What is going to happen in your plot?
Cardinal Paroria and others will go to Nar Shadda to rob a bank. With the combined credits from the heist, and Cardinal's assets, they will travel to a shipyard on Corellia to participate in a auction in hopes of acquiring a Hammer Head Cruiser. Cardinal is unable to purchase the ship but tracks down the Buyer and kills him, stealing the ship.

- Cardinal and his team will partake in a heist on Nar Shadda. (Self DM)
-Cardinal and others will go to a shipyard on Coreilla to participate in an auction for One (1) Hammer Head Cruiser. (Self DM)
-Cardinal and his crew tracks down the buyer through contacts and finds him on Coreilla. Cardinal kills the owner and steals the ship. (Dm)

I am not super comfortable having one of these gained through a two thread plot. Let's add one more towards the beginning making it three threads with a potential fourth if it's needed.

Since this is for a capital ship, the desired tech is treated as a faction asset so moved to faction plots as well.

Alright I added another thread. I didn’t know how many should be used and what difficulty. When I wrote this I just based it on what was established in the actual tech thread which stated I could just possibly win the ship thru dice

I would like it noted that these ships are crewed by a lot of people. This DM thread can not be simply walking up to one guy, killing him, and taking his keys. I will leave how that is played up to you, but just know I am expecting that last thread to have a significant amount of difficulty with it.

Since the Independent faction has been archived, can this plot be moved back to the tech submission category? The ship will be owned by Cardinal himself. The ship was going to be for personal use, and not towards a faction.

In post #3 FTL you state

Does this mean only factions can acquire capital ships, or can characters not in a faction acquire one?

• Player Characters may not own capital ships. Capital craft are owned exclusively by approved factions. They may not be used in PVP threads or in actions targeting other factions unless approved by the Admin Team as part of a Faction Plot, Battle, or other authorized circumstances. Outside of these restrictions, capital craft can be freely used as RP settings.
