NEIMODIA, LOCAL TIME: 1312 PM

Muith Chekaik, the senator of Neimoidia and the newest member of this United Protectorate. Darth Victress said to herself mentally, glancing at the datapad in front of her that contained a majority of his information including his recent voting preferences and detailed knowledge of his background. She had prepared for this meeting, after all, tides in the galaxy had recently shifted and with the temporary cease fire culminating between the Empire and Mandalorians, there would be new avenues for the Councillor of Military offense to explore.

The large executive chambers were empty, save for several holoprojectors that housed several key diagrams and figures; she was clad in her usual Black Hades, a sea of shadows manufactured around the blessed armor as it force forged essence twinkled within the dimly lit room. Lights momentarily flickered, echoing a wail of tortured souls and plunged the chamber with an almost, unnatural chilling cold.
Darth Victress' aura was intimidating and powerful, it would serve to remind the senator that even despite the protections of government and bureaucracy, there were simply some things that would remain beyond his power.

Darth Victress in her armored figure stood near the windows, glancing around the flora and bustling metropolis of Neimodia underneath their government compound. Doors behind her whisked open, and while the Darth did not turn to face him, she merely responded. Her voice was unwelcoming and robotic, almost corrupted even as it leaked from behind the duraplast helm.

"Greetings Senator..."

Markov arrived on his personal vessel onto Neimodia. He was here upon his Master’s request to finalize on some diplomatic routing. He soon met with Darth Victress, bowing quickly before walking beside her. He liked the idea of a Mandolorian Sith cease fire, but he despised the so called United Protectorate, personally. Perhaps the new agreement could lead to Markov’s agenda furthering. He then realized that his father may re-enter politics, and that could make himself look horrible or help him; a hit or miss, but today was to persuade another senator .

The dark energy of Victress was foreboding as her apprentice’s energy flavored it ever-so much. He walked beside her as they entered the meeting room, his armor glistening and his lightsaber hilts clinking upon his torso before he stopped his movement, seeing the Senator: Chekaik

“Hello... Senator... thank you for having us here...”

The livelihood of the outside from the windows was grand as Markov eyed them as he waited for their meeting to officially begin. The scene had been set, and diplomacy was about to begin.

With being the new senator of Neimoidia came the new job details that came with it. He was to listen to everyone's arguments from those of his own society and outsiders alike. All striving to have their voices heard and their ideas acknowledged. While the Neimoidian expected to be swamped with meetings that had him engage with Senators from other planets. He was not expecting to be holding a meeting with a couple of Sith. Now naturally the alien being has a thought or two that are against the Empire and their soldiers. But that will not stop the aging being from hearing their thoughts. After all that is part of his job.

But what was it that these two guests are wanting to talk about? The message from Darth Victress was a bit vague. No hint as to what she wanted to talk to him about. Despite that Muith agreed to meet with her and her partner.

As soon as the two arrived, Muith's aid came to alert him. The look on her face being that of fear. Yes, the Sith can be intimidating. But Muith is not one who will cower easily. He didn't come this far just to be easily intimidated by another person. Especially a Sith. One who is easily intimidated by others will not get as far as he has so far, "I see. Well best not to keep them waiting." Muith will say quietly after he was told of the arrival. Placing his hands on the desk the reptilian humanoid rose from his seat. The walk to the meeting room is not that far of a walk, just down the corridor that was lightly decorated. Mostly with plants native to the planet.

Stepping through the doorway, the Senator felt the familiar chill the two visitors caused, as though all the warmth and happiness was pushed out of the room. Taking a deep breath Muith pushed the negative thoughts out of his mind, focusing only on the task at hand. His reddish orange eyes focused on Victress and Markov, "Good evening. It is my pleasure to have you two here today." Muith will respond to Markus and his superior in greeting before turning his attention to the Darth, "Forgive me Darth Victress. But what is it that has given you cause to come here today? You're message lacked details as to why and as you may say has left me curious." The humanoid will say as he took a seat on one of the chairs across from the two Sith. Looking to his assistant he will wave her away seeing how uncomfortable she is, "Everything will be alright. You may go home now." He will tell the younger Neimoidian before turning his focus back to the visitors. The humanoid blinked his reptilian eyes as he waited for the Darth to explain why they are here today.

Darth Victress smirked as the Senator made his presence known, her chilling aura seemingly welcoming him into the chamber. It was an interesting spectacle, though deep in the back of her mind she had already set her agenda for the afternoon and would see to execute it towards the Neimodian. Her armored figure moved closer to him as he stepped into the room, and while he was apparently confused as to her presence, the councilor knew full well her clear intentions as to their encounter.

Voice robotic and corrupted as it exited from behind the helm, she chuckled before speaking.
"You don't remember me do you?" She asked. Darth Victress folded her arms across the chest and stood confidently near the guest chair and tables, green eyes shifting colors to a golden hue as it was apparent a pulsatile wave of dark energy channeled through her veins. It was a surreal darkness, but one that would remind those who gathered that this was a Darth speaking to them. "We met years ago Senator, though I was a mere acolyte and you were nothing more than a state representative...I have followed your career since then." She said, moving slightly closer and claiming a seat for herself.

Darth Victress tilted her head into an arrogant angle, wondering if he would interject with a remembrance of their initial meeting or whether he would simply just assume her facts as truth. "You have more than hundreds of requests per day since claiming this position, though you made time for us. I don't think I need to remind you of your importance as one of the few neutrally aligned planets in core space, and I'm also certain, you don't need to know why good relations with the commander of Imperial forces would be beneficial to your planet..." She stated, an undertone evident in her voice but one that allowed the Senator to slowly piece together information as he chose fit. She knew he was an intelligent man, and the premise of their meeting was clear to the both of them.

Armored fingers slowly played with the ornamental pieces on the coffee table next to her,
Darth Victress slowly turning her gaze back towards Muith. "What did you think of this United Protectorate arrangement?" She asked, wanting to get to know his opinion on the matter. After all, if they were to discuss business, it should start at the beginning.

Muith pondered on who this person was behind the armor. A long finger caressed his chin as the humanoid sorted through his memories. Yes he remembers a certain acolyte but is she the one that he had met all those years ago? He doubted that was possible. His reptilian eyes remained fixed on the Darth as he sorted his memories, trying to get a clear image of the Imperial he was speaking to all them years ago. Yes, like the Darth the person he was talking to was a young woman. But is Victress the same woman?

Unless he saw her face it is hard to say if this is the same one. Her voice doesn't sound the same. Yes she has that coldness in her voice. But then so do all those that serve the Empire. Perhaps she is lying to get closer to him.

Perhaps two can play at this game.

The Neimoidian put a hand down onto the table, "I am afraid Darth Victress that I have no memory of ever meeting you. I have met so many in my time that it is hard to recall, with your face being covered, if I have indeed met you. After all you can merely be saying you have met me to secure a false familiarity with me by making such a claim." Muith told the Sith as he leaned back in his seat with his hands remaining on the table. His eyes remaining fixed on the woman, "But I will accept the possibility that I may have met you at one point or another."

Tilting his head as he listened to Victress, he knew in some areas she is right. Blinking slowly he pieced together what she is telling him. Yes there are benefits to both outsiders and his planet with him being a neutrally aligned senator. But just as equally it can prove to be dangerous for his people if he isn't careful with how close he lets other parties affect his votes. He has to be careful with his decisions.

Now it is his turn to speak his mind. The humanoid took a breath, fixating his gaze from the ornament she was dancing her fingers around on to her armored face, "I like the idea of the United Protectorate. It gives us senators a chance to speak about the concerns of the commoners who often get ignored. Especially during this hard time with the war going on. The people have a lot that they would like to see expressed. For too long the people have been ignored either accidentally or on purpose." The Neimoidian blinked as he turned his gaze to the window for a second or two, "It is my intention to make sure those voices are heard. That decisions and laws are made that will benefit the commoners." He will say as his eyes went back to Victress.
