There was an old expression that made its way across the galaxy; there's no place like home. While no doubt true enough for most, in Larissa's case, it took on a whole new level meaning.

In spite of having been to an impressive number of locations around the galaxy, Larissa hadn't actually been a padawan for very long. In her newfound duties, she'd come to learn more and more that greater responsibilities were being required of her, and more than anything, she wanted to be up to the task, whatever form it would take. But Larissa also didn't want to neglect the need to take time for herself, to embrace solace and the pleasure of serenity. It was all too easily forgotten, especially in turbulent times. That being said, in her case, it was as she were doing both at once.

Larissa had always been passionate about life, in all its forms. That included plant life, which endlessly astonished the Wrean as she had to get used to the idea of plants thriving in ecosystems outside of oceans. Gone now were her formal Jedi robes, the veil that shielded her eyes and even her lightsaber. Instead, she wore her more simplistic, traditional Wrean attire, and did one of the many things that brought her peace of mind.

With a small caveat, that is.

Ithor was abundant with wildlife, both flora and fauna. Ferns, flowers, trees and bushes, together with every kind of grass and algae, all with their own aromas and unique appearances, stunning to behold in their own right. A smirk worked its way onto Larissa's face as she pruned a nightshade plant. The flowers that had been budding on it were a deep and darkened shade of lavender, with streaks of goldenrod on the interior petals. As Larissa had been tending to the plant, several of the buds had yet to bloom.

It was always in Larissa's nature to blur the line between learning and relaxation, and this time was no different. Inhaling deeply before exhaling slowly and deliberately, the young padawan closed her eyes and brought her hands around a single bud. Larissa had read and listened to lessons and lectures before, but she had been eager to find opportunities to put such things into practice, to see its results for herself, firsthand.

Furrowing her brow with effort, the young Wrean steadied her breathing as she both attempted to 'let go', a concept she was still yearning to understand, and direct her efforts at the same time. She knew and remembered the instructions she'd received, allowing the Living Force to ebb and flow through one's self like a conduit. It was not meant to be controlled, only directed, guided. Feel the warmth, the life and the energy all about, feel it channel and all its vibrancy, and then...

Larissa exhaled slowly again and opened her eyes, looking down to see the bud now fully bloomed. Even she couldn't contain her sheer elated state, smiling in full excitement and satisfaction. It was a farcry from what she had known fully-fledged Jedi Knights and Masters were capable of, but it was a first step. And all things worth learning always began with first steps.

Out of all the places Rohana had visited, Ithor was by far the most tranquil. The jungle landscape was reminiscent to that of her homeworld, the Inner Rim planet of Onderon. Years had passed now since Rohana's self-imposed exile; loss had driven her to abandon everything and start anew, to seek out (what she felt to be) her destiny. The Jedi. The Force had proved willing and now the noble counted herself amongst the Order's ranks. A humble padawan, for now at least.

To become a champion of light, Rohana hoped to forge herself into a crusader. Where other Jedi dedicated themselves to more humanitarian endeavors, Feyre sought more practical methods. She wanted to explore the Force, to master it and channel it in aid of her efforts. Such things took time, as well as practice. And so, Rohana was directed here to meet with a fellow padawan; it wasn't uncommon for fellow Jedi to join in their efforts, especially if they shared the same goal. Truthfully though, Rohana wasn't well known for her cooperative nature, many found Feyre to be cold and otherwise stern. To those that irked her, she was downright insulting.

Having never met or heard much of Larissa, Feyre reserved her right to judge. Introductions would dictate the rest...if they could get underway.

With such a lush, living environment surrounding her, Rohana was having some trouble pinning down Larissa's location; everything looked the same, with no immediate path in sight. Being in no rush, however, the noble ambled on as if taking a leisurely stroll. When was the last time things were peaceful enough that you could enjoy some flowers?
