JEDHA
11:15

Shouts quarreled within a merchant's tent along the road of stalls and shops, the holy city in the backdrop. Heads turned toward the trouble, timid in their faith of the city's security. A bulky, bearded human stumbled backwards out of the tent, almost tripping on his own coattails, a half-sized older human wagging his finger out after him. He yelled something about never having sold liquor in his life, it being an evil drug, and threatened if he ever saw the big man again that he'd force him to bathe in the trough out back like the animal he is.

"Like I'd ever return to your shabby sock establishhment," Abe slurred with a wave of his flask, dousing the outer tent with a thin line of single malt. He blindly stepped backwards and looked to his flask, muttering a slur under his breath, "Ewok," kicking back a shot before realizing it only contained less than a sip left and bumped into someone.

NiJedha. Home. He was finally where he belonged once again, and the Holy City, was holy once again. After his... 'meeting' on Dubrillion, his mind was focused. He needed allies. Jedi who could vouch for him. He sensed one now. Not only with the Force, but with his ears. A dispute with a local merchant. Isaac moved with intent, placing himself to 'bump' into Abrakhal.

"Apologies, master jedi. If it's drink you want, I am on my way to Jukar's Cantina now, if you'd like to accompany me."

Abe whirled around gracelessly, left arm swinging back at Isaac in surprise.

"Wha," he coughed and dropped his canteen. "Master?" Abe frowned, eyes in a blur, as he found the man standing before him, talking to him, then looked down to the ground at the sound of his canteen having jumped out of his hand with a life all its own. Then, when he realized his lightsaber was dangling out in the light from his belt, Abe shut his coat closed. "Drink?" He was charmed just as quickly as he was agitated just before, freeing his coat open once more, revealing the unbuttoned shirt underneath. So he clumsily clapped a palm onto Isaac's shoulder with a moronic grin, returning his eyes up, swimming in drink. "Jukar's Cantina? Well that sounds just right! Haha! Jukar's Cantina! Now that sounds familiar. Sounds like a proper grogshop."

Abe wrapped his right arm behind Isaac to roughly drag him along in the wrong direction.

While Terria much preferred the company of her own thoughts and the peace of the wild, she wouldn't deny that she had a certain love for the cities and towns and hustle and bustle too. It was a good reminder of what she was fighting for and what she served, seeing people just walking around, buying food or other products, watching Mothers and their children, merchants making a living. There was something blissfully simple about it, not caring about what was going on beyond their own little spheres, just living. These were the people she aimed to protect, and though she never would have a life like theirs again, she wanted to make sure people in the future could.

She was sitting in the middle of a square in Jedha City while all these thoughts rolled around in her mind, just laying back on a bench with her arms buried in her robes, listening to stolen snaps of other people's lives as they moved around her. Slowly though, everyone else seemed to start fading, slowly being drowned out by a few choice keywords that made Terria's ears perk up. She opened her eyes and turned in the seat, looking behind her and spotting two figures talking. It wasn't difficult to see why she had zeroed in on them, given one had Jedi robes and the other was making a pretty poor attempt to hide his lightsaber. She couldn't help but chuckle at their words and stood, scurrying over to them as the more inebriated one started dragging the other in the completely opposite direction.

Terria quickly came up and ducked beneath the drunken one's left arm, wrapping it arounf her shoulders and steering the three of them further right, pulling them down the adjacent street.
"Actually friends, Jukar's is this way," She informed them politely, quickly brushing her white hair behind her ears and extending her free hand to them both. "Terria Cyrrl, nice to meet you both."

"Ah," Abe boisterously sighed as he easily veered in Terria's care, not so much as realizing his own arm had been secured around her neck with a groggy swing of his drooping chin to her and back. "Yes! This is my good friend," confused pause leading Abe to search out Terria's face for help, despite her just having introduced herself, "Erm," confused pause looking back to Isaac, "What was your name again?"

Richard approached with a rusty sort of walk, holding out a tin cup of potato shavings and half eaten bone meal mixed in dirty water, and with his monotoned, two-sound vocoder said, "Master, the swill you ordered."

"Terria," She slowly repeated back to him, patting him on the chest with an exasperated chuckle. This was a Jedi, and he was clearly drunk - those two things tended to not go hand in hand. Despite the fact that most Jedi abstained from such vices (not including herself), she was content to just sit back and enjoy the show until he passed out or did something that warranted serious intervention. Sure, she was only a Padawan, but at the end of the day, she was still a Jedi, and they had certain responsibilities to uphold, including playing chaperone to other Jedi. Slowly but surely, they started to move toward Jukar's, winding down the various streets and pathways while a droid joined up with them.

"I don't think he's in a position to take that right now Mr droid." She waved him off and took a brief moment to extend her hand for a shake. "I'm Terria, and you are?" She had never been much for droid helpers, always seemed a little too slavey for her liking. The only exception was Astro-droids and that was just because she hated the thought of flying blind in space. Moving on, they finally arrived at Jukar's Cantina and practically had to kick the door open to get the big lug in, setting him down at a small booth near the entrance. Terria flopped down beside him, leaning back and letting out an exhausted sigh. "You, my friend, are very heavy," She gasped, ordering water.

"Terria," he rehearsed, just as slowly. Then he gave a grisly grin to the old woman he passed who was wincing at his decrepit state and bad breath with a guttural and jolly, "That's terrific."

"Richard, at your service," the labor droid answered, almost saluting Terria as his rickety body jostled into attention, completely missing the handshake. But by the time it had finished the wave, Terria had already made some distance and Richard started into his steady gate, following slowly after them as he always does. And though he'd lose track of them, he'd eventually catch up and wait outside patiently.

With a thud, Abe's arms plopped down onto a table, his face bouncing off of himself as he realized his butt was now pinched in an uncomfortable position, sitting somewhere. He looked around from on top of his elbows, unable to see much of anything in his current state, and found the missing body of one of his new friends peculiar. He might've sworn he saw the man from under his right arm now speaking to someone behind a counter, when her voice recalled his attention left. He swooped left, low, eyes landing on her neck. He lifted, eyes to her nose, frowning a discerning curiosity that questioned her features through a smudged magnifying glass, held too closely.

"Ah. I am. Aren't I." He grinned with stench. Then he slammed his palm down onto the table loudly, continuing with, "Pure solid Abe. One hundred percent abs of muscle. You ever need a problem," he pointed a finger too closely in her face, "I've got you covered. These guyss here don't know anything. They're full of it. Everything they're saying, right here, is wrong. But you and me, Terreria and Ab-rack here," thumbs self, "know you," points her. "It's all about people, y'know? You. Me. We're here for each other. That's what it is. These people know me, all I've done for them, day in and day out. I help them, and that's what makes this all worth while. So, tell me what you are, Tierra. Who's behind the door?"

Oh dear, here it came. She had known people that had trouble holding their liquor in the past and, thankfully, he seemed to just be confined to jolly ramblings and muddled monologuing. There were people she'd seen climb on top of tables and start to dance, or even start fistfights because of a perceived slight. She figured it'd be best to humor him, get down closer to his level maybe, at least that way she could make sure she knew what he was talking about and also keep him from doing anything stupid. She didn't want to be one who orders her fellow Jedi around, but there were exceptions after all - probably a bad idea to stand up and start playing darts with a lightsaber for instance. She called a waiter over and ordered a Mandalorian Ale, watered down with blue milk - sounds horrible. Surprisingly, it isn't, it's like really strong vanilla.

If his little spiel told her anything, it was the fact that he thought highly of his abilities, and that he liked to help people. Not surprising considering him being a Jedi, but it was good to know that it seemingly wasn't just a smokescreen or a facsimile that he just wanted to believe. She remembered someone who had helped her on the homeworld, she seemed wise, patient, kind. Eventually, it turned out that she was inwardly selfish, hateful, bigoted, and even arrogant enough to challenge their local leader. It was funny what lay beneath the surface when all control was stripped away. Drunk people tended to loosen up and be more forthcoming, but even so, she started to consider challenging him later - you don't truly know someone until you fight them after all.

On the subject of her? She let out a soft sigh and let her finger circle her glass, mulling it over for a second.
"Me? Uh...I dunno to be honest, I just want to help people, I guess," She said, lifting the glass and taking a big glug of her drink, the sweet vanilla taste frothing down her throat like a cool helping of ice. "I spent most of my life feeling disconnected if that makes any sense. It wasn't until I left the homeworld, found the war, that I felt I belonged...then with the Jedi, it felt...I felt complete, despite the fact that my training has gone nowhere for the past few months."

Palm emphatically smacked the table. "I know exactly what you mean, Terreyah." He tried reaching for her drink after she'd made it look so good, maybe take a swig himself if he could, with a stuttering self correction, "Uh, Terria." He licked his lips with a cross-eyed and distraught frown, "Nothing made sense until I left my homefather. Uncle! Thought he could try to be my father. Act all tough. Order my face around. One, two. But I got him back. Bam. Bam. And I got outa there! Will was a good to me, if he wasn't such a womprat all the kniffing time. Don't know where he is now. He could be anywhere! What do I know? I don't know where! Could be anywhere! For all I care."

Abe's eyes started to wander, started to water. He rubbed at them with the back of his knuckle, one and then the other. "But you're here," he mumbled into his chest. "Have you been trained by anyone yet? Ooh! Has anyone taken you as their student? Like, Mastered you? Personally, I've found a liking to the group sessions better but I've always wondered what it would be like to have a Master. I s'pose it would feel much the same as it was with Will, if he were a Jedi." Chuckle. "The fool would make a good Jedi. Always knows what's best. Always his way. Always not good enough for him. Know what I mean, Terria?"

It took Abe a second to remember he'd asked Terria the question, returning to seek out her response. Though he was still slurring, his head still swooping with elbows still sprawled out, he was forming more complete sentences in his melancholy. Still unpredictably explosive in his animated responses, Abe settled in his words about Willhem. Normally he'd never have mentioned something about his past like this, if not for the drunken stupor he swam through.
