So,

Did Han Solo kill himself? We all saw them both grab the lightsaber; we know Leia told Han to bring their son home... but at what cost? If Kylo hadn't killed Han Solo (if he even did), I'm almost certain Snoke or one of his instruments would have snuffed the poor kid somehow. Maybe Han Solo thought this too and ignited the saber himself? To make sure his son didn't die at the hands of some monster, and eventually bring his son home.

I don't know.

It was definitely Kylo. Han's face after being stabbed was not one that said "I did this to myself."

Ya Kylo definitely killed him. And that scene was most definitely my favorite in the whole movie. Said a lot about both their characters and I loved it.
Kylo taking off his mask, the symbolism in that.
Kylo saying something along the lines of "I don't know if I can do this. It"s tearing me apart."
The struggle for the saber and the shock on both of them for igniting it in Hans chest.
Han caressing his sons cheek right before he fell.

All of it was good. I liked that scene.

I heard that rumor.

Honestly, Han killing himself with his son's lightsaber right in front of him seems very counterproductive. Even more so after he thanks him.

It was Kylo who killed him, in what was easily the most powerful scene in the film.

However - I think in his last moments Han forgave his son, and it is that forgiveness that will have a larger part to play in the films.

I want to see Leia beat Kylo Ren to death with a handbag full of cocaine in Episode VIII.

"YOUR FATHER SPENT YEARS SMUGGLING ALL THAT SPICE TO PAY FOR JEDI SCHOOL AND THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY HIM?"

I'm not sure there would be any left in the bag after Carrie and the cast of New Hope finished with it.

SPOILER: It took years for Han to smuggle all that spice because Leia kept nicking it.

This. Norbs, you the man.

I want this to haunt Kylo Ren/Ben and I want it to destroy that man. His father forgave him and wants him to do better, to change. But the Darkside is so damn strong. I want the trilogy to answer the question of "can you truly be forgiven? Even after all that bad shit."

Now I think killing your father is a very bad thing. So bad that it will undoubtedly kill Kylo Ren/Ben, but the question is who will it kill?

Kylo Ren or Ben?

What I took out of that scene was that Kylo was also trying to prove to himself that he was as fallen as Darth Vader - that he was trying to become as immersed in the Dark Side as the figure he tried to embody.

Of course, even having to prove it to himself tells you a lot about how conflicted he is, and I think that'll come into play in the next two movies. I doubt this is the last we've seen of that internal struggle between light and dark.

Actually, you all missed the most important part.

After Han fell, he landed in the trash heap of Starkiller Base, more particularly, in a refrigerator, and the door closed as he fell in.

If you pay close attention to the scene of Starkiller Base exploding, you can just see the outline of said fridge flying away.
