DESCRIPTION​

Gungan energy shields are a defensive item, crafted by the Gungans of Naboo for the purposes of equipping the Gungan 'Grand Army'. Their most common application was as part of a shield wall, at the front of defensive deployments of the army, over which booms could be thrown with ease. Used most often in conjunction with an electro-spear, the wall would advance in offensive combat, closing the gap between the armies and bringing the bulk of the Gungan Grand Army into close combat.

They also found use in the retinues of Gungan leaders. Manufactured from bronzeium, and using adapted hydrostatic bubble technology, they were a common sight within the Gungan militias. These shields are proof from ranged energy-based attacks only, deflecting blaster bolts back depending on the angle that which they struck the shield. It was completely useless against lightsabers and melee attacks.


It is proof again 3 light, 2 medium or 1 heavy attack.

LEGALITY​

There is nothing illegal about these items, but it would be very rare to see them off of Naboo.

I'd actually prefer this used the weapon template, rather than being an armor function. Also, I think you have Light and Medium damage resistance mixed up; in any case, I would prefer values of no more than 3 light, 2 medium and 1 heavy. I would also like clarification that they provide protection only from energy-based attacks, not physical melee attacks.
