Sev looked around the studio as the technical workers finished piecing together the stage to look like an extravagant game show; it was working and almost finished. The only thing it needed were some tree of palm from Naboo, nothing that the big green screen couldn't fix during the live broadcast. He walked over to the competitors. Their names were Vaerin Malferathka Naleen, Adden Kal, Dan Coffel, Jacques Demais, and Jonah Capone; they came from all over the galaxy, they were here to make money.
"Welcome everyone!" Sev said as he walked to the five contestants, "I'm glad that you made it here alright. Let's step over here to the podiums where you'll be located throughout the show. Now I know your here to win the 500,000 credits and hopefully have a shot at one point five million credits. Now each of you will go to your podium and we'll get the game started."
Sev walked to his own persona podium that was standing next to the green screen that would show the audience the game board while the contests and him will only see on their wooden podiums. He waited for the rest of the workers to clear out and then he snapped his fingers and began walking around as the mouse droids began sliding across the floor providing a new camera angle while the ceiling cameras began moving to record his hosting skills that would be broadcasted live on the holonet.
"Good evening everyone and welcome to Historical Events! Tonight we are sponsored by the Galactic Entertainment Studios and boy do we have a surprise for you. We put out a casting call a couple of weeks ago for contestants to win 25,000 credits and not many people applied except for a few people; so this is why we jacked that price up and now the top prize is 500,000 credits! Since this is our first show let's talk about a few ground rules; one answer per contestant, you have five rounds and five contestants. Write down your answer and after everyone answers we'll add up the points and see who comes out on top. There are five points possible for each category with a total of ten points possible for detail and accuracy in the answers, and an additional point for the top contestant in each round. There are three types of questions that I am going to ask and they are: Military History, Government, and Planets. Every now and then I will come across a double dare question; double dare questions are designed to intimidate all contestants and boy trust me they are scary! For each question that they answer correctly, they will get five thousand credits just so they don't leave here with nothing. Of course they have opportunities to win other prizes each round too. So Let's begin HISTORICAL EVENTS WITH OUR WARMUP ROUND!"
Sev walked back to his podium and pressed a button that would change the screen on their podium datapads and the green screen in which viewers would see at home. A nine-sided dice rolled on the screen and landed on a two, Sev walked back up to the middle of the stage.
"Alright folks we have a two, which is a military history question. For folks who haven't read the words on the screen at home, numbers one through three indicate a military history question, numbers four through six indicate a Government question and of course that means numbers seven through nine indicate a question about our planets. Now before we begin, I'd like to remind you about our first round prize: a brand new XJ-6 airspeeder. So let's get to it shall we? During the Galactic Civil War, who was responsible for developing the now famous, T-65 X-Wing?"
