On Ossus, the Imperial Army is conducting training operations. It's a droid army vs Imperials. War games eh? Imperial Intelligence agents would be part of this as well. Cipher Nine doesn't mind a bit of a 'warm up'. Maybe this will be good practice. So the objective so to speak is to sneak in and capture the leader of the droid army. The Imperials managed to procure a super tactical droid to serve as the 'head of the snake'. He would be working with Cipher One for this mission.

The goal is to infiltrate the base and then capture 'King' without being detected. Well, doing this undetected is a 'secondary objective'. Luckily, Cipher Nine's tech skills are well suited for this mission, as is Cipher One's stealth and weapons skills. Not to say that Nine's marksmanship and ability to sneak are bad, but some are more talented than others.

The two have arrived undetected, they would be on the cusp of arriving on the outskirts of the base, heading towards the rear western-flank. Most of the droids attention are diverted to the front line, so that should make getting in easier. Under the cover of some trees, Cipher Nine would look through some macrobinoculars. "I see droids in towers keeping watch in guard towers all four corners." he relayed to his partner. Cipher Nine brought a Nightstinger pistol instead of his usual, more reliable one. Of course it's power lowered for the 'wargames'

The base is on alert, so alarms being sounded won't mean that the secondary objective is failed, they just need to not get caught and their presence inside alerted.

One scanned the area over and over again looking for any sort of weakness in getting in. Though it was simply a wargame he was taking it as serious as the real thing. In his mind, if they failed, he died. He had to think that way because getting used to things being low stakes was a death sentence in their field. He was absolutely certain that Nine was taking it as serious as he was. One did not become a Cipher by screwing around.

"There," One pointed to an entrance on the East of the base. "Watch." He sat silently as the droid patrol that was in their path turned and rounded a corner and for about thirty seconds no one was watching the entrance. It would be their window.

"Think you can breach the door in the thirty second window?" One turned and pulled out his Nightstinger and gave it one last check over making sure it was armed and ready to go. Satisfied, he tucked it away and pulled out his data pad and a holographic of the inside came up showing the interior. "We enter here," he said pointing to the entrance door and then followed the trail to the command center. "Target is here. Once we get into the main HQ I am sure grabbing King won't be easy. You think you can shut off power long enough for me to subdue?"

Kidnapping this droid was not something that they would be able to do easily. They had a few different options. They could sneak in, go hot, and make their escape. However, the entire base would be on alert, and getting out undetected that way would ultimately be impossible. They could also get close and disable the droid or even possibly hack him to turn to their side.

"Open for additional ideas as well."

He listened to Cipher One's ideas. His ideas weren't a bad course of action to get in. Cipher One was on to something getting in through the door the droid patrol went through. "Yeah, I can do that." he simply stated. The door looked like a simple security door, shouldn't be anything that the slicer won't be able to break into. Slicing is his specialty after all.

He would listen to the ones other ideas. "I should be able shut power off yes" he nodded as he affirmed.

As for other ideas. "Your ideas are sound. Although getting, there is the problems of the guard towers." After all, they are keeping sentry, have long range rifles too, and are on alert. Even if there is a chance that there was no one looking over that entrance at the time, he didn't want to take the big chance of being spotted in a cross glance "We will need a distraction..." he would look below, seeing what all he has on him that could help, and see what the enviroment has to offer. He would see some rocks. "You a good thrower?" he would pick one up. "We throw rocks in bushes in different directions, the two overlooking the access point should be alerted and confused, then we use that as our opening, right when the next patrol goes in. " This would need to be coordinated and timed just right work work and get themselves the base.

What is inside the base is unknown and they will have to play by ear, one step at a time. "We ready?" if the other cipher agent would go along with this plan, then they can proceed.

"Ready as we are going to be." 1 reached down and grabbed a rock. A memory flashed in his eyes of his youth when he and his friends had played with rocks and sticks. He had always been on the athletic side and he was always one of the first picks to be captain of whatever sport they were playing. For a brief moment in time he longed for the days when things were simple. But that thought quickly left his mind as he looked up and waited. The timing of the throw had to be perfect. He had to get it over before the sentries turned the corner but enough to where they would have time to scramble in.

"Lets move!" 1 launched the rock right into the bushes, no time to waste to see if 9 was successful. Taking off in a sprint he ran to the access point, removed his Nighstinger, and held it at the ready just in case he needed to use it. "Clocks a ticking. Lets see how good you are." He had full faith in his partner, he would not have been given a number if he was not confident, so now all he could do was wait.

Nine would grab a rock as well. Now they waited for the perfect moment, he trusted his fellow Cipher' discretion while doing this. With pistol in one hand, he would throw the rock at the other bush. It would stir lots of moment, and that would alert the guards in the towers. They would look in the direction the sound was at, and upon seeing bushes, they would fire blaster bolts at it. Upon seeing there was nothing in there, they both said at near the same time "Must have been the wind"

While that happened, he moved swiftly towards the door and begin his work. He would take his security spike and then put it through the access port. Although not as skilled as Acklay, Cipher Nine is a proficient enough slicer that he can get door the door open. A novice slicer would let pressure to get to them while working under a short amount of time, but pressure leads to mistakes.

With just enough time to spare, the door would open. He would gesture for his partner to come very briefly, and then he would get through the doors. Now they are inside.

With that, Cipher Nine would close the door behind him as soon as his partner got through, he would take out his pistol and take cover behind the aclove. He would take a peak around, and see nothing. But quickly he retreated back to cover when he heard metallic footsteepson the metal floor. Two KX droids would appear, toting blaster rifle, coming from the direction of where the command center is.

It's evident the inside is well guarded. "Well, we are in" he snarked. Now to move forward.

Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, the timing was everything here and even though it was a simulation he could not help but feel the pressure. But the doors opened and the two were inside. Step one went without a hitch. The two of them moved inside and 9 spotted two guards coming. They were blocking the path right to the main headquarters. They could, in theory, take down both of the droids but that would not be an easy task. Plus, if they did that, then the entire building would be on alert. Their chances of getting their target would diminish significantly. "Lets not take our chances with them." 1 said quietly.

He thought back to the map of the building before he acted and motioned for 9 to follow him. They would have to take a longer route but it would be significantly safer. "The main power hub is not far from here," 1 paused around corners to make sure no one was coming. "You get in there and get the power down and I can subdue our target and we can both escape out the way we came." He didn't quite like the plan but it was the best they had.

"Any way you can turn these droids against each other in some fashion?" The idea came to him and it would be a lot easier to get their target if there was chaos going on.
