Jerec's Personal Beskar'gam

Like many Mandalorian's, Jerec wanted to create a set of personal armor perfect for his daily needs. With the help of armorers on Mandalore and Concord Dawn he was able to achieve this small yet almost traditional goal. The armor was crafted with the intent of creating a piece of armor more than adequate at protecting the wearer in a firefight while retaining as much mobility as possible. The armor is intended to be easily cleaned and maintained with the required supplies. The armor plates cover the wearers front, back, and sides of the torso, his shoulders, parts of the hand, groin, knees, shins, calves, and forearms. These plates are crafted from a duraplast and durasteel alloy so that they may be light enough to wear for extended periods of time but strong enough to withstand blaster fire. The alloys also contain small amounts of Vanadium to provide extra corrosion resistance and a thin layer of thermal gel below the plates to assist with stopping higher velocity shrapnel. The torso plates are articulated similarly to how medieval plate armor was, allowing full range of motion movements while still keeping the wearer safe. A polarizing plexalloy visor makes explosions and other bright flashes bearable though still nauseating.

A lightly padded and insulated amorweave body glove that covers the wearer from the ankles to the neck assists with both heat retention and cold mitigation as well as the ability to protect the wearer from low-velocity shrapnel, glancing vibroblade attacks, and a single blaster pistol bolt (per limb). All stopped attacks to the body glove will deliver some kind of bleed through damage to the wearer and protection does NOT stack with the armored plates. The body glove is also water resistant and sealed however long periods of water exposure are not recommended and vacuum exposure is entirely not recommended. Jerec's armor is also equipped with an Auditory Frequency Modulator chip.

Stats

Heavy Blasters: Two (2) hits on plates

Blasters: Three (3) hits on plates
.

Vibroblades: Three (3) direct hits on torso/shoulder plates and Two (2) on auxiliary plates

Functions

Function 1: Integrated Heads-Up Display

    • Jerec's armor is outfitted with a basic HUD capable of temperature and environmental readouts, a 6x Rangefiner, 2x Night vision, an internal compass, and an internally encrypted long range comm-link. An exterior helmet light located on the left side of the helmet can be activated by firmly clicking the button located on its surface and can switch between a standard beam or a strobe feature. The wrist mounted weapon of choice can be controlled by the HUD via voice commands or manually. The helmet has extremely limited EMP protection capable of saving only the users comm-link and helmet light.
Function 2: Atmospheric Adapter Unit

    • Jerec's helmet features a small atmosphere capsule and a CO2 recycling unit capable of providing him with up to 10 minutes of oxygen in a hostile environment such as underwater or on a toxic planet. The capsule is easily replaceable and can swapped out for a new one in the field. The unit is automatically activated when the users HUD gives Jerec an inhospitable atmosphere warning but can also be activated/deactivated via voice commands.
Function 3: Wrist Mounted Weapon Hardpoint

    • Jerec's armor is outfitted with a single wrist mounted weapon hard point capable of mounting several types of wrist mounted weapons. These options can range from a wrist mounted flamethrower with two (2) internal gel capsules, one wrist mounted rocket launcher with two (2) missiles, or a microfilament net launcher capable of being shot up to 15 meters and rated to capture a creature up to a Wookiee in size.

MMAP

MMAP stands for "Modular Marine Armor Prototype" and it's a very fitting name for such simple yet effective armor. Theed Arms took a break from creating things that kill people to create something that could possibly save them. Like many companies, Theed Arms attempted to capitalize on the war between the Sith and Republic by advertising their product(s) to mercenaries and bounty hunters rather than the factions themselves. Unfortunately the company had a relatively low standing and only a handful of factories on a single planet greatly extended production time. Currently the armor is more reasonably priced than other medium armors yet still costly compared to something such as Czerka's CZ-Rim Scout. With time Theed Arms has built up a rather large inventory and have slowly begun to build a name for themselves in the mid-rim thus attracting the attention of independent contractors and paramilitary organizations alike.

The MMAP set of armor was specially designed for marine type troops operating on the ground in wet enviroments (swamps, coastlines, etc.) and is extremely water-resistant thanks to its plastoid composition. The plates are crafted from a plastoid alloy making them much lighter than Durasteel at the cost of slightly less protection. The plates cover the users entire torso, shoulders, arms, forearms, upper thighs, and shins/calves as seen in the picture above and features a built in utility belt capable of storing ammunition, grenades, and more. The armor doesn't include a body glove however one can easily be worn underneath. The armor can be easily maintained and the plastoid plates can be easily painted for whatever reason. Overall the armor provides adequate protection and extreme mobility due to the lack of armor on the legs making this set of armor perfect for PC's/NPC's taking part in an amphibious assault.

Function 1: Highly Modifiable Integrated HUD

    • The MMAP set of armor features a highly modifiable HUD in the helmet that can be rearranged however the wearer pleases and operated via voice commands or blinking patterns. By default the HUD comes with a 4x Rangefiner, an internal comm-link, an internal compass, and 2x Night vision. With the proper amount of credits and a good armor technician, additional HUD features can be swapped with one another such as trading 2x night vision for 2x thermal vision or a 4x Rangefinder for a 6x Rangefinder. The helmet features no EMP resistance by default.
Function 2: Basic Air Filtration

    • The MMAP helmet features a basic air filter with an oxygen capsule capable of providing the user with fresh air for up to twenty minutes. The air filter is designed to filter smoke and other contaminants such as non-lethal and lethal gasses however the quality of oxygen inside the helmet will be greatly reduced the longer it has to filter. Not recommended for more than very brief underwater use.
Function 3: Modular Back Hardpoint

    • The back of the armor is made up of a modular Durasteel system which allows the switching of dedicated kits. Which are so far limited to things such as a Standard Infantry Pack, Medic Pack, Jetpack or Communications Unit.

These armors do not qualify as generitech, and will need to be submitted through the tech boards for approval before use.
