Hey! Got some Questions

First off, my apologies if I made another intro thread. It didn't appear for me and when I searched activity it didnt show up. I have been rping for 3 or 4 years on another site which has become inactive. I do have some questions regarding this site:
1. Fleeting (Naval Battles with OC commanders) I was very good at this and I was wondering if you guys do this.
2. Activity level: om average how many posts a day do people make?
3. Do I have to have a profile for each character?
4. Does anyone here love Queen, Led Zeppelin, and/or the Eagles? Heheheh

1 - It is not very common from what I've seen but people are open to it and you can find it here I am sure.

2 - A lot. Very. Weekends are slower though.

3 - Yes, each character should have a page. Check my signature for a clickable list of my char pages.

4 - Yes to all of the above

1. Yes we do, but I doubt there's one right now because at this point the story is still in it's like...ehh Lukewarm stage. The Sith are just expanding, Hutt Cartel at War ( I think) with the Empire, Rebels hiding it out and gathering more recruits. NJO took a beating but is regrowing AGAIN. So it may be awhile before there would be any Fleet Battles, although some Minor Factions and their Fleets could be having one somewhere IDK.

2. We are very active. Like, on a Richter Scale we'd all be dead.

3. Yes, you do. But it's a fun process (IMO) so it's not too troubling. We've got some cool formats you can use and stuff. You however don't need to wait for an approval to start RPing, so it's cool. People may comment on some changes that have to be made with your character but other wise it's cool. However if you are planning for your character to join a Faction, then you'd have to wait for them to approve your OCs as part as their faction before you can post in the Story Thread.

4. I love Led Zeppelin and Queen. WHO THE **** DOESNT LOVE QUEEN.

5. Welcome, and don't worry. This whole thread is for newcomers to ask questions anyway. So ask away. We are a friendly bunch that dont bite much.

1) I'm not sure but I don't think it's that big a thing as PCs don't normally control fleets all that much. It's more about the story not about who wins or loses.

2) Hard to say. Do you want an overall average? Some more active members may post several times a day on certain threads and once a week on others. But I'd say 3-7 posts a day on average seems accurate to me. Somebody might be able to give you a more accurate answer.

3) Yes for main characters you are roleplaying with. Unless it's an NPC. And you're limited to 6 active characters at anyone time IIRC.

4) Yes.

I have gotten myself into a pile of poo by rping 4 different sites on top of IB curriculum. The fleeting part is ok, we had 1 really big battle during the 3 years I was on fans. If I get 2 replies in 10 minutes I would say this site is active :).
Not having an application process is nice. Hammel and hyakuji had lengthy app processes for each.
Also who would have guessed that Bohemian Rhapsody would come on as I started this post.

Two more questions: Do you do any R&D here for creating original ships and better weaponry and 2. What time period is this?

1. Yes we do R&D here in the Tech thread under character profiles, but you need to get the tech itself approved.

2. If you mean actual time period, can't help you there. If you mean RP wise, then it's about a thousand years or so after ROtJ [Return of the Jedi]
