GREE
A Mudjumper dropship dropped out of Hyperspace above Gree's orbit, the destruction of the city nearby the hypergate evident from the portside window.

"Well, this is going to be fun..." The words came, altered by the battle-scarred helmet the man was wearing. The pilot radioed to the city down below and gained clearance for entry. The ship began its decent and lowered into the atmosphere, keeping a good distance away from the hot zone. Suugern used a stained rag to polish his rifle while the ship descended, keeping the gun looking better than his armor, of which the finish had been worn away in places, several scorch marks along the arms, legs, and chest (all places where his bones had been broken, instead of being burned by the plasma), a handful of scratches from blades clashing with it, and dried blood splatters.

"This beast is going to be tough to take down, and it's worse since we have to keep the gate intact too. So, you got a plan?" He asked, looking at the Red Sith from behind mechanical lenses.

Uhrsek could feel it as the ship drew closer to Gree city; he could feel the anguish and terror that permeated the area, and it invigorated him greatly. It was like the sweetest wine to him, something that had enriched his connection to the Dark Side; he would need that boost to gain an edge in the fight to come. The Inquisitor sat and meditated, with his lightsaber before him. He then proceeded to nick the tip of his finger against the edge of the khopesh at his belt; the blood emerging from the cut, he then began to dab runes of blood onto his armour and onto his forehead before activating his rebreather mask. It was then that his companion, had inquired of him of the possibility of a plan. The Red Sith rose to his feet and focused his single eye on the Imperial trooper.

"I say a plan at this stage would be pointless, given that we know little about this creature's nature...it could be very intelligent. However, I do suggest we take any opportunity we find to put this fiend down and tend to the gate before anymore of its ilk come forward."

The Imperial grunted, unsatisfied with the Sith's response. They were going in blind and had no way of dealing with the beast that didn't compromise the mission. Suugern hated not having a plan or at least some idea of what he was facing. The universe was so unfair...

"We could find some of the Gree willing to be suicide bombers and have them be devoured with heavy IEDs or something attached to them. Do we have any explosives or the materials to make them in our ordnance?" The Commander asked to both the Sith and the pilot, figuring one of them knew what they were packing. Satisfied with the look of his weapon, he tucked the rag into one of his belt's bags and took out a stone, followed by his knife. He used the stone to sharpen the already quite sharp blade, preferring an edge so sharp one wouldn't realize they had been cut until the blood came gushing out.

"I take it the blood is part of some pre-battle ritual?" He asked, somewhat interested in Sith culture. He believed in a Goddess of death who granted her blessing to those who killed in her name and promised her eternal love after death to those who killed a thousand people.

Uhrsek continued his little ritual, but it didn't stop him from speak.

"By all means, let the creature go for the civilians...but no suicide bombers; if word gets out of this, Force only knows what would happen as a result of the collective outrage towards such an act."

Indeed, the Red Sith didn't really care for the lives of the flock, what he did care about was ensuring that as little damage as possible came as a result of a course of action taken by the Sith. If pushed far enough, that flock could become a horde, and that is something the Empire didn't need within this region. However, he did have another idea; after all, no one said the bodies had to be alive.

"However, we could strap them to anyone that has died....and I could use my talents to host them up; the creature must be hungry after all, easy meat is easy meat after."

As the Trooper inquired about the ritual he performed, Uhrsek commented thusly.

"That it is, the Sith Kings of Old would mark themselves with their own blood; it puts us in the mood for killing as well as giving the gods their due if we do not spill blood."
