HISTORY:
Grawll Mei was born on Togoria in a relatively small village. In his younger years he lived without really knowing his father. His father was a nomadic hunter, and the young cub remained home with his mother. While Grawll was raised by his mother, he learned about the culture of his species. The people of the village raise and educated him until he had reach the hunting age. The young Togorian was taught by his father in the art of hunting. The youth was given a mosgoth as a ride, and his father took him on a test of prowess. During this trip, Grawll learned not only how to hunt and fight, but how to survive on his own. His father did not give his son any form of easy travel during hunts. If a liphon attacked, the youth had to defend himself. This training was difficult and almost resulted in his death. However, the results were worth the trouble; in the following years, he received awards and commendations for his prowess in hunting. While his name did not become legendary, he was well known by many of the great hunters of Togoria.

At first Grawll never meant to leave his home planet. Unfortunately he found himself being shipped off the planet unwillingly. On day of misfortune, he came across a small village being raided by off planet pirates. In order to maintain his honor, he aided in the defense of the town. While his attacks were savage and intimidating, the pirates were prepared to deal with the strength and size of his species. His efforts were made in vain. The village crumbled under the attack and the males present were taken for slavery. Grawll survived the raid, but he was one of the captives taken. This unhappy occurrence was the last time he stood on his home world.

The misfortune of the Togorian was short lived. Only a few weeks after his abduction, the ship attempted to pass through Republic space unseen. The suspicious vessel was stopped by a Republic Navy patrol craft and boarded. Combat ensued from that moment. While the patrol vessel was destroyed, the pirate vessel could not escape before it was overpowered. The pirates were taken captive and the prisoners were released. Grawll chose not to return to his home; he feared that his capture would have ruined his honor. If so, he could never return home and live the life he once had. Instead of taking the path of humility, he chose to continue his life in the Republic. He ventured to Coruscant and began his new life their.

While Grawll was not educated for a high paying job, he was capable of doing manual labor that most beings couldn't. He used his strength and height to move objects that machines moved slower and less effectively. His work involved loading and unloading small freighter and doing various hanger duties. He learned quickly how to pilot a ship during his work and used this newfound skill to earn more credits. Even though he found himself doing two jobs, he did have some free time. In this time he attended a specialized fighting class. The formalized style of combat intrigued him; it was radically different from the style of fighting back at his home. He also became very interested in the slugthrower weapons he saw being carried by Republic security forces. These two combat interests led him to the skills he currently has.

After a few years of working on Coruscant, he finally made a contract with an interplanetary shipping agency to pilot one of their ships. This profession suited the Togorian, though his honor got the best of him. One day when he was exporting goods from Alderaan he received word that some prisoners has escaped from the Alderaan Penitentiary. At first he was not terribly worried; however, it did not take long for him to realize that the convicts were the pirates that had attacked and captured him. Instantly on hearing the names and description of the escapees, he turned back to the planet. The surrounding co-pilots refused to stop him in fear of his intimidating size and acted as if he had done nothing out of the ordinary. Ignoring standard law, the Togorain switched the communications frequency to the police line. By the time he had reentered atmosphere, an update on the pirate's position had been confirmed. Without any hesitation, the large cargo vessel changed toward the convict's location. The escapees were trying to escape in a small ship. Against the judgement of the entire crew and members of the cockpit, the hundred meter long bulk freighter sped into the escaping vessel as it attempted to escape. The large cargo ship was clearly totaled and the starport was damaged. Many of the charging ship's crew were mortally injured from the attack; Grawll survived the impact with multiple broken bones.

After this vigilante action, the Alderaan court system sent the Togorian to life imprisonment. He was charged with multiple counts of manslaughter and second degree murder. He currently remains in the maximum security facility on Alderaan and has no hope for any form of escape. However, this does not seem to keep him from trying.
