Grifter, thief, charlatan, scoundrel, no matter how one chooses to describe her, Grier is a woman of cunning intellect and dubious talent. Born into a family of menial stature, she traded conventional education for one tailored to the finer points of larceny. Raised by a taciturn, yet benevolent father, she is well acquainted with the vagabond lifestyle her career often necessitates.
Mingling roguish wiles with sophisticated airs and rapier wit, Grier is a connoisseur of the eclectic, and endlessly fascinated by the esoteric. Guided by malleable interests and insatiable curiosity, she has woven a meandering path from one end of the galaxy to the other. A path which shows little sign of changing course.

Never a proponent for unnecessary violence, - avoiding it at all costs if it can be helped - Grier is most skilled at employing the more subtle arts of subterfuge and misdirection. Raised on values that many would consider less than appropriate, her talent for swindling others developed in adolescence, and has remained a pervasive skill upon which she stakes her livelihood.
Maligned by her victims, who have been heard to quip that she could "sell a drowning man water", Grier lives a transient life of solitude, seldom settling in any one place for any meaningful length of time. She prefers to travel light, typically sans companionship, and tends to make her home in nondescript locales while planning her next move. This is not to infer that she lacks social skills or is otherwise socially cloistered - quite the opposite in fact.
Indeed, Grier's career oft necessitates a certain propensity for gregarious behavior, and she excels at forging bonds with others; albeit fleeting ones contrived entirely for her own nefarious purposes. She keeps few friends, trading lasting relationships for casual acquaintances, most of whom she buys or haggles for as if they were any other commodity.
Beyond her more scandalous exploits, Grier possesses a worldly intellect shaped by years of immersion among the galaxy's myriad peoples. She is an accomplished polyglot and can claim fluency in several alien dialects including Huttese, Dosh, Shyriiwook and Bocce. Of her various skill though, music is among those few about which Grier is most passionate. Self taught for the most part, she is a remarkable violinist and enjoys spending her free time writing and playing music; most of which is inspired by the people or places she visits during her travels. -
