Hunting for threads

Hi I'm having trouble finding threads to rp on can somone help me please :)

Roleplayers are elusive beasts. It's all about using the right bait to lure them in. While there are many ways to hunt these creatures, I typically use these three methods.

Scout through the Character Profiles for a character that intrigues you. One that you think would interact well with your character. If the owner of said character is active, send them a PM with a short summary of thread ideas that you like and have them choose one.

Or

Do a short write up for a thread idea that you have in the Role Playing Help board such as the two links below and see what kind of responses you get:

Lastly

Join or aid a faction.
Your character is an Indie. Everyone needs help. The Sith certainly wouldn't be opposed to having a mercenary do a few deeds for them. The Jedi might reluctantly accept his services depending on the circumstances. Indie factions are full of assassins, knights, pirates and just about any kind of character you can think of. Joining a faction means participating in their missions which is another great way to get your feet wet.

Not to discourage you from your current character, but one of the better ways to get involved in RP (especially when new or coming back after a while) is to join one of the main factions. They are deeply tied to the story of the site and constantly are putting out missions and whatnot to get people writing. This helps you find people you like writing with.

Being solely an Indie character can definitely be done and many have but it takes alot more footwork of your own to get going. I see you are in the syndicate already with a character. I would recommend getting ahold of your FL and seeing she can help pair you with some similar characters.
