Morning was teasing the horizon on G'wenee, painting the eastern horizon violent orange where the sun was just beginning to rise. The warm hues were soon met by stormy gray clouds, mudding the vibrant colors into something darker. Though the heaviest of the rain had since passed, it still continued steadily, pitter-pattering on the balcony above her head.

Neri stood just outside a hotel. It was nice enough; the sort of hotel one stayed at to avoid attention even if they had enough money to afford a 'nicer' one. It was only a mile or so from the Nightclub, but this early in the morning the streets were empty. Even as extroverted as she was, after a nice full of such fun, even Neri enjoyed a quiet morning to herself.

The Hapes-born woman lifted a cigarra to her lips and breathed in deeply. Though there was nothing but rose petals and sage in it, the act of smoking was something that still calmed her. She wore a long black dress buttoned up the front, a stark contrast from what she'd worn the night before. She'd woken up not long ago, having barely slept, but the garment was more than reasonable enough to wear on its own.

Just as she exhaled, the sound of a door opening caught Neri's attention and she looked sideways as a woman exited the hotel and began heading in her direction. 'Oh, hello.'

To her surprise, Jayna had thoroughly enjoyed herself the night before. The nightclub was a welcome distraction from all the chaos and uncertainty that had consumed her family - single night to merely lose herself in the music and dancing. No drama. No political ambition. None of the things that increasingly swarmed within the heiress’ mind these days. The fact that Leon had actually shown up.. It still brought the hints of a smile to her lips, no matter how much she attempted to play it off with the man in question.

She briefly glanced down at her NalPhone, responding to a message before opting to leave the hotel room Jayna checked into for the night. The Heiress had already cleaned up and changed into a dark blue gown. She was still scheduled to attend the charity event at the heart of the capital, and was dressed accordingly - black hair tied into a neat bun.

As she stepped out of the hotel, Jayna’s silvery gaze landed upon a familiar face standing nearby. Though they hadn’t been introduced, the heiress immediately recognized Neri from the Nightclub before, having been dancing on another woman's arm.

Waiting for her transport to arrive, Jayna offered Neri a polite nod of greeting. “Morning,” Unsurprisingly, the Thorne wasn’t exactly the type to introduce and converse with anyone without much prompting. She crossed her arms over her arms over her chest, silver eyes flicking back out towards any approaching limo while standing underneath the hotel eeve, just to avoid the rain.
