PERSONALITY:
He is an idealist, strong as the leader of the Grey Jedi. He is intelligent and does prefer to think things through before making a decision. He is pleased that the Grey Jedi have given him a purpose in life and holds every memeber dear to him.
HISTORY:
Found by the Jedi before his first birthday, he has no memory of his biological parents; he never even asked where he was found. He grew up on Ossus, a very talented, but shy, boy, he was taken at the age of twelve by a talented Jedi Master. His training was intense, but he learned very well for six years, until he was eighteen. He then began his Jedi trials, which he excelled at, being knighted by his nineteenth birthday. That same year, his master, his only knowledge of a parent, left the order; not for the dark side or any other awful reason, but simply because he no longer found solace in the Jedi Order, and he became a grey Jedi. For two years, Gerard excelled as a Jedi Knight, causing the council to take note of his name. Searching for answers in his master’s departure, he tracked him down.
Finding him, in his self proclaimed exile, on Tatooine, deep in the deserts, learning more of the Force, he confronted him. His master advised him and gave him a parting gift, his double bladed lightsaber and a holocron which he said to be an heirloom of various “lost” Jedi and Sith, with great teachings of light and dark. He said everyone who had used it had added their own teaching and past it on, and now it was the next person’s time to have it. He implored him to study it as a neutral, claiming, in his last words to him, that nobody could master the Force truly without knowing all of its natures. Gerard returned to the council, keeping the holocron a secret, and announced his own exile. For the last two years he has been learning of the Force, operating in whatever capacity could earn him enough to stay in the galaxy and maintain his search of Force teachings. As a grey Jedi, he does not see crime as a Jedi, and is known as a Bounty Hunter and Assassin in certain parts of the galaxy; he has also smuggled for money. He does not only operate for money; he will never take a mission that involves death or destruction for no reason, he kills those who deserve it, he would not smuggle for the rich to gain, but for the starving or needy.
