Hugo Parasini is a non-force sensitive Human male who is the Governor of Opportunity, an up-and-coming industrial world in Independent Systems Consortium space. Force Eternal era. Hugo was born on the mid rim world Ubrikka, his father worked for Ubrikka Industries. After going through high school and going through college, he got an internship at Ubrikka Industries, getting inside knowledge and experience into corporations and the trade. After getting his degree, he would become a corporate liaisons in the company, which would let Hugo build a network of contacts.

After the AMS pandemic started ravaging the galaxy, Hugo and his family retreated off world and moved to Christophsis. Hugo was relived when a lot of his friends moved off too.

The Independent Systems Consortium was made and it was already making waves. Hugo was very impressed by it's President Emryc Throne, and agreed with a lot of with what he had to say. And it seemed like there was no stopping him.

Hugo would find a new line of work on Christophsis but that wouldn't be the case for long, as word got out about a budding colony in the ISC that companies big and small are flocking towards. Seeing the opportunity, he would see a way he could get rich. He would start a company of his own, Parasini Mining Co, he would hire a handful of people and lease some equipment, it all wasn't a small price to pay and that involved taking out some loans. It was risky but as a wise man once said "One cannot succeed without the risk of failure". The company was middling for awhile, getting by, but they hit it big when they found a decent sized deposit of valuable phrik before anyone else. After extracting it, Parasini Mining Co. hit it big.

A few years later after paying off all the debt, Hugo's ambitions would grow. After much thought, he would sell off his company to the Mining Guild, earning him a substantial amount of crowns. Elections for Governor of Opportunity were coming up, and he put his hat in the race, presenting himself as a knowledgeable, capable entrepreneur who will do what's in the best interests of Opportunity and supporting the ISC and believe in it's superiority. It was a close race, Hugo pulled out all the stops, he 'encouraged' groups to back him up with 'incentives', he got support with i-owe-yous. But in the end, Hugo Parasini raised his hand in victory when he was named Governor of Opportunity.
