Orange looked down below to the mass of lights and ships that was the surface of Nar Shaddaa. He disliked flying here, no room for anything interesting, but he wasn't here for fun. His life had been rather dull up till recently. Even though it was interesting, he hadn't had fun in a very long time. He had been searching a week, but hadn't found a thing. Perhaps he should take a break? Not now though. The trail would get harder to pick up every passing second. He skillfully flew the ship in, landing down gently on the old landing pad. He questioned whether it would hold his weight, but even as his conscience considered it, his reflexes had landed him, and taken him outside into the hussle and bussle of the streets. He glanced around, then went into a bar. After all, he still had some underworld connections.

The bar had seen better days, and it had been far too long since he had last seen it. However the bartender looked up and brightened at the sight of Orange, and then darkened, seeing that he was alone. It was the first time in a year he had truly been alone, except for the bathroom. Both knew it was an ill-omen. Orange ordered a drink, and then spoke to the bartender, in a whispered, hurried voice.

"Have you see Renji recently?"

"No, can't say I have. Why, where is he and Matt?"

"Matt's dead, and I'm not... sure about Renij. He could be."

It pained him to remember Renji and Matt, seeing Matt's dead body, with his heart pierced. And remembering Renji's eyes was horrifying. he drank the rest of his drink, and hurried on. The bartender stared in amazement. There had been a pretty girl eying him. Last time he had seen Orange, he had flirted with every single woman in the bar, even the ones that everyone knew would slap him before he finished his sentence. Something had changed.

Orange walked on, entering several bars. He was running out of bars he could go to. After all, it was possible the exchange was after him for ditching that boss on Tatooine, and without Matt or Renji, he had no idea how to get around that. Finally, he entered the last bar he could remember. Inside was a carnage, and a man in the center. It wasn't Renji, though. He didn't look anything like Renji. Orange turned and left before the person had a chance to see him, and wandered aimlessly on the streets. He finally walked back into a bar, and sat down with a particularly strong ale. He wanted to think over his life.

Where am I going now? I want to find Renji, but my chances are getting worse and worse. And even if I found him, what would I do? Why should I search for him anyways!? I should take up swoop racing or something, maybe enlist in an army, or just go around stealing stuff, to survive. I've got no money left. It'a all gone on food. But how do I make money? The exchange is after me, and so are the police. I don't want to chance fighting them right now. I want to find Renji. Although it's my best chance, to get Renji back, at this rate I'll die in the attempt.

He sat there, thinking, until the bar closed down, and then after it. He had lost himself in memory, and failed to notice the three twilek bounty hunters behind him. One pulled out a blaster, not a very good model, and shot him in the back. Cowardly, but effective. The pain seared through him, but it wasn't fatal. It would have been, if it hadn't been for the great blade on his back they had shot. He spun around and slashed, gouging the first ones chest. He fell over, letting his other two partners take care of it. The first charged towards Orange. It's blade was high over Orange's head, but it never went down. The man paused, and blood leaked from the wound where Orange's blade had gone through the Twilek.

"You Amatuers."

He hadn't fatally wounded either of them, becaue he didn't believe in killing people. Defending himself was another story. He slid the blade out, and gave the Twilek room to fall on the floor. The third, seeing how easily dispatched the first two were, was more careful. Sort of. He picked up a glass on the table, and threw it at where Orange had been before he rolled under the table. Then with a mighty heave, he threw the table at the third person. What a mess, of drink, wood, and limbs. They must have relied on killing without a fight. No, they didn't have stealth field generaters. So they were just new to the business. Orange looked sadly at the wreakage, and then he left. One of his last friends had sold him out for money, and it was apparent there was a bounty on him. It was time to be gone. It would be a while before he returned to Nar Shaddaa, that was for sure. He walked, almost ran to his ship, althoug he knew what he would find there. And sure enough, there was already a guard waiting for him. So Orange sat down, and concocted a plan. Not exactly his strong suit, and the terrible smell surronding the area wasn't helping any, but he had to make do.

An hour later, he had come up with a plan. He climbed the wall, using his sword to make it easier, and get a vantage point on the guard. He was surprised to see another on top aiming a scope at the guard. So there was more than one. Orange sighed, heavy and hard. It was unlikely that there were only two. He looked, hard and far, all around him. He saw another over the apposing wall, also pointed down at the guard. He was about to make his move, when he suddenly had a feeling. Something else was here. He searched again, looking high and low, before finding it. On a billboard, another gun was poking out.

This one was clearly professional, having a hard to get to vantage point, and being well consealed. Orange paused, wondering how he knew that the alien was hiding there. He couldn't see it... but he knew.
Orange quickly went inside, and took the elevator down. Then he went to the second building. On the top, he slashed at the man from behind, to the throat. Quiet. Cowardly, but that was the way to do it if you felt like living. Then he stole his gun, and took a shot at the one behind the billboard. four shots immediatly answered, shooting the one on the first building. The guard, seeing something was wrong, ran in, and went to the top. A shoot-out ensured, which gave Orange a good chance to jump down into his ship. He winced, pain clawing it's way to his knees, but now wasn't the time. The ship flew up, and away, leaving the two bounty hunters with nothing. Orange chuckled slightly. It made things easier and harder. Renji would be in the same situation, most likely, with fewer alternatives to run to. If he was running at all. But where was he to go? Orange sighed, and set a course. To Corusant, oh joy. Well, it was his best chance.

A few hours later, he arrived, this time on a safer landing pad. He got out, and started wandering. He hadn't seen much of Corusant, although it had it's similarities to Nar Shaddaa, it was quite different. Well, he had to start somewhere. He entered a Cantina, and talked to the bartender. Nothing. Well, it wasn't like he expected anything. A sudden, terrible weariness came over him, and he sat down and order a shot of Juma Juice.
