Hask sat in the pilot's seat of the Hellion as the ship entered the atmosphere and was on its way to a nearby city housing all kinds of factories, facilities and other buildings that were cranking out weapons like there was no tomorrow. He looked down at the datapad on his lap. This little item was only one of the many things on his list that brought him to the backwater planet. He didn't want to stay longer than was necessary, the people on this planet were a strange bunch. they were obsessed with duels, dogfights and war in general. As fun as that sounded, getting roped into either of those wasn't something he could afford right now.

He had been sent by Olin to the planet to make a deal with an unknown person on behalf of an unknown employer. As fun as a mission to raid the place would have been, he didn't want to start a fight that would turn into disaster for either him or the rest of the company. At least he had his own personal reasons to be here was well so that fact eased him a little. Since Tatooine he had been searching tirelessly for a place where he could buy a gun or two for himself. But of course work came first and if he still had the time he would deal with his own expedition.

The Hellion touched down by the docks next to a facility working on various exotic weapons. He checked his gear. His Quickdraw and Westar-1 were holstered and both his lightsabers were within easy reach on his belt. His armour was fixed up and his poncho covered up his entire upper body as well as his weapons, preventing prying eyes from figuring out who or what he was. He slipped his helmet on and pulled the poncho's hood over his head, hiding every Pureblood feature he had and giving off the appearance of a weathered old bounty hunter. First item on the docket was dropping off the datapad at the mysterious strangers he was supposed to meet.

He followed the directions given to him and found himself in front of the door of some conference room. He pressed the buzzer to alert the people inside of his presence and opened the door, stepping inside.

1 hour earlier..
Adumar.. Claire thought with contempt, she hadn't faced much with any other emotion in quite a while, hatred, anger and disgust filled her soul as of late. Her nearly worthless freighter broke atmosphere of the planet. They had tons and tons of munitions here, something that would have excited her in a previous life, but now seemed to be only a whim, such as a nice ship flying past the window, neat to look at for a moment, but no further remembrance after that.

She already knew where she was going, and her freighter headed for the landing pad nearest to her destination, sweeping in and cutting off another freighter who'd been headed for the same pad. With and extended middle finger, Claire turned her attention elsewhere, double checking her blasters for their readiness, everything was in order, her pistols, repeater, Beskar'gam, and sword all ready to end lives..

Stepping off she extended another middle finger to the dock worker, allowing her crew to deal with the hubbub of tedious daily life work, Fhtagn it, I got shit to do.. Claire said to herself as she walked away, having already decided if the dock worker protested, she'd turn around and empty and entire mag load from her pistol into his stupid Fhtagn face.

Claire strode down the street with anger and dominance, passersby making a note of her and moving the kriff out the way. She came to a warehouse, finally, and with an annoyed sigh punched in the number to the keypad, a temporary code had been set, and she was making sure it worked.

A small flash of green, and she was in, her silhouette disappearing from the street to the confines of the darkened warehouse, leaving no evidence she'd even been there except for maybe a keen eyed witness.

Scaling up a few crates, Claire took the high ground, her repeater out, and cover provided by another crate. She waited, creating a pile of death sticks as she did so, it would be a while, so she had time kill.

5 minutes before..
Claire finished off the bottle of whiskey she'd brought and chucked it across the room, it crashed into a wall and the glass fell shattered to the floor, then.. the buzz.. Claire turned her attention to the door, her repeater up. Meeting here in a place like this to pick up half an Arc Gun was already super shady, and Claire didn't like it much, but it would be a neat toy to put her enemies down with...

The door opened, Claire stayed silent, her repeater aimed at the darkened silhouette, he.. it.. she... whatever the Fhtagn it was didn't know exactly where she was, but the aroma of whiskey, and death sticks definitely indicated someone was here.

Claire's finger on the trigger was a bit itchy, but good business usually ended with both parties parting ways alive afterward.. Usually..

Hask stepped inside and immediately he was met by the overwhelming, yet familiar smell of death sticks and hard liquor. There was only one person he knew that had such a love for the stuff and he hadn't heard from her in literal months.

"Rayne?" he spoke into the room, but immediately realised how stupid it was. It could be anyone, not just Rayne who loved the stuff that much. He scanned the room, drawing the force around him in case he needed to react quickly. "Umm, hello? Anybody in here? I come on behalf of the Exchange. I was told to meet someone here." he called out. He could feel someone's presence in the room and the smell of drugs and alcohol was also a pretty solid giveaway.

He looked down at the datapad in his robotic left arm and walked a little deeper into the room. He looked around until his eyes finally saw a figure on top of a bunch of crates holding what appeared to be a gun. "Hey, whoa. I come in peace. No need for that." he called out to the figure, holding up both hands for them to see along with the datapad.

His body would be relaxed the entire time, ready to draw either his Quickdraw or lightsabre with the force in case the figure decided to open fire on him anyway.

THEME
People liked having backup plans. At least smart people did. For Burkhart he had back up ships. So far since he had become the Alor of Clan Kelborn he had gone through three, maybe four light freighters. But that probably came with the territory of smuggling. Today the backwater planet of Adumar held some known products of interest for the Morling.

Today he saw something else though. While he had come in his own XS-100 light freighter to check on exotic explosives all he had come out with thus far was a few kilograms of welding putt in a hand bag. On the way back to his own ship he blinked and saw a familiar sight. A waxa class scout ship with a black and red color scheme. It looked to have a nice after market taim and bakk upgrade to its weapon system.

Looking back and forth the bootlegger figured he would take a closer look since the docks were a full block away from any notable building. There was a manufacturing plant probably a few hundred meters down the street and a warehouse even further but other than the docks there was nothing else nearby though this was industrial loading and offloading. The Field Marshal ran his hand along the belly of the ship as he walked, admiring the make and model of the ship with a smile underneath his helmet. "ain't yoo a beaut?" He mumbled to himself with his thick accent.

Claire stepped off the crate, repeater still raised, You got my goods? She said, half a tone of anger in her voice. Whoever this was wasn't the reason she was pissed, but in Claire's mind, everyone was at fault.

She stepped a few feet closer, the business end of her repeater staring at the man, she was intent in boosting her arsenal, and this man was apparently going to help her, he hadn't drawn, either he was incredibly stupid, or maybe he was just here for business, Claire lowered her repeater, it was still pointing at the man's legs, but now it wasn't in his face, Well? She said.

Once the bag was in hand, Claire would sling it into her pack and make her way out of the warehouse, back toward the landing pads.

Hask kept his eyes locked onto the figure. As she approached, he saw the familiar T-visor staring at him and a repeater still trained on him. He kept his hands up as he eyed her carefully, not sure what to make of the fact that he was dealing with a Mandalorian of all things. When she lowered the repeater and asked him again for her stuff, he lowered his hands. "Yeah, sure. Here you go." he said casually as he held the datapad out to her. That was quick...

As soon as she took it and made for the exit, he turned to look at her. "Pleasure doing business." he said with a 2-finger salute and made his way out of the building towards the docks. He had to go to the next, more personal, item on his list. But no way was he going to run around like a maniac the entire day. He made for his ship with a quick walk to fetch his speeder. It seemed that his 'contact' was headed in the same direction, but she didn't strike him as the talkative type, so he just hung back a bit to not put her on edge.

In the distance he could see his black and red baby waiting for him. But a few metres closer and he could faintly see a figure by his ship...he never scheduled any service for his ship and it would most definitely be refuelled by now. Who the hell is that? He decided to rather hurry along and check it out, stepping up to a steady jog to close the 200 or so metre space a bit quicker.

As soon as he reached 100 metres he called out to the figure. "Excuse me, can I help you?" he yelled at the man to get his attention. Whoever he was, he was big.

Without waiting a moment longer he went to where the loading ramp was and pulled out his violator. With nobody looking or within even hearing distance of the wine-up of the weapon he fired into the loading ramp. The disruptor tech would cut through the outer hull of the loading bay like butter. In a moment he had access to the cargo bay of the ship.

Hopping himself up into the ship he sped into the cockpit, dropping an adhesive grenade behind him in the cargo bay to keep the astromech there in place and from exiting the hole he had made by accident. Some of the cargo would maybe be useful too which he could sell for later.

Any people that had been working at the docks would have heard the shot of his weapon and would want to investigate. Burkhart closed the door to the cockpit, locking it behind him so only his side would be able to unlock it. That way he did have to experience cabin depressurizing when he eventually rose into the atmosphere. He powered up the ship, not bothering with hyperspace coordinates. This was meant as a fast exit and he was extremely familiar with the make and model of the ship.

Whomever owned the ship did not even own a Simple Security Redundancy. It seemed. He heard a shout from somewhere outside and gunned the engines, lifting off the ground he shot into the sky.

Having made her way out of the area safely, Claire boarded her ship and exited the atmosphere, hitting hyperspace a few moments later.

Hask saw the figure jump into the ship and by the time he was at 120 metres the ship's engines came to life. Hask was both stressing and furious. He reached out with the force to try and hold the ship down but it was all in vain. The engines lit up and the Hellion was gone in a second, yanking him along and causing him to roll across the floor like an idiot.

He just laid on the floor, face down and completely off the deep end with anger. Not only did he lose one of his most prized possessions in a literal grand theft auto case, but that was his and Aurie's home...and she will no doubt want to kill him over this.

The dock authorities came and tried to arrest him, but after providing evidence that his ship was stolen they let him go. The officer in charge of keeping the ships safe even got him a lift on a passenger freighter to Tatooine where he dropped Aurie off before coming here.

At least there was one silver lining. With the SE's dark council emblem on the back of the datapad, he knew the paycheque for the job would be quite a big number.
