OOC: I shall be NPCing Titus' father in this thread.

The man that was Titus' father lightly tapped the wooden structure that held his sons lifeless body. This was a small gathering. Many of Titus' old friends did not want to risk being at a traitors funeral. The term traitor was being used lightly, Titus was no traitor. He was a Mandalorian Loyalist and he was doing his duty. He died a Mandalorian Loyalist, and despite their political differences, he died a Mandalorian and that is all his father ever hoped for.

There were three people there besides him, only two of the others were Mandalorians. Cabur Ordo, Lucius Veshok, and Alchamy Ruaca and her father. He looked down at his sons body wrapped up in clothe so no one had to see Titus' disfigured body. Titus' father tried to stay strong, like his son did, but now tears started to flowed freely from his. "I'm sorry," he managed. He had a speech to give, and he would be damned if he didn't say his last words for his son.

Turning the the four people he began to speak, "I wish I knew my son better. I wish I hadn't cast me away when he proved to be far from the average Mandalorian." Titus' father crackled up at the last bit as images of Titus picking flowers. "I think that him being far from average set him out from most of the others. Titus was destined for important things, I see that now. I should have been a better father, a better teacher. Truly he didn't need me, as he obviously did great things in his life."

Taking a deep breath to prevent himself from tears again, he continue, "I don't know if he was planning to kill Mandalore but honestly I couldn't give a ****. He was my son, and he made me proud. He always did what he believed in, and he fought hard." He turned his voice to almost a whisper before continuing, "I'm glad you lived."

Lifting up a torch tears began to flow freely once more. "Goodbye son," he said before tossing the torch onto his sons dead body. The hay around Titus lit up around him, and soon Titus did as well. This was the traditional Mandalorian funeral, and it was rather perfect. Titus' father turned to face the crowd and wiped away his tears.
