[cbox3=100%][FONT=Nova Square][COLOR=rgb(94, 103, 107)][glow=darkslategray][SIZE=5]Three Rings:[/SIZE][/glow] There are four tiers within the ranks of the Syndicate. Those with three rings have the most power and are the less common of the tiers. Three Ring members wear their stripes with pride and are met with the utmost respect. They are the leaders of the Syndicate and usually have their own base of operations which they work out of. They have earned their stripes with their brilliant minds and leadership capabilities to prove they can run a large scale family. Three Ring members have their choice of slaves and are well taken care of within the Syndicate, needing to do nothing for themselves.

[glow=darkslategray][SIZE=5]Two Rings:[/SIZE][/glow] The third tier comprises of members who have earned Two Rings. These members are the lieutenants in an army. They have proven themselves to be competent and trustworthy. Two Ring members oversee missions directly and provide insight into future problems their team may encounter. They are the first members to not be out in the field and can safely work from the sidelines. Two Rings are paid well for their efforts and are given their first slave as a bonus.

[glow=darkslategray][SIZE=5]One Ring:[/SIZE][/glow] The second to lowest tier is given to members who have earned their first Ring. They are the team captains and in charge of their direct unit. While receiving orders from the higher tiers, they are the members who take point on their missions and ensure the team is successful. Single Ring members are expected to get results throughout any problems that arise in the field. Pay for the second tier is not great, but they are allowed to purchase slaves from the Syndicate.

[glow=darkslategray][SIZE=5]Numbers:[/SIZE][/glow] The lowest of the tiers holds the most members and quite honestly are expendable. Sent in as the militia of the Syndicate the Numbers are those who have yet to prove their worth and make a name for themselves. The pay is pitiful yet only slightly greater than being a slave themselves, though slaves are ranked in this tier. No member without a Ring is allowed to own a slave.[/COLOR][/FONT]

Ithica Vale-Haas

✖ The Vampiric Huntress ✖

~THEME

T7CF1r2.jpg

NAME: Itchica Vale-Haas // AGE: 28 // SPECIES: Energy Vampire

HOMEWORLD: Alderaan // FACTION: Exiles // FORCE: Confirmed

[fancybox4=https://i.imgur.com/HDWfra4.jpg]
Bred For Dark
Born From Light
[/fancybox4]
To be an Energy Vampire one must live entirely off the life forces of others. This powerful and seemingly indestructible race seems desirable at first, but it is a living Hell to those cursed to its touch. The process that made Ithica Vale-Haas into an Energy Vampire was the single most painful moment of her life, for that was the last time her heart would ever beat again. What started as wishful dream to enhance one's connection to the Force turned Ithica's life into a living nightmare. Her body was shattered and burned through powerful beams of Force-emitted light. Every cell in her body was ripped apart and mutated into a new species. Only few of such creatures would ever come to exist for there was no other way to make an Energy Vampire. Having no ability to rebuild her body with the Force, she must then feed off of it through others in order to continue to exist. Without vampirically sucking out the Force life from another, her body begins to break apart and would eventually turn to dust.

But it wasn't always like this. Before she married her wife, (Kyra Haas), Ithica Vale was a Bio-Chemistry Major scoring top marks in one of Alderaan's most prestigious universities. She met Kyra her freshman year where the two became close friends. Their connection to the Force is what brought them to one another, but also drew the attention of another. An Exile hiding at the school came to them and taught them the secrets to the questions lingering in the backs of their minds. Both women had a knowledge that the Force existed, as well as the Jedi order, but never thought to seek out training to their religious order. The Exile (blank) helped them gain a better understanding of the world around them and thus pushed Ithica into studying what exactly the Force was and how only certain individuals could react with it. This would start the idea that she could give Force powers to someone who had no connection to it previously. This is the dream that would literally pull her to her death.

Examining The Mind
Experimenting In Love
[/fancybox4]
After graduating both girls set out to explore their research into Force potential. Using the collective wealth of their families they built a private lab in a penthouse suite to which they could work without disturbances. The biggest problem though was Ithica's own stubbornness to get her work done. She never liked to leave something unfinished and had to get pulled from her chair on a nightly basis. For several months Kyra was understanding of Ithica's determination, but it didn't last. Their relationship started to take a heavy toll and almost ended them altogether. They patched things up on a spontaneous camping trip vacation into the woods which Kyra had been begging Ithica to take her on for over a year now. To their surprise both girls planned on using the getaway as a chance to propose and exchanged rings on their first day out in nature. They confessed their love to one another and both vowed to make things better when they returned home.

But what they returned to was a horror show. As it turned out, Ithica's research was far more valuable than she thought it to be and there were those out there who were willing to kill to get it. An unknown group of Jedi had been watching her house and waiting for a chance to steal her secrets. They broke in and stole all of her notes leaving her with nothing but broken vials and burnt hard drives. Devastated, Ithica cried for days. Kyra held her fiance close with tender love and empathetic ears. Once out of the wake the two sat down and started over....together. With a new approach to the research and a helpful hand to solve the puzzle, they soon found themselves back where she'd been stumped and overcame the obstacle. As luck would have it, the Jedi who stole her research found they too could not overcome the chemical equation needed to solve the riddle. They would strike again.

The Last Breath
The First Bite
[/fancybox4]
When they came a second time Ithica was just as unprepared as the first. This time they came at night with both girls sound asleep in their beds. They tied the girls up and then held their blades to Kyra's throat while they forced Ithica to complete her machine. Not wishing to test it out on one of their own they hooked Ithica up to her own device and threw the switch. Her screams were the sounds of true terror as her body burned in the light. Her skin cracked and broke apart from being super-exposed to the brilliant beams. But as the machines reached their peak a malfunction within them caused them to explode and destroy the lab with her still inside. After the smoke cleared the Jedi inspected the wreckage only to be attacked by the creature they'd unexpectedly created.

What came out of the smoke was a being that would bring fear to the bravest of men. She was fast. She was skilled. She was violent. Ithica tore the men apart with her superior strength and with her new powers ripped the Force from their bodies turning them into lifeless, hollow shells. Her eyes could not distinguish friend from foe and in her bloodrage even attacked her fiance. It wasn't until the pleading, dying woman offered up her the ring she'd been given the day they got engaged that Ithica snapped out of it. Ithica cried harder than she had the day they were robbed. Twice now the Jedi took from them everything they'd worked so hard for. But this time came a fruitful bounty: the answer she'd sought for for so long. She was now the living embodiment of all of her research. If only the price hadn't been so steep.

Rebirth Through Blood
Removed From Bondage
[/fancybox4]
Their lives were forever changed that day. With their home destroyed a second time now they had to flee the system for fear of the Jedi who'd escaped coming back for retaliation. The two fled for (Felucia), Kyra's home planet, where they could hide within nature until they got back on their feet. But Ithica's health took a devastating turn as her body began to break apart. Her insanely strong body grew weaker with each day until she barely had the strength to get out of bed. Kyra feared her lover was dying and that there was nothing she could do to help her. She prayed to the living Force when a radical idea came to her. Kyra allowed Ithica to feed off of her lifeforce which rejuvenated her just enough to get back on her feet. The two began to have a better understanding of what had happened to Ithica. Testing their theory, Kyra brought to her a cub from a pack of (blank) which Ithica drained the Force from. As expected, it continued to heal her. Still not fully back to perfect health, the two hunted down the rest of the pack. Like with the cub Ithica ripped their Force energies from them turning the pack into empty corpses. It was enough to satisfy her for now, but both girls knew it would not last.

The girls hid out on Felucia for as long as they could. They fed on the life forms around them while testing out the rest of Ithica's new found potential. The more lives she stole the stronger her powers got. Her strength exceeded all possibilities she ever thought to accomplish. Her speed was immeasurable. Even her skin became harder than steel. But there came a cost. Using her powers drained her of the Force faster than if she were to not. Doing so forced her to kill again. This began to lie a heavy burden on Ithica's shoulders; Kyra's as well. The two did not wish to pointlessly kill off wild animals which did not deserve to die. It upset the balance of things; that's what their old mentor would say to them. They knew they would have to leave Felucia eventually. Slow at first, they branched out to the nearby systems and began to take work as bounty hunters. They only took contracts that allowed for their catch to come back dead, thus taking the lesser of rewards in doing so, but it fulfilled the need for Ithica to feed. That's what they were really after. They hunted down criminals and deadbeat thugs who had abused their chance in life to do something good. Even though Ithica was still robbing them of their lives, they justified it by the potential that they were saving someone else's life down the line. To them, they were doing some good out there in the Outer Rims.

Controlling Their Fate
Called To Arms
[/fancybox4]
As the years passed Ithica's legacy quickly gained a reputation. The name of the Vampire Huntress spread throughout the galaxy. The two began to take more mainstream contacts and would work more in the inner circle of systems closer to the capital (blank). Their contracts gave them unexpected friendships and allegiances which in turn gave Ithica a rather strange following. It wasn't long until she had her own group of bounty hunters who swore their allegiance to her. They worshiped her, protected her, fed her. She had a powerful following ready to die for her. Ithica could walk the halls of their estate and have every head bow to her as she passed. She was a dominant fire that demanded obedience, even from her own wife. Kyra, who by now had become more and more recluse in her study, rarely ever came out to socialize. Having been burned by so many humans she began to resent them. Ithica was her only shred of humanity left and she lived vicariously through her. With their roles reversed, it was Ithica who now pulled Kyra out from her sheltered life and brought her back out to the real world. It was a task that suited Ithica just fine because in her new life she had become the more controlling one.

Through the collective work of the other hunters they started building back up their wealth. They had power, they had money, and most importantly they had protection. The Vampire Huntress could get her hands on whatever weapon she desired, but there was still a lingering threat in the back of her mind. The Jedi who had turned her were still out there. Ithica turned her eyes toward the Jedi and started to track word of their Order. For years she listened to the rumors of their travels. In secret, she would strike their homes in the dead of night and kill them in their sleep. Her revenge became the only thing she could focus on and it caught the eye of her team. Fearing she was this mysterious killer they turned on her. The hunters approached her and accused her of killing innocent lives to which she admitted to killing them, but they were far from innocent. They attacked her in hopes of bringing her down but they were no match for the Vampiric Huntress. She murdered them all. Alone again she and Kyra made a promise not to let anyone ever get in a position where they would feel vulnerable. That's when they heard the call. Out in the furthest planets in the Outer Rim a message was sent out. The Exiled Jedi would come together to join forces against the Order. Fate had heard Ithica's desires and she, along with Kyra at her side, headed for dark space to join her true brethren....

The Hundred Year Darkness has plagued the galaxy. The Jedi Order once flourished in the galaxy as a group of scholars and warriors intent on learning all there was to know about the mysterious cosmic energies of the Force. For generations their temples stood tall and with each passing millennium their influence spread to new heights. Known to observe a strict code of ethics, the Jedi Knights forbade the formation of material attachments and individual bonds (ie. romantic relationships or marriage). Violating these doctrines can be grounds for being exiled from the Order. A century ago, a schism of doctrine split the Jedi between the servants of light and darkness, beginning a long a bloody conflict, known as the Hundred-Year Darkness, which decimated both sides. Now, the Jedi teeter on the brink of extinction. Across the galaxy, their former temples and safe-havens have been mostly abandoned as the majority Order's survivors retreated back to the holy moon of Jedha to seek the Force's guidance.

This is the family that welcomed young Clea into their arms. Born on Shili, Clea was a child of several to a Togruta family. Togruta are most notably recognized for their reddish skin tones and montrals above their heads. Like Twi'leks, they possess hollow head-tails, also referred to as Lekku, that can sense proximity and movement of physical objects around them which help them when hunting their prey. This slight echolocation is why the Togruta race have a minute affiliation to the living Force and are often recruited by the Order because of it. Most Togruta are known to have two montrals on their heads and two to three -sometimes even four on rare occasions- head-tails that are longer and have darker stripes that that of the montrals above.

The Togruta culture have a strong sense of unity and togetherness. It was difficult for her parents to give over their little daughter to one of the Masters when she turned five, but they were also proud she was chosen to lead a life helping others. Clea was nervous about being taken away from her large family where everyone looked out for one another only to go into a community that promoted a life of solidarity. But her fears were put aside when she was put into a group of similarly aged children who too would be learning alongside her. She was one of the few alien-races among the group of initiates but that did not stop her from getting along with them. Being happier in groups than in isolation, Clea fit right into the class and quickly made friends within it. In a natural instinct she was highly adept at picking up on their mannerisms and behaviors, even going so far as to speaking without her broken accent when transitioning from her native Togruta language over to Basic. Clea was never afraid to participate in group activities and was always there to help out those around her. That being said, she was also very tranquil. Never did Clea act out or get out of hand and her teachers were constantly complimenting her that she was an outstanding pupil during their lessons. Her single biggest adjustment to her new lifestyle was that she was required to wear shoes which she found dissatisfying as her people were known for never wearing them.

Like every young Initiate her age, Clea graduated from her class and was sent off to learn with a Jedi Master. (Kensei Lighthawk) was offered the position to train and mentor the new Padawan learner. While her peers were sent off to the other temples in (republic) territory, Clea barely moved at all. Kensei as it turned out worked at the same temple she had been living at, but in a different facility on their campus. He took her back to his lab where he worked as the Jedi's Armory Technician. It was his job to store, repair, and also forge weapons for the Jedi as they needed them. Clea had actually been in this lab years before, back when her and the other initiates had just picked their first Kyber crystals. Kensei had been the instructor who guided them in making the well-known iconic weapon of the Jedi: their lightsabers. Clea remembered falling behind that day as she could not find a saber that suited her. She recalled how embarrassed she was when all of her classmates had finished building hers before she did. The whole experience was awful for the young girl because she felt all alone in her troubles. Being back in this lab once again, while also being away from everyone she knew, filled Clea with grief and dread. Everyday she was reminded most about what she hated about her schooling.

But Kensei was understanding of her plight. He tested her knowledge of saber combat by watching her with a training droid, observing the way she held the saber while also handling herself in the defensive fighting style that all initiates were trained to use. Kensei was displeased with the results and stopped her exercise before she finished. His disappointment was not with her, however, but with the trainers who could not see that one of their pupils had been struggling so. Kensei took the saber from Clea and instead gave her one from his spare collection that had more of a curved hilt which fit better in her dainty hands. From then on Kensei forbid her to use the style that she'd been taught and worked on replacing everything she knew with a style more tailored to her needs. He taught Clea all kinds of fighting styles that she had never known were even a thing. He trained her to fight quickly and more direct in combat which utilized her natural hunting capabilities that he race exhibited. Her people were proud warriors, so why should she not be the same? In time Clea was even taught to duel-wield two sabers at once which was practically unheard of when it came to training one's Padawan. But by far, out of all the other styles he could teach her, Clea's favorite position when wielding lightsabers would forever be holding them defensively with both blades turned upside down thus directing the blades to act more as shields rather than swords.

For years Clea studied under Kensei while working in his lab. Every now and then they were tasked to go on missions, some of them requiring them both to leave the system. Clea loved exploring all the different solar systems out there in the galaxy. There were so many places she'd only ever read about. But pictures could not do justice to the remarkable beauty that existed outside the inner rim. Being out in nature under trees that grew to be over hundreds of feet high was the most remarkable thing Clea could ever experience. It reminded her of home which she missed so dearly. She begged Kensei to take her out to these places more often, but their duties lie in the temple. There were always droids that needed repairs, engines that needed tuning, or weapons that had malfunctioned or broke. While the war may have been over, the need for a weapons master never ended. The Jedi Order was growing stronger with each passing day where they spread out into the galaxy to reclaim what they'd lost. But Kensei feared the peace would not last. He knew that soon there'd be an all out war between the Jedi and the Exile once again.

As Clea grew into a more competent Padawan she was eventually given missions to accomplish on her own. Branching away from Kensei made her nervous at first, but the thought of seeing new worlds excited her even more. Her first missions were all a bore, considering she didn't even leave the quadrant. Still, she persevered and did as the Order asked of her. Finally the day came where she got to venture out of their system and more towards the outer rim sectors. It was there that Clea learned of slavery. Her mission was to travel to (blank) and meet up with a contact who was having issues with a gang of pirates who'd been pressuring them for taxes. The Order agreed to send a Jedi to examine the situation and sent Clea on her way. Upon landing on (blank) she discovered the contact did not show up to their meeting spot. Confused, Clea sent word back to the Jedi fearing she'd gone to the wrong place. Due to heavy rain and weather conditions, communication was too messy to get a response. So, she decided to investigate on her own.

What she found turned her stomach into knots. Clea found the local's village where the pirates had landed and were holding the villagers in cages and chains. Enraged by seeing these poor people being treated like animals she ran in to try and save them. But her arrogance clouded her judgement and ended up getting her caught by the pirates. They chained her up in the same fashion and laughed at her as she was locked away with the other captives. Reminding herself that Jedi were not supposed to surrender to their emotions, she kept her head high and stoic. While the pirates bragged among themselves over the price they'd get for the Togruta Jedi, they failed to realize another Jedi had made his way over to the camp. Since no word had come back from Clea, a nearby Jedi had been called to follow up and find the Padawan. A fight quickly ensued but the pirates were all defeated at the hands of a more experienced Knight. He freed both Clea and the villagers and then sent word to (the republic) to arrest the brigands. When she returned to (blank), she conversed with Kensei about what had transpired. Kensei was impressed with how calmly she had overcome this ordeal. Highly proud of his apprentice, he sent word to the council that she was ready to take on the Trials of the Knight.

[/beebox3]
Passing the trials set by the Jedi Council, Clea was promoted to Knight. She was given her own missions and set out to bring peace. With the Order calling her all across the inner and outer rims, she was always busy. Many of her first missions saw her sending in relief efforts to those who'd lost everything from Exile attacks. Each mission brought more and more suffering to her heart. Seeing the devastation and the poverty of those poor souls broke her heart. Still seeing their smiling faces where she came with food and supplies reminded her that she was doing good. That truth kept her looking forward. She could not give up or let the sorrow eat away at her.

It was then that Clea faced her most difficult choice of her career. On a routine patrol around (blank), Clea felt a disturbance in the Force. This feeling shook her to the core. She followed after the cold shiver down her spine and ended up running into an Exiled Jedi. The Exile attacked her without hesitation. Lightsabers clashed and burned as good met evil. Clea fought back to the best of her ability but the Exile called upon a power far stronger than she'd ever encountered before. A Dark celestial feeling seemed to flow within the Exile. Doubt and fear overcame her. This man in front of her, so insistent on ending her life, had once been a Jedi. A normal, caring, loving peacekeeper of the Force. How had someone from her Order turned so cruel? His anger threatened to destroy her and her body could not keep up. Clea ran.

He chased her across the barren wastes until they came upon a cliff. There, Clea was put with her back to the edge and certain death upon her. Fearing death she prayed for an answer. The Exile laughed at her, boasting about her weak and naive view of the Force. Power was the only truth in the galaxy. He revealed to her his plan for destroying the Jedi by sending her ship back to the temple with bombs in its hold, and that's when Clea knew she could not give up. She knew she could not lose. Clea raised her blades to him and fought back with new inspiration. She could not allow his tyranny to continue. A fire grew inside her as she found the strength to fight back. She remembered what her mentor had taught her and used her inner strength against him. Her determination and quick thinking overcame the fight and the Exile fell to his death about the rocky cliffs. Clea stood tall over the abyss looking down over the misery and suffering that had plagued the Jedi to turn. She said a word of prayer over his passing and returned to her mission.

From there protecting the galaxy from Exile terrorist attacks became the only thing on Clea's mind. She became a warrior that was worthy of the title: Knight. Any time there were rumors of lost Jedi she was there to follow up. Clea's reputation quickly spread throughout the Order, but so to came the distrust. There were those who feared she was following the same path as those who had Fallen before. The Jedi refused to give her more missions and instead set her on a different path. Recommended by her old mentor, Clea was asked to guide a new group of younglings on (Ilum) for their first Kyber crystals harvest. Loyal to heart she obeyed and did as she was told, but not without disappointment. She was humiliated that she was being treated as a babysitter to a bunch of children. The Order knew she was more qualified than this; they were jealous of her power. These dark thoughts poked at her mind while she flew her shuttle to the Jedi transport. But what she discovered in those pupils cured her jealous thoughts just as quickly as they'd come.

In the deep caverns of (blank) with a group of initiate-learners, Clea felt like she'd found her calling. Watching over the spirited youths her heart melted as they become one with the living Force and found their own individual crystals that would build their first lightsabers. Seeing the joy and spirit in their eyes reminded her of her own youth. She remembered her classes, her teachers, her friends. It brought peace back into her heart. While on the long journey back to the Temple Clea daydreamed about having her own students. The Force it seemed had a plan for her to become just like her old mentor, using her knowledge to teach the next generation of younglings. When they returned to (blank) and Kensei guided them through crafting their sabers, Clea sought his council. Kensei was again filled with new pride hearing his pupil wished to teach others. He made the request and soon Clea was given her own space on the temple of (blank). Like Kensei, she had a lab of her own and a workshop to build as she pleased. Students would come and go as she helped them as her own mentor had. Clea was ready to take the next step in her life: teaching her own Padawan learner.

Five years had passed with Clea living on (blank). Students came and went with each new passing over classes. She guided each new initiate in finding their first crystals and thus creating their first swords. All the while her and her Padawan learner forged weapons for the Jedi Knights. The Exiles were becoming more and more active in the Outer Rim and the threat or war finally beginning to become a reality. Clea would soon be called upon to fight again....

Cle'Ath A'gash A'sha

The Silent Sister

AGE 24 / / FACTION Exiles / / RANK TBA
SPECIES Twi'lek/ / HEIGHT 5'10”/ / WEIGHT 120 lbs

UNHUMBLE BEGINNINGS

Born to a guild of slavers the young Twi'lek never knew her parents. She was given a name only and a future written in chains. The particular group she was sold to was found of keeping their merchandise silent, and were know for cutting out the tongues of their slaves. Cle'Ath was born a mute and learned to use body language to get what she needed, at least until a time came when she was taught to use a primitive language of using ones hands. As a child she was told to clean and pick up after the livestock. It was a dirty life and Cle'Ath was riddled with sickness many times out of the year. If not for their stubbornness to keep their product alive, she would never have lasted as long as she did on her own.

By the time she was seven she began to show signs of Force potential and that's what led Jedi Master Tora Xebec to her. The young woman paid for the Twi'lek child and brought her back to the Jedi temple on (blank) after cleaning her up and treating her to a warm meal. A young Cle'Ath was nervous about meeting new people especially when she could not talk with them. It didn't take long for some of the other initiates to become aware of her strange mannerisms and tease her about being a mute. It was then that a Zabrak named (Varrick Xebec) came to her rescue and scared the bullies away. Like a lonely puppy Cle'Ath followed after Varrick in hopes of gaining his protection. Unable to say thanks she sought to keep him happy with her company. She started doing his daily chores for him, along with her own on top of it in exchange for letting her stay by his side. Varrick cared not at first for her constant wavering around him, but he also never bothered to send her away. It wasn't that he was kind to her, he was just indifferent. But the thing that really meant the most to Cle'Ath was that he never judged her for her differences. In time he began to accept that she was not leaving his side and gave her the nickname of "Whisper" which she took to liking despite the fact it acknowledged her disability.

Their friendship grew over the years and strengthened the bond that tied them together. The two were never seen apart from one another, save only at night time when they were forced to sleep in gender-separate dorms. But during the day, they studied together, they trained together, and when they were old enough, made their first sabers together. But even being on different floors of the temple couldn't keep them separate forever. At night during thunderstorms or when she simple got scared, Cle'Ath would sneak away from her dorm to lie in his bed for safety and comfort. Unlike when they first met, Varrick was always accommodating to her; likely due to his own indifferent nature toward their peers. He welcomed her company and began to expect it. She was as predictable as they came. But this did not stop them. The two knew they were different from the others. They embraced this. It wouldn't be until they were far older that they understood why. Both had been touched by the darker natures of the Force that would one day lead them into exile.

DARK SEEDS OF DOUBT

With the bond growing between them Cle'Ath and Varrick were growing more and more inseparable. Turning into their teen years they would soon start desiring more from their friendships. Such a turn of events was long since expected by the Jedi Order who could not allow the initiates to become distracted by trivial desires. The Jedi became more forceful with their preaching and strict separation of the two. This of course only fueled their teenage angst and rebellion. Cle'Ath struggled to accept her abandonment. She fought more than ever to see Varrick and the two were caught together on more than one occasion. After several reprimands, each varying more and more severe in discipline, it got to the point that Cle'Ath was going to be thrown out of the temple. Fearing she'd never see Varrick again she agreed to their terms and had to pull herself away from him.

Cle'Ath's studies began to fail. Not being able to see Varrick ruined her emotional state of mind. She began to think it would have been better if she had just been kicked out all together. It wasn't until Varrick came to her one stormy night to set her right. The two threw out any care for the rules and refused to be kept apart by the Order. From then on they were more careful with their commitment. Conveniently, the Order was far too preoccupied with the Exiles to deal with their own. Their mentor Tora was one such Knight who went out into the dark void to fight off those who turned from the Light. But no word ever came back from Master Tora and it was feared she had fallen in battle, or worse...turned herself to the Dark.

A few more years passed and Varrick was sent a very special package. An encoded holocron from none other than their old master found its way into his hands. Varrick shared the secret tool with Cle'Ath and the two spent their time trying to crack the secret code. After finally breaking the encryption the holocron had only one tidbit of information: a single coordinate in the unknown vastness of space. The two didn't even need to talk about their next course of action; they both knew what was to happen next. They set off on their journey the next day.

DATHOMIR: THE DARK WORLD

Using their gifts and training in the Force they found their way aboard a smuggling vessel. Headed into the Dark void they traveled to a planet known as Dathomir. The smuggler dropped them off on the surface of the planet and the two went on their way, after wiping his memory of any association with them. The planet had a strange air to it that put both Jedi in a foul mood. Their anxiety and stress built up inside them until they were at each other's throats. Worse yet, the two had packed only a few days worth of rations and they soon found they were out of their provisions. Angered and frustrated the two were almost at the point of turning on one another. Thankfully the Dark planet provided for them. It sent to them a pack of wild verne which the two slaughtered and killed for food. As it turned out, their old mentor had been watching them from the shadows. She came to them after their kill and told them of her time in the Outer Rim. Master Tora, who know went by Sister Tora, took them back to the mountains where she'd been staying. A local tribe of witches who would one day be known as The Nightsisters had taken in Sister Tora and taught her of the Darkness. At her request, the sisters took in Varrick and Cle'Ath and welcomed them into their homes.

In the sanctuary of the clan, the two watched the nightsisters train in combat while also pray to the living Force. Each sister was a powerful warrior capable of stopping an army single handed. To them, failure was never an option. Returning after losing a battle was a worse sin than any other. Dying in battle was an honorable loss for their souls would be accepted into the afterlife. This is the fate that would claim Sister Tora. A Jedi had come looking for the two runaway teenagers only to find Sister Tora instead. She fell in battle, but her vengeance was quickly acted upon. The clan slayed the Jedi before he could escape off-world with Sister Tora's body to be returned to the Order. Varrick and Cle'Ath mourned the loss of their Sister as a ritual to return her to the Force was performed. The Sisters offered her body and soul to the Dark side, to Dathomir herself. Like all those who'd fallen in their clan, her body was hung between sky and earth to watch over them in spirit and memory

MARKING OF A WARRIOR

The Great Mother of the clan, a powerful witch by the name of (blank), came to Varrick and Cle'Ath after the ritual. She offered to them the saber of the Jedi who'd caused them so much harm, and the saber of Sister Tora. Varrick, being closer to Tora than Cle'Ath, took up her sword along with her last name to remember her by. He vowed to honor her memory and live a life protecting the clan as she had done. Likewise, Cle'Ath took the saber of the Jedi and vowed to use their own weapon against them. She would remember the pain that he'd caused Varrick, and the clan as well, and promised to seek revenge on the true villains in the galaxy. From this day forward, the two broke all ties to the Order that raised them and fully gave themselves over to the clan. They embraced the Dark side and trained for a sacred ritual which would mark them as true members of the clan.

For years the two trained endlessly in the teachings of Dathomir. Varrick took on the role of sorcerer for the spells of the Nightsisters required much chanting and verbal manipulation of the world around them. But this did not stop Cle'Ath from learning her own trade. The sisters trained her in just about every form of combat they knew. From bo staff to knife throwing she was trained to be an elite assassin in the goal of protecting her clan. She was a fearsome warrior who would never know the meaning of defeat. As she grew into the young woman that was her body began to get stronger. Her connection to the Force gave her an edge over her sisters who could only comprehend its existence, not its will. She soon became too strong to defeat, save for Varrick who too held a special power within him. They were ready to perform the sacred ritual.

Heading out into the wilds of Dathomir with no weapons, food, or supplies, the two braved their journey. There they hunted a powerful (rancor) and brought it to its knees. Killing the beast was no ordinary feat and near impossible to do without the proper equipment. To take it down without so much as a blaster proved their potential as warriors. Bringing the body back to the Nightsisters, the witches then performed a ceremony known as " The Water Of Life " which lowered the two warriors into a natural forming pool at the bottom of the mountain village. As they were submerged into the life water the witches performed on them ancient blessings of protection, strength, and vitality. Rising anew from the pool their bodies were then tattood in the Dark language. They were true warriors of the clan now. They were Dathomir Witches.

CALL OF THE EXILED

The Galaxy was changing. More and more Jedi were turning from the Order. Something was happening that would forever mark its place in history, but few could have predicted the effect such a change would have. Far out in the Outer Rim the Exiles were gathering. They would form an alliance so great it would rival the Order and spark a war unlike anything the galaxy would ever see. These were the few who would become the First Sith. This is what the Dark side of the Force had been planning in its mystical way. This is the call that found its way to even the hidden valleys of Dathomir. The two fallen Jedi could not ignore the pull the Dark side had over them. They wished to join them. They wished to join forces with the other Exiles and bring down the Corrupt Jedi Order that held the galaxy in its grasp for far too long. Seeking the approval of the Great Mother they sought council with her and explained the visions they had seen in their dreams. (blank) was not happy to see them go, but knew there was no stopping the two. Their will was too great to be stopped by even her own magic; so she gave them her blessing.

Dawning themselves with weapons galore they took the Jedi ship they'd kept all this time and used it to fly out to (blank). There they tracked down the Exiled forces and were surprised to see that it was not just Jedi that had come this far out, but all kinds of smugglers, pirates, and murderers who wished to see the end of the Order as they did. Not trusting either of them to be who they said they were, the mundane criminals raised their guns to the fallen. Proving their potential they killed those foolish enough to question them. After half a dozen heads rolled they drew the attention of a fellow Jedi who too had relinquished his vow to the Order. The Exile welcomed them and invited them into the estate; none questioned their motives a second time. From then on they were not just Exiles...they were the First Sith.

[fancybox4=https://i.imgur.com/cHALvLF.jpg] First Mate

Midnight
[/fancybox4]
NAME: Ki'laru "Midnight" Black
AGE: 22
SPECIES: Edemmian

FACTION: TBA

POSITION: First Mate
FORCE: Negative

HEIGHT: 5'6"

WEIGHT: 130 lb
HAIR COLOR: Fur - Black

CHARACTER SUMMARY:

Midnight has never been one to stand up for herself. She was born a slave and for the better part of her life served a wealthy family who treated her more like a pet than a person. It suited the Edemmian just fine as she lived a life of luxury any domesticated feline would be envious of. For years she lived happily just being a piece of property. It wasn't until she began to grow feelings for another slave in the Black family that she began to see just how wrong the system was. Her name was (Alaara), a Torgrutian just a few years older than her who served as one of the manor's nurses. But while Midnight received the royal treatment, Alaara was given the cold hand of punishment. Midnight was always there to comfort the other slave for she could come and go throughout the estate as she pleased. While a friendship between the two solidified almost immediately, the two refused to acknowledge the growing feelings tying them together inside.

Finally, they had had enough. The eldest son, Dri'tel Black, was a womanizer and a brute. When Midnight first arrived at the estate, Dri'tel quickly found his place behind Midnight and took from her a woman's sacred flower. Her attack is what pushed the younger sisters to buy Midnight for themselves so that Dri'tel couldn't have his way once again. This is what started her life of pampered bliss. But Alaara was not so lucky. On and off Dri'tel would return to the estate and assert his dominance over whichever slave he could get a hold of. Nine times out of ten that slave was Alaara. During one particularly rough night, Midnight caught them in the act. She was devastated by what she saw and her rage consumed her. She attacked Dri'tel with the rage of a mother feline and nearly mauled him to death.

Fearing imprisonment -or worse, death- the two ran from the Black family with nothing on them but the clothes on their backs. Luck was on their side that night as they escaped the authorities who came after them. For months they stayed off the grid and lived in the wilderness, occasionally venturing back into the cities to seek shelter from the rain. In time the two bartered their way off the planet and were able to work on a smuggling ship until they got back on their feet. From there the two took odd jobs where they could until they were able to purchase their own vessel and take to the starry skies. The duo took to smuggling and pirating and gathered a small group of deviants to fly with them. There was still a bounty out on their heads, but the two would face it together....

STRENGTH:

DEXTERITY:

INTELLIGENCE:

CONSTITUTION:

CHARISMA:
██████████

Dexterity has always been Midnight's best quality. As nimble as a cat she can maneuver herself around effortlessly in just about any situation. Whether it's combat or chasing her prey, the Edemmian is always fast on her feet and nearly silent in the process. Preferring to stay in high places, Midnight usually takes to hanging out in their ship's rafters. Sleeping in the catwalks of their vessel she can almost always be found lying across a pole with her four tails dangling out under her. Due to her relaxed lifestyle, Midnight isn't much up for socializing. Like many spoiled felines, she comes out of hiding only when it benefits her and can't ever be told to do so otherwise.

In the same respect, Midnight has never been much of a fighter. She easily gets tired during a fight and only exerts herself when she absolutely needs to. Knowing she can't last in a long drawn-out battle, she prefers to take out her opponent as quickly as she can. Using her two pistols she fires a hailstorm of blaster bolts in hopes of one of them hitting their mark. Even though her accuracy isn't top marks, her tactics are usually more for distraction than actual combat. If she can flee from battle, that's exactly what the Edemmian will do. Luckily for her, her teammates are always there to back her up and watch her back. In return, she has also been known to fire a rifle from long distances in which her accuracy significantly improves.

Being an Edemmian, her looks are unparalleled -at least if you like that sort of species. Her black fur, hair, and tails make anyone envious of her soft features. Her ears prick up at the slightest bit of attention which in turn makes her eyes shine with delight. Another of her more deadly, womanly features are her tail's pheromones. The female Edemmian's give off an aromatic smell that works to calm and temper the males of their species who are predominantly more aggressive by nature. However, when this scent is taken in by species other than their own, it works as an aphrodisiac and can turn even the most faithful man into a love-sick puppy. This little trait has gotten Midnight into quite a few predicaments in her lifetime, many of which Alaara has had to come and rescue her from.

While seemingly childish at times, Midnight has a wonderful and caring heart when it matters. She is always there to protect the ones she loves and isn't afraid to stand up for them. Even though she isn't strong, she uses the gifts she was given to take out those that stand in her way. When her claws or fangs don't work, she uses her speed. Midnight has never been ashamed to run from a battle, unless one of her own were at stake. Then she'd do everything in her power to wear the attacker out so she could sneak in and pounce when he least expects it. If Midnight has learned anything in her twenty-two years of being alive, it's that family is what matters most. Whether they are your blood or not, those that are closest to your heart will always be there....
