Composition: Layered leathers and plastics as far as body protection goes. For the helmet, light ceramics are used to protect the journalist's head and more importantly, recording equipment. Zippers and a few extra pouches add utility while keeping the extremely light mobility that the armor was designed for.
Rating: Resistant to fall damage, and light blaster damage. Weak against explosive, melee, and heavy weapons including swords and lightsabers.
Description: The HN882 field journalist armor set includes leggings, a vest, arm guards, backpack, and boots made from layered leathers and flexible plastic armors for maximum utility and mobility with just enough protection to keep stray fire or shrapnel from becoming lethal. The helmet is comprised of light ceramics to protect the journalist's head and helmet mounted/built in recording equipment. Cameras are mounted inside of the helmet and fixtures, microphones are fixed on backpack, and 4 floating camera droids that can be deployed come with the helmet array and are stored inside of backpack side pockets.
Very simple and easy user-interface is designed within the helmet visor to control every aspect of the recording equipment and remotely manage network devices from within her ship for broadcasting and networking purposes. Visor uses motion and retina sensors to control the advanced UI with either the eyes or hands.
Includes hip holster for a blaster pistol.
