The video went live as the studio producers hit the button as the lead actor began his line. The host was dressed in a suit, broadcasting outside of the senate building where the trial was being held. When viewers would watch this at their home they would see a ribbon that said, This is an emergency broadcast from the Galactic Entertainment Studios.
"We are broadcasting live from outside of the senate's building where the trial of a millenium is taking place. After a long after the arrest of the alleged spy, the Galactic Alliance has finally decided to try Roger Cantrell for his crimes. Not much is known about Roger other than the fact that he is a retired Naval Pilot who flew B-Wings for the 942nd Starfighter Squadron but the Alliance has released a list of crimes that he is being tried for. We will run these along the bottom of your holoscreen during the course of the trial. Just a few minutes ago we saw Roger and the bailiff go inside of the courtroom where the trial began. The court reporter has relayed to us that the defense team is requesting compensation for the time in which Cantrell had already served in prison and being wrongfully arrested. These compensations are very rare to be requested, in fact within the past five hundred years only three have been requested and only one was approved. We will wait out here and go to a commercial break until the prosecution team begins their opening statement. If you have any input give us a call and we'll address your statements live."
The producers hit another button and they stopped broadcasting, a commercial came on and the reporter waited for the opening statement from the prosecution.
