade. Tossing the unconscious guard off to the side, Kai glanced over to Asheek, "Alright, it's time for us to go kick some ass."

Asheek followed Kai, allowing him to knock out and dispose of the guards before she moved, low to the ground, into the tent. Luckily, she wasn't spotted. With a large grin towards Kai, she grabbed the tube containing her lightsaber, twisting the cap off, before holding it upside down, letting her lightsaber slide out into her hand. She felt as if she would never grow tired of the cool, smooth hilt as she balanced it in her hand.

Looking at the discarded tube, she carefully disconnected the fairly simple strap, pulling it onto the electro-staff, as it was too large to put in the tube. Sling it onto her back, she gave a smile at Kai. Holding her Lightsaber Pike steady in her hands, she began to focus the force around her, so she could move much easier, as well as keep her headtails against her body to prevent injury to them.

"I'm ready." She stated confidently. "But let's stay quiet, and stay careful. They may just be slavers, but you never know what tricks they might have as trump card." She warned, her mind starting to reach out, to identify any unaware slaver gungans near them. "And... Let's try not to come back to this planet too often. This mud is starting to agitate me." She joked.

Looking out of the tent, she glanced around the camp, small patrols of guards walked by clueless. Her eyes followed them, before she noticed one of the makeshift guard towers, built out of wood cut directly from the nearby trees. It gave the scouts on top a good view around the camp, but the tents around it made it hard to track anyone down below. No doubt it was simply to watch the outskirts of the camp. "...If we can knock down one of those towers, we can draw a commotion, pull most of the gungans into one area."
