In the Summer of 2007, we managed to finish one. And I think some of the previous ones also managed to end. We simply need to figure out what went right with them and what went wrong with the others.
I wouldn't mind running it again if enough people were interested (although I'd quite like to participate in it...it might not be out of the question to do both). If it was done again, I'd stick to the last system, as we did get to the final. It was simple, the only changeable thing being the location, with no special restrictions or the like. Also the warning system did, in the early rounds, keep it active and stop Gmodding and cheating.
I think there'll be a restriction on who I let in. If you were disqualified from the last one, then you'll only be allowed in if nobody else wants your spot, and so too would warnings vote against you. That way, people who have been inactive/Gmodded in the past would not automatically get into this one via the "1st come 1st serve' policy that would apply to all those who received no warnings or disqualifications in the first one. I'll also say no Padawan level chars, as even though in freeform it shouldn't matter as much, a padawan is just going to be fodder for more senior chars. Also, not meaning to discriminate, but newer members might not be let in, simply because they aren't used to the style of RPing here and a hell of a lot of them just disappear after a few weeks.
What would be a good lower limit for newer members? Would it be post based or time based or some mixture of both of them combined in some way? Maybe months times posts to get some score and there would be a minimum score

I suppose that would be a good idea as long as no one felt that their credentials were better than someone who did get in. In that case, objective limits might help as it would be hard to judge them as partial.
