Hyperlane: Galtea Run and Trition Trade Route
Climate: Temperate across the entire planet though there is a far more tropical feel at the equator. There are two seasons planet wide, the rainy season and the dry season, though at the equator it is rainy more often than not.
Terrain: Forests, mountains and plains cover Galtea. The woodlands cover roughly 75% of the surface with a few wide open valleys dispersed throughout. A lengthy mountain range runs in a latitudinal pattern across the better portion of the northern hemisphere. There are several large crystal clear lakes within the mountain range and wide rivers course through the forests at the equator. The southern hemisphere is a fair balance of forests and plains.
Rotation: 22 standard hours with an orbital period of 277 local days.

Inhabitants: Human
Resources: Galtea is an undeveloped backwater planet. Though the potential exists for mining ventures as well as medicinal research and development, the inhabitants do not possess the knowledge nor technology for such undertakings.
Government: Tribal. Several small clans form one large tribe, the Amayi. If there are other people groups across the planet, they are unknown to one another due primarily to geographical barriers as well as the lack of technology.
Culture: The culture is largely patriarchal. The Amayi embrace traditional gender roles with men in leadership positions. Men are also primarily responsible for hunting as well as for the defense of their families. Women are gatherers and are responsible for raising children. They are a communal people, each relying on the other members of the tribe for survival. The Amayi are a deeply religious people with various gods. Their traditions are primarily oral in nature, having been passed from one generation to the next.
Points of Interest: The Amayi Community
History: Since their roots extend back centuries, the modern Amayi people group are uncertain of their origin hence they have held tightly to a creation story to explain their genesis. Their history has been passed from one generation to the next orally and so a written account has never been recorded.
Technology: None.
Intent: This planet has been used as a homeworld for my character Ayasha Waya and it is my intent to include it in a mission pack for the Galactic Alliance to establish a training grounds there.
