How many missions at once with same character?

Hello all.
Please can somebody tell me whether it is allowable for a character to be in two faction missions at once?

No, you can only be in one main faction open mission with one character at a time. Either as the "friendly" in your main faction or the "enemy" in a rival factions mission. However, Ask missions are a case by case basis. Some Faction Leaders may let you get involved in more than one of those types of missions.
