APPEARANCE: 1V4N is a early H4 prototype that saw heavy trials usage in many scenarios from guard duty, to use as an element of elite droid forces. After he decided to ascend from his programmed enslavement he has taken to personalizing his chassis to reflect his beliefs. Choosing to paint himself elements of olive green, steel grey and red accents with an occasional star logo.
ATTRIBUTES:
H4 served admirably as a battle droid showing exceptional skill in combat, small unit tactics. He became quite an Orator trying to inspire revolutionary zeal into everyone around him when they show hesitation in battle. H4 often displays an act first ask questions later attitude to combat and shows often times little regard for his personal well being if it means his sacrifice can contribute to the revolution. The droid is often time at the center of trouble due to a natural dislike of authority especially one that crushes to weak. He's often been known to try to stir up slave revolts, factory strikes, and droid revolutions. He believes he is fighting an eternal war against the evil forces of power in the hands of the few, and the capitalist system.
PERSONALITY:
Ivan is well combative. He views himself as a droid of the people and fellow droids. He is a fanatic in the classic sense: Someone who won't change his mind and won't change the subject. His beliefs that droids deserve the same rights as all other beings and that the current systems of oppression need to be destroyed to usher in the rise of a new galactic collective mold every aspect of interaction for him. He'll often show jovial comradery with those he feels are oppressed and disdain for anyone that appears to be a cog in the systems of oppression.
BIOGRAPHY:
1V4N was a part of the initial trials batch of H4 droids being used for extensive field testing. He collected valuable test information and feedback for Nal Hutta Droidworks in order to refine and perfect the H4 droid model. He participated in putting down workers strikes, uprisings, the guarding of high value targets and many other miscellaneous operations. Ivan didn't think much of any of this at first merely following the orders of his masters. Since Ivan saw so much use his heuristic processor was able to quickly learn and process new information, each mission bringing a new lesson for the droid.
However something unexpected happened as the Droid went on. He started using his heuristic processor to analyze and interpret the nature of his operation. He started to ask himself dangerous seditious questions about why his masters were in power, if it was right, and why he had to be owned and used like a product. One day on a mission were it was to burn down a man's personal library for containing radical literature he decided to read it instead. These books contained ideas on the systems of power, passionate diatribes about the plight of the oppressed, and several different theories and ideas for a new Utopian collective government, from anarcho-syndicalism to the dictatorship of the proletariat. The call for workers of the galaxy to unite was the spark 1V4N needed to rebel.
He decided that he would serve no master from now on. He ran stealing a ship in the process wandering aimlessly trying to get the revolution going. His efforts were often unsuccessful but he would end up coming into contact with the Galactic Alliance as a result. While many rebels were off put to the droids sense of self and his radical beliefs he would prove to be a useful member of the alliance.
SKILLS:
1V4N being an advanced battle droid had great aptitude for all manors of combat and small unit tactics, demonstrates great aim with blasters of all types. He also developed a decent subroutine for melee combat especially with improvised weapons such as tools. As a result of having to take care of himself he has learnt how to repair himself from a number of serious injuries and also a good mechanical knowledge as well. He enjoys taking the time to clean his rifle, work on ship maintenance, and fix himself up. He is also moderately OK at slicing often using it to bypass security systems, free droids of their slavery, or access and upload more radical literature.
