Open From Under the Cork Tree

Lux greatly enjoyed watching Ambrosia get down to business. It really confirmed the old adage don’t judge a book by its cover to her, seeing the small, somewhat timid-at-first woman just lay waste to the gangbanger trash that currently occupied their new base.

As Ambrosia fired off her blaster shots, Lux took the opposite approach, preferring to get into the thick of it with her own bare hands at first. She was never very good at shooting blasters, but what she was good at was about to become very evident if it wasn’t already.

Lux’s Firrerrian strength lent itself to melee combat quite effectively. Boosted by the force, she was a veritable murder machine. Closing in on a nearby Tunnel Snake that had just begun to raise his blaster to fire at Ambrosia, Lux grabbed him by the wrist with her right hand and used her left hand to jam directly into his elbow, bending it entirely in the wrong direction.

The sickening snap of the guy’s arm breaking brought a smirk to Lux’s face, and before he could start screaming too incessantly, Lux took out her own knife and slid it across the man’s throat.

Turning to find another Snake, Lux took her knife and hurled it through the air. It would land with a thwunk right in the forehead of another Snake. Rolling her eyes at how hapless all of these idiots seemed to be, Lux didn’t even notice the Snake coming towards her with a pool cue.

The Snake broke the cue across Lux’s back, which probably hurt more than anyone would expect.

Ah, fuck you!. she shouted, rounding on the guy who hit her so she could tear him limb from limb.

There weren’t nearly as many Snakes in the den now compared to when they’d first arrived. Hopefully Ambrosia could clear out the rest while Lux had some… intimate time with the one who dared whack her with a wooden stick.

[Ambrosia]

When Lux ran into the fray, Ambrosia decided to abandon the blaster for now. She wasn't the best shot either, and accidentally shooting her partner would be really, really inconvenient.

That being said, Ambrosia wasn't concerned for Lux - the woman could handle herself - and she focused entirely on addressing the unfortunate number of Snakes still slithering about the room. Using the Force to augment her body in a different way this time, the Arkanian offshoot dashed with inhumane speed toward the closest and struck the underside of his chin with her fist. It was an instant knockout for her victim and an instant bruise for her knuckle. The pain only served to invigorate the woman, and she dealt with the next few Snakes with the same brutal punches as before.

The next several minutes would leave several new stains splattered and scattered across the warehouse's floors, walls, and ceilings as the two Sith dealt with the pests infesting their new home. By the time the last Snake got his throat crushed by the heel of Ambrosia's boot, the woman was covered in blood - hers and others' - and breathing with heavy ups and downs of her chest. She barely had the words to speak and instead opted to summon a chair for her to collapse in. She fell back into it and stared wide-eyed up at the ceiling, adrenaline still coursing through her veins and a wild look still in her eyes.

"Blood." There was a dark stain on the ceiling above her. She didn't know if that was her or Lux's doing, but something about it looked so damn familiar. "It's pretty." It reminded her of- "Oh, that's right." She'd killed them, hadn't she? Who else had she killed? When else had she been so stained with blood?

"Some gang," the woman chuckled in between labored breaths, finally sitting straight up to look at wherever Lux was at that moment. "Couldn't even manage a two-v-two dozen." The wild look in the Arkanian's eye was fading, but she seemed to regard her with an intensity nonetheless. There was always something incredibly alluring about someone who could commit acts of violence so easily.

"You've got blood on your face," she added light-heartedly, knowing full well she had blood on hers too.

[Lux Avery]

As Lux turned to engage the pool cue swinger, the guy already looked like he was about to literally piss and shit himself. He swung the broken cue again in a vain attempt to ward Lux off, but it was of no use.

She caught the cue mid swing and wrenched it from the guy's hands. With a swift kick, Lux nailed the poor sod right in the nuts which caused him to double over. Taking the cue, and making sure to use the sharp end, Lux drove it into the back of the guy's head and directly through his brain until it came out the other side.

Finally turning to see what was left, Lux only found Ambrosia sitting in a chair, chest heaving up and down as she breathed. A sign of time well spent, generally speaking.

I imagine there are few out there that can handle you, little Lamb. Lux said with a smirk, wondering just how long Ambrosia was going to let her keep calling her that nickname. Hopefully forever, but Lux wasn't quite sure the pale Sith enjoyed the name as much as she did.

Walking up to Ambrosia, Lux flashed her a grin that showed the tips of her fanged canines before bending over and running her thumb along the girl's cheek.

So do you. She said, leaning in close enough that there faces were only a couple inches apart.

Lux would linger there for a moment, and if the mood seemed right, she wouldn't say no to kissing Ambrosia right here and right now.

But she wouldn't force it, no, that wasn't quite her style. If Lux didn't get the signal she was looking for, she would back off after a few moments to survey their handiwork.

Somebody should tell Tempest. But we should probably get droids in here to clean up first. A blood soaked shitbox probably wouldn't make a good first impression to the Dark Lord.

Pulling out her phone, Lux would start making the call to the Droid Cleaning Service.

Today had been a good day.

[Ambrosia]

The woman was not usually so forthright, but she was emboldened by the thrill of the fight and the adrenaline rushing through her. With Lux's face so close to hers, the desire that was only a thought before became an action. She leaned forward, hesitating for a few moments just to give Lux a chance to pull away, then pressed her lips firmly into the Firrerreo's. Her hand reached up to curl behind the woman's neck, pulling her closer and further into the kiss.

They didn't need to worry about Tempest or cleaning droids right now. There would be plenty of time for that later. Though maybe they could find another room. One with less blood of strangers.

Pulling away, Ambrosia would ask, "You wanna explore?" Clearly, she wasn't talking about the warehouse.

[Lux Avery]

There was no hesitation in the way that Lux returned Ambrosia's kiss. Her hands found their way into the girl's hair, Lux's fingers twirling strands between them before her fist closed just slightly, letting her pull on Ambrosia's hair playfully as she finally pulled away from their embrace.

Yes, little Lamb. Come with me.

Reaching down, Lux would softly grab Ambrosia's hand and pull her from the chair. Still holding onto her, Lux would lead the girl back to one of the side rooms she'd noticed when they'd first gone back to the room with the first idiots they'd killed.

Leading her into the room, Lux spotted a nearby couch and twirled Ambrosia into it before closing the door with her foot. Walking over, she straddled the girl's lap, and flashed her a smirk before pulling her shirt off, leaving coyness behind as the two Sith began their exploration.
