How do I start rping?

How do I start doing rp on this site? Do I just join an open one? Do I have to create one? How does this work? I do plan to be active on here, and can't wait for the new timeline.

Greetings. That's about the gist of it, Kerns.

Create and post a character and then join an Open thread, or create a thread of your own and someone(s) can join it. Only limitation prior to approval is not being able to participate in faction plot/event threads.

There's also PvP (death enabled), but probably not best to leap straight into that. I mean, you can; hope you don't get killed in your first thread though </wink>

There is a new timeline coming, so my advice is to learn local RP rules and make a character to start. You're welcome to our cozy Discord chat where you can find your RP partner and get an answer for every your question.

The link goes over how to get started and what kind of RP this site does and so on and so forth. There's also the Rules which will give you a better feel for what's allowed and not allowed in RP. All of this info can feel daunting, but taking a little time to look it all over is highly recommended. Of course, if there's anything you have questions about or would like some clarification jump in that Discord and ask away. Most people on the site here are happy to help.
