Pretty new to this place, format even. Especially ignorant to the ways this place is run. With that being said it may take me awhile to get fully comfortable, and I'm probably going to make a lot of mistakes lore wise, logic wise etc even if I regard myself as fairly knowledgeable of the Great Galactic War and fairly advanced roleplay.

Please be aware that I may ask a lot of dumb questions, I don't mean to be irritating but I'm not used to roleplay communities as well organized and complicated as this, I hope you understand. I am very excited to take part in wonderful stories though, I'll put my best efforts into things once I get that well needed push. Thank you for having me :)

There is the welcome PM that has lots of helpful links and stuff. Our Great Galactic War is very different from the one in TOR (pretty much the only thing in common is the name and that there is a Sith Empire)

Thank you. The main thing I'm having trouble with is indeed the lore, as you said, this Great Galactic War is very different to the one I'm accustomed to. I guess the place to start is with where exactly a hypothetical Sith acolyte would have come from. Would the Korriban/Dromund Kaas academies still be functioning in this timeline? My old oc's profile had been rooted in both in the past, I'm just wondering if either would be defunct by now.

Also I was quite interested in the points system, would one gauge progress on that themselves or would they need admins to look through all their successful rps?

Korriban and Dromund Kaas would be fine (although Korriban currently has an infestation on it of another dark side sect which should be cleared soon, but for a biography it's fine to use). Or in most places in the galaxy (Sith acolytes can come from all kinds of different backgrounds). Theres other Sith academies and temples across other important worlds in the Empire.

Anyways with the level system, if you roleplay normally you can xp (credits) towards leveling up and that's done automatically and you'll always be able to see your credits on your accountant . And completing plots and participating in pvps and events (when we have them) does get you a bonus. You can read more about it here
