Isaac also generally prefers to approach problems in a more technical manner, rather than just through brute force. Having a mixture of both on the boarding team allows for greater versatility. Add that to the fact that he is a skilled enough combatant to hold his own and you have a major contributor towards taking these targets.

REASON BEST SUITED: 8D3 is a decent fighter. Being a smelting droid, 8D3 is tough, being able to survive very high temperatures and heavy punishment. He has even survived a light-saber to the face by an angry sith. 8D3 is used to dealing with criminal scum, and will gratefully do so with these pirates, no matter the odds.

Lara sticks to her guns and her friends who she is always trying to make more of as she makes less of her enemies via shooting. Plus she loves board games so a boarding party sounds right up her alley.
