You don't have to do anything dramatic or such. A simple line about her being nowhere to be seen and the bowl of beetles abandoned would be enough.

I could definitely do that, though the problem is it would be rather difficult to sneak away with the room nearly empty. Besides the Kel Dor and Telon there are only bodies on the floor.

However, here's my idea.

The moment the shield rises up, she realizes that this chaos might be her only chance to escape. She may not have been in the hutt's palace as long as the other two companions, but certainly long enough to know some of the more hidden secrets. Using B'alrok's body as cover while he is distracted by the unexpected arrival of his cousin she shoves a body aside revealing a hatch. This hatch leads downwards, but no to any kind of beast or trap as she has never seen Lagota use it as such. At this point it's a gamble she is willing to take, and she decides to dive right down the rabbit hole.

Whatever works with you is fine with me actually, considering that this is your NPC that I HOPE to take ownership of later. I really just need her to escape in a way so that I wouldn't have to come back later, cause we don't time before the TS, and I also don't wanna have to gut a hutt to get at her.

Here's what I added. Might elaborate and fix it a bit when I'm not so tired, but it should still read the same later on so anyone can reply now.

Intently focused on the scene of the hutt collapsing into the dirt from where he had sat atop his low pedestal, those in the room were oblivious to the small pantoran, who, overcome with fear of what might follow, had decided to take her chances and make an escape.

Slinking away while Lagota was distracted, it took all the strength in her malnourished body to shove a large Shistavanen aside to reveal a rusted iron grate not far from B'alrok's pedestal. Inserting her small lilac fingers through the holes in the grate she pried it open without a sound and climbed into the filth within. Soon disappearing out of sight. ​

Yeah, sorry bout that. Usually I'd be more than happy to play along, doing the whole epic action finale thing with lots of wordplay. Unfortunately, the TS is tomorrow and to my knowledge, all threads have to be completed, which is why I just said screw it and mashed out a post with nothing but murder actions.

Basically I just said that while threads are supposed to be wrapped up in a timely manner I think that it will be fine to conclude it within a couple days.

I would post now, but after waking up at 4AM and doing things across the lower half of the state all day I'm not in the best writing shape.
In any case I will try to get something out tomorrow if that's alright with you.

Though I'd rather not draw out the thread too much longer so if Narci decides to do it and we finish it's done etc.

Yes I did see that, personally, I wouldn't have taken that shit at all.
Anyways, I think there's been a misunderstanding, Kip is here to KILL Xanthier. I'm sorry if I didn't make that clear ealier.
Also, I'm not sure a flashback thread would be appropriate for this situation, or if the admins would prefer it.....

I also made it pretty clear that I didn't want to kill anyone's character right there in the first post as I expected a ton of opposition (which there was.) We didn't harm Telon for that exact reason. I didn't debate hits and tried to make it realistic because I think that's more fun and Kip will certainly have another chance in the future.

Yes, you did say that...Which is why I specifically sent you a PM asking if I could come in and try to claim the bounty AKA kill Xanthier. And you said go ahead and join.
Of course I didn't harm Telon, he was a new member in a (mostly) death disabled thread. He didn't even have a bounty on him to try and claim.....

I thought I was being pretty clear.

As for the believable exit....um.....Any force able to chase Kip away would surely be too much for Xanthier at this point, especially in this condition. It would take a very unbelievable exit for Xanthier to somehow get away at this point.
I agree this is a pretty weird situation, but that's partly why I was so intent earlier on just getting it done, to avoid all this. I understand asking you to literally agree to your characters death is a bit over the top, but ICly considering Kip's skill and proximity, along with Xanthier's condition,.....how would that even be avoided at this point?
