Holodroids

Are we allowed to use holodroids similar to Sith training droids and PROXY as companions and to train? If so I'll gladly write a tech entry for such a droid. What would be the limits for training with one?

Easiest answer to your question. Here, and here. Using droids and holocrons are ok. but don't just use those to train or advance, if you do Weiss will most likely never allow you're advancement to higher ranks.

Also Sense both the Training droid and Proxy are canon there is no need for a tech write up. However, to my knowledge you can not use "Proxy" specifically but you can use him as a template for YOUR droid as to avoid doing a full write up. I would also confirm this with Jiang the Tech Admin.

Also, be careful with how many solo training threads you use. You could use the droid for a few training sessions, but never rely on those solo threads. Like Tax said, Weiss won't approve your promotion if all you have are solo threads.

alright, so I would like to add the Krath War Droids to this conversation... are they allowed given the timeline?

If it's canon it's ok. To my knowledge there are no restrictions on tech, only some species and planets for 'OP' reasons. For self training and companion purposes it's very flexible. However I would not recommend 'it' assisting in PvP or force hunting outside of NPC's. If there is ever an issue, normally an Admin or FL will bring it to your attention.

If you wish to use a canon droid but want to add a few more custom things to it. Post it in your blog as kind of a dry run then VM or PM an admin like Jiang, Lavi, or I think Green Ranger to see if it requires a full tech write up.
