Hello! I'm TThompson and this will be my first time in an RP Thread. I understand that the current timeline will be ending soon, and that we will be jumping to some time after The Rise of Skywalker. Not gonna lie I'm extremely nervous to do this, mainly because the most in depth RP I've done has been in DnD type games and most conflicts are made up for the players and actions are settled using dice and such. So when I do make a character I'll probably start off with small "safe" posts to try and get a feel for everything. Also any help or tips that aren't necessarily stated in the rules and beginner guides would be appreciated. Thanks for having me!

Welcome to the forum! I can see where the nervousness is coming from but I hope you'll come to enjoy the rather liberal (in the sense of not being as regulated in detail) RP you can find on here. Maybe we could do a 'small safe' thread once you've made your character!

I can't think of any unwritten rules that come to mind in particular.

Thank you, I'll be making a character whenever the new timeline gets here. I've read the rules, some sections twice and I will be looking forward to diving into RP and Plots, As of now it seems that I'll have trouble mainly with Combat scenarios and just overall the feats my characters will be able to do. I think it'll be something that will be figured out after a couple of guided posts with other members.
