*The time had finally come and it had passed, the experiments successful. An unborn abomination had been placed inside the womb of the Supreme Chancellor's daughter, this imp created from the combined DNA of the Supreme Chancellor's Daughter and the High Priest of the Bendu Order. After genetic tampering, the gestation period become nine weeks as opposed to nine months. For nine long and tedious weeks did he watch as Isabella Dashin's womb grew larger and larger by the day, as did the pain she endured due to the tampering and experiments he performed on her during that time. When the demon was finally ready to enter into this world, he delivered the child while enduring the moans and roaring coming from the victim due to the painful childbirth she endured. When it was over, he used a specially created serum to block all memories of everything after she was kidnapped. It would wear out, eventually, but by that time he would be far away from the Galactic Republic and the Bendu Order. The child in an incubation chamber, he carried the unconscious body of Isabella Dashin into a small shuttlecraft on the southern most landing pad of his Mustafarian complex and placed her inside. Unclothed, her naked body revealed scars and burns throughout from the harsh experiments and trauma she had recieved. Also within the shuttle was a small transmitter set on a stolen Bendu frequency so that it would emit a signal only to the Bendu flagship. He had no further use for this woman, so he would return her to Ussej Padric Bac III. As he stepped away, the shuttle rose into the Mustafarian night and placed away towards deep space for the Bendu to find.*

*Be calm, center yourself, become passive, feel the Force of Others flowing throughout you. The words flooded through his mind over and over as he thought heavily on the future. He was now at a crossroads at his life, and he didn't know what to do. The crusade against the Jedi Order now seemed more wrong than it ever had before, though he knew that he had to continue. The Bendu Order was depending on him and he would be damned if he were to turn against his own people.

Standing up, he walked over to the window and stared towards the stars. Months ago he had found the position of the star that heated Kal’Shabbol, and every time he looked at it he felt comforted. Knowing that his home was still there brought tears of joy to his eyes each and every day, and he would give anything to always hold on to that feeling. But, now his concentration was broken. The tractor beam on his vessel locked onto a small shuttle floating helplessly in space and he knew not what to make of it.*

“Bac to the bridge. What’s going on?”

“There’s one faint life sign aboard that shuttle, Sir Bac,” the voice on the other end told him. “It’s a human female, and she’s unconscious.”

“I’ll meet it at the shuttle bay.”

*Stepping out of his quarters, he sprinted towards the turboshaft that brought him swiftly down to the shuttle bay. As he stepped in, guards had already positioned themselves around the shuttle. Moving up against it, he pulled his sword from its sheath with one hand as the other opened the shuttle door. But, when he saw who was inside he dropped his sword and fell forward in shock, those his outstretched hands broke his fall against the shuttle. This was a day he never expected to come, as the woman that lied within the shuttle was supposed to be dead.*

“Bella....”

*He stepped towards the wall, collecting himself. Moments later, a pressed the communicator on the wall hoping that help would come very soon.*

“Medical emergency in shuttle bay four. We have a woman in critical condition that needs to be moved to the medical wing, stat. Second, bridge, send a message to Kalel Kitsune telling him to meet us here. He’ll know how to find us. If he asks why, just tell him that Isabella is alive. I repeat, Isabella is alive.”

ooc: I decided I'd write a novel.

ic: "Folly," he thought, it was a stupid and incredulous thing to believe. To have even thought of it was a disgrace to anyone intelligent or with enough common sense to fire a blaster pistol at a wall. But, what if? Could it possibly be true? Could he have a pure sabacc? All he had to do was turn up a three, and it was all over. The sabacc pot would be his, adding five thousand credits to the already large pile of credit chips sitting in front of him.

Sure enough, there it was. Without even a change of expression, keeping his mouth straight, no smile, no smirk, he raised his gaze up to the four other players sitting around him and spoke in an incredibly even voice, "coming up." He then put his hand face up on the table, a perfect twenty-three. "Sabacc," he said, his tone even. The other players gawked and stared in amazement, one of them even getting up in a fit of anger and leaving the table. He decided it was enough and got up himself, collecting his earnings and muttering his thanks to the great sportsmanship and turning away to leave the cantina.

Stepping outside his silver and gray robes billowed in the slight breeze of the cool and even daylight, Coruscant was such a waste of a planet, with all that machinery, but it was still as close to a home as he had had for quite some time. Afterall, he did meet her here.

Brushing back his dark hair he walked down the innumerable streets, his head down, gaze facing the ground, thinking back on days that had passed him by, days he wanted to forget, but didn't. As someone great once said 'it's better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all.' True enough. He would never forget her, not ever, her memory was what kept him going, kept him fighting against all the evils of this terrible excuse for a galaxy. Isabella Dashin, the only thing, the only person, he had ever truly loved.

Reaching the space ports he entered hangar bay marked A 0379, which currently housed a larger than usual starfighter, one that had been fitted with it's own hyperdrive and long distance comm channel. Luckily he had become adept to using such machinery, but he still hated the thing. He stepped up closer and pressed in the right buttons on the keypad, opening the hatch so he could climb in. Immediately, as if it had been waiting for him to return, the comm suddenly burst forth a static of noise.

"Kalel Kitsune? Kalel Kitsune, come in," an urgent male voice sounded.

He then flicked the switch, answering the call. "Yes, this is Kalel, go on," he said, with an expresisonless voice.

"This is the comm technician on the bridge of Ashla's Light, I was ordered by Ussej Padric Bac the third to contact you sir, it appears Ms. Isabella Dashin is alive. He wants you to come randezvous with our vessel to see for yourself, she has been brought aboard."

He was in shock. Folly... How could she, but he, no.. This had to be a trick of some kind, to perhaps lure him back out to his ship, to get revenge? Ussej wasn't that kind of man though, he was a fool, but not that much of a fool, was he? But, Issa being alive, how could it even be true? The Bendu had said he'd blown up the ship, killed both that Lettow bastard and his love, in a single fireball of debris..

"Sir? Sir are you there?" the man asked anxiously.

"I'm here.." was all Kalel could say at the moment, he was overwhelmed. If this was true, then he could have his love back, but if it wasn't, he was driving himself insane for no reason. But wasn't he already insane? It didn't matter, none of it mattered to him anymore, nothing but her. Nothing else mattered.

Suddenly shutting off the comm he kicked the engines online, and with a single tear streaking down his face Kalel hammered the ship out into the atmosphere of Coruscant, and out into the black void. As soon as he was out of the planet's pull, he slammed his forefinger on the button that sent his ship into hyperspace. The coordinates punched in for the location of Ashla's Light.

Hours later the streaks of blue reverted back to their normal shape, stars, and his ship had emerged from hyperspace. Not even paying attention as someone attempted to contact him on the comm with instructions to board Kalel just angled his craft in straight, going into the hangar he pleased and landing the ship as quickly as possible, not even shutting off the engines as he opened the hatch to get out. Argh, he had forgotten to undo the straps, and was temperarily restrained. Unclipping the belt he leaped out and onto the floor of the Bendu flagship.

As three people emerged from a nearby door Kalel ran up to meet them, gesturing with his hand for them to just shut up and listen to what he had to say, and throwing in a little Force persuasion. His skin was on fire, red hot anger searing through him, not directed toward any one or person, but to the galaxy, to the Force for not letting him in on this. For not letting him know first hand. His next words were said through clenched teeth, "take me to her, now."

*He stood outside the medical wing, waiting for Kalel to arrive. He knew not what would happen in the coming moments, but he knew that it would not be pleasent. Ussej and Kalel when they were in good moods was a terrifying idea, so it was no doubt that the two of them together when they were conflicted would prove to be destructive. The burn marks along the walls of the flagship were enough to prove that point. But, that was no matter to him now. Bella was alive, and he still wanted to be with her regardless of the relationship between her and Kalel. He would have to accept that they were destined to be together eventually, but as of right now he could not convince himself to do so. As he turned to look down a corridor, Kalel approached flanked by three armed Bendu Knights. He stepped out to great the Tribunal Knight, though he kept a safe distance. He was determined not to wind up in a medical bed, unlike his last encounter with Kalel Kitsune.*

"Kalel, thank the Force you're here. Bella is alive. She's being treated inside, though it will be a few minutes before we're allowed in. She's not entirely stable yet, and any interference could be detremental to her health."

Ussej.. That bastard, standing there looking so smug, or at least thats how Kalel interpretted it. Things in his mind were so skewed he couldn't discern the anxiousness in the Bendu's tone, and the expression in his eyes. All Kalel wanted was to cause him pain, to get back at him for the hell he had put him through. But Issa.. His gaze was drawn to the glass between himself and the bed in which she was lying down. He could feel, through the Force. Her pulse still weak, but she was alive. Issa was alive!

He wanted to bash down the door, walk up and embrace her, just to touch her skin, to smell her hair, to look into those gorgeous eyes one more time. To kiss those supple lips, to love with her again. "Issa.." he said, pressing his right hand against the glass, and reaching out to her with the Force, trying to let her know he was here. Here and waiting, waiting to be with her.

But the words of the Bendu Priest brought him back to the situation at hand. Turning his blue and silver eyes back to Ussej that anger came back in a flood, the levees had just broken loose. The Bendu was attempting to stay a good distance away from him it seemed, but Kalel didn't care, he stepped forward quickly, and with blinding speed threw a bone shattering punch straight to his face, the same cheek he had mashed in twice before. "You did this to her! You selfish bastard!" he bellowed.

Pain was the first thing she felt as the sound of voices and the beeping of various monitors could be heard around her. Unbearable pain was all that filled her mind as her eyes slowly began to open only to shut again quickly.

Bright light....

A very faint cry of pain escaped her lips as she tried to move and shield her eyes. Soothing voices could be heard as hands moved to push her gently back down in the bed.

Where am I? What's going on? she thought to herself as she heard voices speak though their words she couldn't completely understand.

Her confusion ended quickly though as she felt a pin prick in her flesh and then a surging feeling of warmth throughout her body. Darkness once again began to claim her. Mentally struggling to overcome it not wanting the drug to deny her answers, she felt herself helplessly drift away into sleep once again.

OOC: Many kudos guys...especially Kurt. I could see it playing out in my head with that post and know exactly what he was feeling. This is gonna be exciting.

*He rubbed his jaw, recoiling from the attack thrust upon him by the Tribunal Knight. It was expected, to be sure, but he still wasn't prepared for it. He understood where Kalel was coming from. The two were in love, and Kalel's soul had been thrown about enough during this ordeal to drive him crazy. But, that was where Kalel's arrogance and childish behavior came into play. Kalel knew that the High Priest loved Isabella as well, though instead of letting him explain that he would try to burry his feelings and back away the Tribunal Knight expressed anger and rage rather than understanding. A good person would have talked with someone they were in a love triangle with, not attacked them. That was where the two great warriors differed: two men loved the Chancellor's daughter, while only one could have her but unlike the High Priest the Tribunal Knight took to violence, even though his life's work told him to not create violence. Hoping not to escalate the situation, he faced Kalel once more with a comforting smile upon his face.*

"Kalel, I know you'd like to think that this is my fault but please look past your anger and your rage and see the larger picture here. The only reason I was on Coruscant that night was because the Supreme Chancellor asked me to propose to her. She said no because she loved you, Kalel, and it wasn't until that moment did I understand that. From that moment on, I told myself that I would stay away for your sake. But, as I was walking back to my ship I saw that the window on the Supreme Chancellor's office had been shattered. When I got to the office, Lettow had already moved towards the window with her and he caught me off guard. I was thrust against the wall and by the time I was able to get up he was on the roof blasting away with his ship. Somehow when I fought him in the skies of Coruscant he faked that explosion. But, think of it this way: if I had not been there, this still would have happened. Either way, Bella would have been taken captive by that Sith abomination. No one is to blame for this but the Sith."

*Turning away, he walked over to the window and placed his fists up against it. Even in her battered state, she was still as beautiful as ever. But, it didn't matter anymore. She was Kalel's just as Kalel was hers. His head bowed, though he didn't make eye contact with Kalel.*

"Think of what she would want, Kalel. Do you really think she would want us arguing and fighting? What's going to happen if she finds out about how we nearly killed each other in these very halls? She's going to be ashamed of both of us. I regret everything that's happened, including that rediculous duel we had aboard this ship. I hope for your own sake and the sake of the woman you love that you regret all that has happened as well."

He stopped, just staring at Ussej. He couldn't be serious, couldn't really be attempting to justify this, couldn't be saying that it still would have happened, whether he was there or not. And proposing to Issa, to the woman he loved, and loved him back, that was ludacris. The Bendu was even more blind than he had thought. "Thats where you're wrong Ussej, this wouldn all have happened had you not been there. I wouldn't have believed she was dead! If I had been there, if I had been on Coruscant, the night he took her, I would have known, I would have felt her!" he said, raising his voice, his tone now abrasive. Ussej just didn't understand, he may love Issa in his own, strange way, but he had never spent the night with her, watched her sleep peacefully laying next to him, never heard her utter those three beautiful words to him "I love you," he never felt any of that.

Watching the Bendu press his fists against the glass a sliver of that anger melted away, only to be replaced by pity. Ussej didn't love Issa, he loved the idea of her, what she represented to him, it was his own sick way of dealing with his loneliness, or that was the only way Kalel could see it. But listening as he spoke once more, Kalel shook his head. "Would she want us arguing? No, but she would understand! I am battered and broken Ussej, I am not the man I once was, I don't ever think I can get that back again, Issa was, and is the only thing in this galaxy that I cared for. She kept me going, and, and when I thought she was gone, the floor fell out from under me, I had nothing left. And I don't regret anything."

Turning his gaze back to Issa, lying on the bed, he once again reached out through the Force, just to touch her aura, to feel the warmth in her body and soul. One more tear falling down his face. He just wanted to hold her, nothing else mattered, not Ussej, nothing in this galaxy would he want more, than just to touch her. He could forgive the Bendu, if only..

Calming down, Kalel sank to his knees, face covered by his hands. "When can I see her?" he asked, his voice filled with hurt.

*The last remarks sent the anger flowing through him. He had promised himself that this wouldn’t happen, but as he turned his head towards Kalel his eyes filled with hatred. He desperately wanted for this all to be put into the past, but Kalel had pushed him too far this time. He would no longer be the comforting voice of reason. No, he would be on the attack as well. For far too long had he had to stumble over his words while trying to explain himself to this pathetic waste of Force sensitivity. Never again would he be forced to do so, as the arrogance and naivety that the Tribunal Knight showed was cringe-worthy. It made his skin boil as his head spin when he spoke, and now he would force the young warrior onto the defensive. But, he then saw Kalel fall to his and put his face into his hands. But, what was not expected were the tears in his eyes. He had never thought he would see tears in the eyes of Kalel. He wanted to scream and he wanted to yell, but he couldn’t. He could kill a Jedi in cold blood, he could torture innocents and he could attempt to force the Jedi Order away from their mandate as guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy, but he could not even say an unkind word to Kalel Kitsune anymore. It was as if both of their worlds were crashing down around them, and it was time for the High Priest of the Bendu Order to begin atoning for his mistakes and his sins. He slid down to the floor, leaning his head back against the glass.*

“I wanted to tell you how angry I was. I wanted to tell you how I was tortured and how you didn’t have to live with the idea that you killed someone you cared greatly for. But, I can’t. In fact, I don’t want to. I no longer want to fight with you, Kalel. I want this all to end, and I’m going to allow it to end.”

*For this first time, he acknowledged that he truly did not love her and that it was simply the idea of being with someone else that he loved. She was the first woman that he ever cared for since Jana died and he simply used Bella to fill that empty void within his heart and, for a time, it worked. But, now, seeing her lying on a bed in a battered condition made him realize all of the mistakes he had made. It made him realize that although some things were not worth fighting for, he could no longer afford to fight for her. She was Kalels and finally, after months of despair, he accepted that. He wanted them to be happy, even if it meant his sorrow.*

“Go and see her, Kalel. She’s waiting for you.”

*He did not move. He simply sat there, staring off into the great unknown. He would not follow Kalel into the room, as he no longer had any reason to. Perhaps later, when she was well, he would apologize to her but, for now, it was not his time. It was Kalels and the High Priest respected that.*

He just sat there for a moment, listening to the Bendu talk, and then he realized something. They both felt sorrow, and it was selfish for him to have though himself the only one who could feel, the only one who could have cared. But he was wrong, Ussej was hurting too, maybe not as strongly just for Issa's sake, but they both had turned into wrecks, shells of the men they used to be. And now, it seemed they were both nearing an understanding of each other. Ussej was coming to terms with what happened, and what Kalel and the Chancelor's daughter meant to each other, and Kalel was realizing what this had all done to him, how he had become so blind to everything around him, and to other people's feelings.

Issa was just in the next room, and all he had wanted to do at first was tear the Bendu apart with his bare hands, his anger clouding his judgement, just like that day months ago when they had fought in this very ship, where they both almost killed each other.

At hearing the last of his words, Kalel then looked up, dropping his hands to the floor, Ussej said he could go in, he woudn't get in his way, just sat on the floor, just like he was. Maybe the two of them weren't so different afterall. Standing up he moved closer to the door which led into her room, stopping just infront of it he turned his silvery gaze to the Bendu, and spoke in a slow, and calming tone, "for what it's worth, I'm sorry Ussej.." Then pushed the door open with his left hand, and stepped in.

Docters were busy, running around and checking readings, IVs, all that technical stuff. As Kalel came into the room they turned to look at him, worried of what he would do, as they had heard loud shouts and yelling from both Ussej and him out in the halls. Though Kalel waved off their worries with his hand, his eyes dead set on Issa's motionless form. She was alive, this was real, it wasn't just another of his twisted dreams, Issa was alive. He then stepped up closer to the bed, putting his right hand on her's and bending down on his knees, so he could be level with her.

He shed one more tear as he reached out to her with the Force, trying to giver her some of his strength, as he moved his left hand now, over to her face, to stroke her cheek. "Issa, I'm here.."

Peaceful though she lay, her mind was a flurry of activity. Images flashed quickly through her mind though they made no sense. Yet, in the midst of all of the images, there was the one face that kept recurring and haunted her. Who was he? What was his name? Each time his face flashed before her eyes, she felt the stab of pain again and a deep rooted hatred for the man behind it.

Was he really behind it?

How could she know? Her mind was fuzzy and everything was so unclear. It was as if trying to stare at something beyond a dense fog. The further she tried to delve and seek the answers she so desperately desired, the more distant the images became. Such an image was playing before her now as she ran toward it.

I must know! I need to know what is happening...

As she ran toward the memory, she heard something behind her. It was faint, but still it was clear as a bell.

"Issa, I'm here.."

Stopping and turning to look behind her, she listened to see if she could hear it again. Was it really him? Was Kalel here somewhere? She turned around and called out to him.

Kalel...

Turning back to the image, she watched it disappear back into the haze of her mind...it was gone...just like the others. Fighting the urge to sit down and scream out in frustration, she turned back around to where she had heard his voice. He was here...he had to be here. Taking a step toward the direction in which she heard his voice though still unsure where it came from, she called out to him again.

"Kalel..." she uttered so quietly that it could barely be heard.

Hearing her speak his name, his breath escaped him. They were so close now, so close to getting everything back, to being together once more, but something was still wrong. Something had changed in her, her body ravished, as if someone had cut a hole into her womb, he could feel it. He could sense the damage done to her, both mentally and physically. Without even having to ask the docters. But he could help her, by giving her his strength through the Force, and helping her battle back those demons, she would be alright. They would be alright.

He could resume her training again too, teach her to fully become a hunter of the night, so stupid things like this would never happen again. She could be strong, stronger than him. If only she would open her eyes, if only she came back to him. So he reached into the Force once more, closing his eyes and concentrating on just the two of them, the only two in the galaxy. Felt both of their signatures, her's weak and almost stagnant, but his stronger than ever, because it needed to be. He then threw himself into, fully, plugging his nose and diving into the waters, reaching out his hand to her, to pull her back out.

"Open your eyes baby, please, just open your beautiful eyes," he said, rubbing the back of her hand with his own.

There was no mistaking it this time as she could hear his voice again. Where her footsteps had been slow, her pace now quickened. She wasn't dreaming it; he was nearby. She could even feel him reaching out to her through the fog. Tears of joy streamed down her face in her mind as her eyes slowly began to open and her hand weakly clasped his own.

"Kalel, you're really here," she said softly in a scratchy voice. "You're not a dream."

She flenched as the bright light from the medical room shone down into her sensitive eyes. However, it didn't stop her from struggling to open them fully to see him.

"The lights...too bright..." she uttered hoping someone would dim them.

Without a word, and without taking his eyes off her's Kalel threw back his right hand, popping the lights with the Force, which frightened some of the docters, but he didn't care. All he cared about was Issa, and now she was awake, awake and her eyes opening. The only light source left was the monitors and all that other gadget nonesense, and the light from their eyes, both sets of silver pupils. "How is that?" he asked.

Though without even giving her time to respond he began again, he just couldn't hold in his excitement. "She was alive!" he screamed to himself. "I thought I had lost you, for months I thought you were dead Issa." This all still seemed like a dream, but it was real, she was really lying before him, alive.

In her absense he had torn himself apart, becoming nothing more than a man an inch away from blowing up and taking all his rage out against anyone who had happened to be in his path. He had even killed a few people because of it. He was always thinking about her, what he could have done differently, how it felt to hold her in his arms, and the first night they had met.

She furrowed her eyebrows as she could finally look around the room and see the machines surrounding her.

"Where am I? What happened?"

She tried to sit up and winced in pain as her body protested to that movement. Bella tried to bite the pain back and turned her head to him studying his face. What was he talking about? He thought she was dead? Her mind struggled once again to piece the puzzle of what had happened.

"Months? No...that can't be right. Kalel, what's going on?"

Why couldn't she remember anything? The last thing she remembered was being at the apartments. Ussej had proposed to her and she had told him no. She had then rushed to her father's office demanding answers from him and all else seemed to blurr except...that face...

"I was on Coruscant...in my father's office..."

The monitors began to beep with the rise of her blood pressure as she struggled to remember and pushed her body further.

He leaned forward and squeezed her hand gently, just so damn happy she was awake and coherent. As she began to talk and question what was going on he stroked her cheek with his left hand and speaking in a worried but somewhat calm tone, "You're on Ussej's flagship, Ashla's Light, the docters here are caring for you, I'm caring for you."

Seeing the pain and confusion in her face though he tried to calm her through the Force, sending a cool wave over her mind, like a splash of gentle water over her face. "Back on Coruscant, you were captured by Darth Lettow, Ussej attempted to bring down the ship he took you in, but Lettow faked an explosion somehow, it made it look like the Bendu killed you and Lettow, Issa." He then sighed, looking behind him for a moment, and then back into her eyes. "I believed it too. I just, I just wish I could have been there, I would have felt if something had happened to you, and maybe I could have stopped all this from even happening. I'm so sorry Issa.."

Lettow...

The name was unfamiliar to her. He had used a different name, though she believed this Lettow was the one that haunted her mind. Parts of what had happened flooded back just prior to the explosion. She remembered her father being slammed against the wall as the dark clad figure came for her. Ussej had been there and tried to save her, but Lettow had fooled him. How was still hazy to her.

Feeling a sense of peace at finally knowing where she was and from the gentle touch of the Force from Kalel, she laid back down and looked at him witch concern. There was a mixture of joy, sadness and something else on his face. Reaching a hand up to touch his face, she shook her head no.

"You couldn't have done any more. Had you followed he probably would have tried to kill you. It's not your fault."

As she looked at her arm, she saw the bruising and burn marks upon her skin. What had he done to her? More importantly where were her father and Ussej?

"Kalel...my father...is he..." she couldn't bear to even finish that sentence. "He's alright isn't he? and Ussej?"

OOC: hehehe....wonder how he'll respond to that question

As she touched his face he smiled, her hands were warm, filled with life, life. He could still hardly believe it, he was still in a bit of shock at all of this. He couldn't even begin to imagine what Issa had to be going through, not remembering much of anything that had happened to her. Though by looking at her, he could tell terrible things had been done to her body.

Kalel then sighed as she spoke, she was probably right, there wasn't much he could have done, but he still would have felt better if he had been given the chance to try.

Listening to her ask about Ussej however, he cringed. That was one thing he didn't want to hear. "He's, he's fine at the moment," was all he could say. "And your father, as far as I know, he wasn't severely hurt." (Unless I'm sadly mistaken?)

OOC: You aren't...lol.

Bella had known that relations between Ussej and Kalel had never been good. Yet, the way he answered her question caused her to frown. Something had transpired between the two of them beyond a simple disagreement. Searching his eyes and hoping he would tell her, she tried to sit up again.

"At the moment? Kalel, what have you done? Tell me...please."

She knew how deep his feelings for her had run since he had taken her to his home world, Arcura. The memories of their time together there had never been forgotten by her. It was there their love had blossomed and she had found a new way of life. A life not controlled by the ideals her father had set before her, but her own life where she chose what she wanted...she had chosen to be with Kalel...to be his Arcura. When she had returned to Coruscant, she had planned to leave a message with her father saying her goodbyes and telling him all. So was the plan...yet things did not turn out as she had planned.

She and Ussej carried a bond as well...a deep friendship. He was not someone she could completely turn away from, yet her father had ruined everything with asking him to take her hand in marriage. She wondered just how much Kalel knew. Had Ussej told him everything? What had transpired after her 'death'?

What had he done? He went insane. He didn't want to tell her, because quite frankly, he was ashamed of himself, but in that hallway, just outside this very room, something had changed in him, and for once, it was for the good. So he decided to tell her everything, everything that had transpired bewteen Ussej and himself.

"Issa, when you, when we all thought you had died, and I was led to believe it was Ussej's doing, I did the first thing that came to mind, I headed straight for this ship, blinded, blinded by my rage and hatred," Kalel said, shifting into a more comfortable position, still looking directly into her eyes. "I took it all out on him, and after a rather heated argument, we fought, I almost killed him Issa, but I stopped myself, I realized it would not have been what you wanted, rather, it would have been a disgrace to your uh, your memory."

Just by looking at his face she would be able to tell he was ashamed, and even a little afraid of what she'd think about him after all this, he hoped she would understand how his feelings had effected him. "We both went our seperate ways after that.. Me going into a cycle of deep depression, Ussej, I don't know. All I know is that I'm glad you're alive, and I hope you can forgive me.. I've done so much wrong..."
