Description:
The H&K Ridgeback is a retro rehash of classic, archaic slugthrowers predating laser technology. Though its ammunition is entirely kinetic in nature, the cylindrical facade of the cartridge is a showy design, housing a dozen rounds per cartridge - which are breakaway and pre-loaded for quick, simple reloads on the fly.
She's a straight shooter - pun intended: no flairs, frills, or doogamahowzies to get in the way of you and your intended target. A simple forward-facing sight - hence "Ridgeback" - is utilized for acquisition, and a faithful steel trigger is utilized for termination. No fuss, no muss, and she won't break your wallet, either.
Said and done, the Ridgeback is primarily a social statement: "I'm too broke fer a fancy laser gun," meets somewhere in the middle with, "I'm too damned outlaw fer one, anyhow."
