Hello, I am new to this site, and I was wanting to join the New Sith Imperium but I have no idea where to get started to start character creation or choose a faction, please, any assistance would be appreciated.

Also, just to add more helpful (and probably confusing) links to the mix, you'll need to post a character here so we can get a sense of your character and to check if there are any major issues. It's also one of the best ways to get help and advice when you're just starting out. Check the stickies at the top of the board for character creation information.

The skype chat is OOC and it's typing and invitation only; it's not something that we've generally had new people ask about so i'm not really sure how to respond.

Thank you, so far good to be here, but I guess what I am asking is would I be allowed to take Force Lightning or Force Choke, maybe Force Rage(which I think makes them physically stronger) just starting off as an Acolyte? Not saying all three maybe just one or two, ^_^.

My suggestion is to write your profile with what you think is correct, and while you're profile is being reviewed to be accepted into the sith order, people will go through it and point out anything that should be changed.

to answer your question, you will need to read up on the basic Force powers and select those powers. keep I. Mind our forum requires new members to start at the lowest rank- character profile wise .

And to answer your questions about those powers... no. Lightning, Choke, and Rage won't fly in the beginning. There was a big to-do over those abilities a couple months back.

My advice, keep it basic. Telekinesis, Speed, Jump, Sense .. seems to be a good starting point.
