Rousing from his sleep, Cain sat up and found himself in a room he was unfamiliar with. It took him a moment to recall he had stayed at a hotel last night, as he couldn't handle settting foot in his home again. Slowly, he sat up, pausing as he noticed his dishevled self in the mirror. He had went to sleep in his clothes, which were wrinkled beyond all hopes of straightening and his hair was frayed to and fro. He reached into his pocket and withdrew his comm device. He couldn't stand another day on this planet, but he only had one ticket out of here. Flipping through the list of names, he settled on Giana's and sent her a message.
'Hey, can we meet up? I....need to ask a favor.'
With that he set the phone on the bed and put his face in his hands. This was going to take some time.

Giana was sitting on the edge of her bunk, with her legs dangling off of the sides. Everything that had happened, rattled her mind as she couldn't believe what had happened. A single tear went down her cheek as she though about the memories she'd had with Tamara and Cain. The tear fell from her cheek onto the floor below her. It almost seemed so far away, when it was truly only four feet to five feet from her feet.

All of a sudden, a beeping sound came from the console of her ship. She squeaked and was so startled, that she fell to the ground.

"What the hell?!"

she asked herself as she landed on the floor with a thump. She ran to the cockpit of her ship and picked up her comm link, hearing Cain's voice on the other end. A small smile came to her face as she responded.

"I can be there in a few minutes."

Then she tracked the coordinates of where he was located, putting them into her navigation computer before taking off into hyperspace. It didn't take long until she arrived at Corellia. She pulled her ship into a hanger bay and then contacted Cain again once again.

"Cain.. I'm on Corellia.. Where are you located? Where can I meet you?"

she asked and then waited for a response.

Hearing his comm device begin to beep, indicating a response, he picked it up. Hearing Giana's response, he set the device down and went to shower. Force knew he need it after all. The hot water felt good for a change, as the former padawan took a few moments to confine in himself. After washing off and straightening out his clothes the best he could, he heard his comm device beep again. He scooped it up off the bed and responded to Giana.
'I'm in a hotel right now. I'm sending you my location now.'
With that, he'd send his coordinates out to Giana, before sitting back on his bed and waiting. He hoped she wouldn't mind helping him out, he just couldn't stand this planet anymore. It was a constant reminder of the life he used to have. Cain took a moment to call down to the desk to let them know a friend of his was arriving, and after that laid back on the bed. He reached out his hand, and retracted his lightsaber into his palm. Feeling the cold metal against his hand, Cain raised it up above his head and looked at it. It used to mean something to him long ago. He had never taken the 'jedi' part of his life serious, and now maybe he understood why. He didn't want to be a jedi. He didn't want to abide by some dogma, some false set of ideas he didn't believe in. He wasn't going to be a blind believer in the same code that hundreds of other hive minded individuals followed. His face turned to that of anger, as he tossed the weapon away from his, causing it to clatter against the tile floor of the bathroom. He was a jedi no longer, for now on, he'd make his own destiny. As the tears began to form in his eyes, he gazed up at the ceiling, hoping that maybe his family would understand.

It hadn't been long since Giana had been on Corellia. It seemed like one of those days where she felt she hadn't been there in years and the other feeling was as if she lived here and saw the same thing everyday.. maybe it was because she had walked down this path nearly everytime she was there. Giana walked through the path and started just taking a small stroll until a beep could be heard from her comm link.

She pulled her comm link out to hear Cain telling her where he was. Pulling out her holophone, she received the coordinates. Typing them into her gps, she walked to the hotel. Once she go there, she walked inside and was me by a Twi'lek lady at the front desk.

"Hello, I'm Twyla. How may I help you today, young lady?"

she asked Giana.

"I'm looking for Cain Umari?"

The blue Twi'lek ndded and looked through her system until she found his name. Once she found Cain in her system, she nodded and then looked up at Giana once more.

"He's expecting you, I'm assuming?"

"Yes, I'm just visiting him.. he's a close friend."

"Oh nice! He's in room number.. 249 on the second floor. I'll call the room to make sure he knows you're coming up."

"Alright, thanks."

With that, Giana gave a small smile and found an elevator to take her to the second floor. Once she got up there, it took a few seconds to find he room. When she did find the room though, she took a deep breath, sighed and knocked on the door.

"Mister Umari, your guest has arrived."
The voice jumped Cain out of his nap, as the young boy shot up in bed. He took a moment to breath before replying back on the comm.
"Thank you."
Cain rubbed his eyes, and banished his dark thoughts away. Even his dreams were of no comfort to him now. A knock at the door shattered his peace if mind once again, but he knew it was Giana, so his anger was short lived. Slowly, he got out from the bed and opened the door. He wore a weak smile, but even Giana would be able to tell it was fake. His clothing was wrinkled, his eyes had heavy bags under them, and his hair was messy and uncombed.
"Hey Giana...thanks for coming."
He would say, before steping aside and allowing her inside.

Giana waited for a few seconds, anxiousness gathering in her heart. She was excited, nervous and curious to see Cain again. Especially after the events of the past few days. Movement could be heard within the room and soon enough, Cain opened the door and they exchanged small weak smiles. Cain's was fake, but Giana's came from how she was feeling at that moment. Looking at him, he was tired and was definitely not doing well.

"It's no problem.. I have nothing else to do for a little bit anyway..."

she responded, coming in once he stepped aside. Once she walked in all the way and he closed the door, Giana walked over to the small desk and pulled out the wheeled chair before sitting down and looking to Cain with a calm look.

"Are you doing ok?"

she asked calmly in a quieter voice.

Cain shut the door, making a small thud sound as it closed.
"Are you doing ok?"
"As good as I can i guess."
He would say with his back to her. His lightsaber would be visable from where Giana sat, as the metalic cylinder laid discarded on the floor. Cain would move to sit down in the bed.
"Your....probably wondering why I asked you to come here....the truth is....is that I want to leave this planet."
He would finish as his head would drop down to the sheets.
"Theres....so many memories here I just....I want to leave it all behind. Im not a jedi anymore, Im....Im not even an Umari now....I just...I need to start over..."
He would look back up at Giana, his expression was that of pain.
"I need your help to do that..... Can you take me with you?"
He would ask, almost pleading with how hos tone sounded.

Giana nodded, hearing what he said after the door closed. As he came over to sit down on the bed, her eyes wandered to then find the metal cylinder on the tile floor a few feet away from her. The light in that area glinted off the polishing on it, making it look almost new. She would then listen to what Cain was saying and only waited until he was finished to respond.

She listened quietly, her feet pulled up on the chair in criss-cross form. As she listened, she realized that they weren't all that different. After her parents were murdered, she had run away and completely left the planet and left all memories behind. She was looking to the ground now, but looked up to meet the look of anguish on Cain's face. She sighed and responded, giving a calm, comforting look of understanding.

"I completely understand.. I was the exact same way. But yes, you can come with me.. it wouldn't be a bad idea for the company either. I have an extra bunk as well on the ship. Do you need anything from the house to pick up or do you just want to pack up what you have and just come with me?"

she asked. She just wasn't sure if there was anything he needed that was essential.

The tension that had built up around Cain's chest deflated as he heard what Giana said. The former padawan looked down and shook his head.
"No, nothing. I....I can't go back to that place....I don't want to go. I....Im ready to leave whenever you are." There would be a pause before he would look up at Giana.
"Thank you for this....I mean it..."

Giana nodded, understanding once more and stood up walking towards him. She would have been surprised if he had said yes, but she just wanted to make sure. When she got over to the bed, she sat down on the corner and gave the smallest of smiles to him.

"I understand.. we can leave immediately.."

she responded. When he thanked her, she reached over and put a gentle hand on his shoulder.

"You're welcome, Cain. Believe me, I was once in the same exact position.."

Cain nodded wordlessly. There wasn't much he could say at this point. All he had now was whatever credits he didn't spend, and the clothes on his back.
"So....I guess I'll be working for you for a while?"
He would say, almost leaning on a joking tone. Perhaps he was over reacting, maybe running from the ghosts of his past was the cowards way out, but damn he felt good right now; and that was all that mattered. He was making a fresh start, a new him. Maybe even a new name. That was a thought for another time however, as Cain slowly stood up from the bed. "I....guess I'll just follow you."

Giana kept her small smile and gave a slight giggle, hearing what he said. She knew a joke when she heard one and could tell that Cain was at least trying to lighten things up a little bit. After he asked his question, Giana got a certain look in her eye and stood up. She walked over to his lightsaber, picking it up and bringing it to him.

"Sort of.. more like you'll be my partner in crime.. but I think you'll need this.. I don't have extra weapons."

she responded, giving another small smile. She wasn't lying about weapons. All she had were two pistols, two lightsabers and a dagger. Yes, of course she had ship canons but she couldn't use those as a had weapon. When he took the lightsaber and stood up, she smiled and Giana beckoned for him to follow her.

"The ship is this way; Hangar 24, Bay 3."

she responded as she then opened the door and pulled out her holophone looking for the directions and then she would make sure Cain was with her before she head out in the direction of her ship.

Cain would scowl as Giana handed him his lightsaber. To him it was a constant reminder of his failure, of his burden. First chance he would have, he'd swap it out for a blaster and a leather jacket. After all, he wasnt a jedi any longer. And he never would be.
"Alright....lead on...Captian."
Cain would say, smiling slightly.
He was looking forward to getting back into space, and away from the hustle and bustle and the ghosts that haunted him here.

Giana saw his scowl as she handed him his lightsaber and she gave him a look that said that she wasn't going to put up with that attitude. She wasn't a Jedi, but she still had lightsabers. She only hoped that he'd keep it on him just in case. If he got captured without it because he chose to go full on smuggler, it wouldn't be her fault and he wouldn't hear the end of it.

When he called her captain, a small smile came to her face. Captain did have a nice ring to it. She straightened up a little and it wasn't long until they were at the Hangar Bays. She then went along until she found Hanagar 24 and she walked inside, finding bay 3. She usually took her smaller ship, but she finally found one that matched the little dropship that went with it. This had to have been the best ship she had scored yet.

Opening the ramp, she beckoned to Cain to follow her and once they were on, the ramp closed and she lead him to the cockpit. Sitting in the Captain's chair, she hit a few buttons, getting the ship ready to take off and within seconds, the ship lifted and left the planet for good.

Sitting down beside Giana, Cain was rather impressed with her ship. He could get used to this type of living he thought. He likes the ship model, it seemed to be very spacious, and it was prettt clean. Though he was curious as to how Giana afforded this sort of ship. He would watch with a look of both sadness and relief as his home would vanish as a field of stars would take it's place. Never in his life would he think that he'd end up working along side Giana. Especially in this situation.
"So...what happens now?"

Giana got the sense that Cain liked her ship. She couldn't blame him.. plus it was practically a steal... (literally). Giana loved the ship and she planned giving the outside a paint job at some point. She never had the time or energy though. She was always on missions or busy with something. At least now since she had Cain by her side, she wasn't alone.. finally. She had been begging to have someone come with her on missions, but everytime, they wound up screwing something up, killing themselves or getting themselves captured. At least she could put trust in Cain when it came to missions and the ship.

Hearing his question, she shrugged. She honestly had no idea what they would do next..While she thought of something to tell him, she had a quick flashback of her past. When she came back to herself, she thought about the short vision, but pushed it aside, giving Cain a small smile.

"Honestly.. I don't know. I've thought about it.. but I can't think of anything.."

she responded in a soft voice.

Cain nodded and stood up, standing just behind Giana's chair. He found it amusing that after all his sister's protests about him flying, he'd be a copilot on a smuggler ship.
"Well, maybe you could show me my quaters? I mean....if you don't mind captain. Im sure you have captainy stuff to deal with."
Cain would say, as he'd make his way to the doors exit, either he'd wait for Giana to follow or just wonder off to explore the ship himself.

Giana's smile transformed into a smirk as she could sense Cain standing up and standing behind her chair. She had finally reached the area to jump into a hyperspace lane and she then punched in coordinates to jump away from this planet and within seconds, the ship lurched slightly and then submerged into hyperspace. She then looked to Cain and let out a slight giggle with a sigh.

"I could give you a tour? That way you know where everything is. Plus there's really nothing else to do right now anyway."

she responded. There was nothing on her schedule at the moment, so she would be able to give him a tour of the ship without a problem.

Cain would give a hard fought smile at Giana's acceptance. He would to the side as she'd move towards him.
"Captain's first."
He would say, before falling in line behind her. His hands would be placed against the inside of the ship as the sudden lurch nearly knocked him over. He wouldnt mind giving the ship a once over, besides he was going to be living here, might as well know where he was going.
"Thank you for this. I mean it. If there is anyway I can repay you...."

Giana returned the smile with a sarcastic smirk. She stood up, giving a small nod and then walked past him. Once the ship finally went on autopilot and lurched into hyperspace, it was a little more lurchy than usual and Giana grabbed onto a random pole in the ship and gave it a weird look as if she was confused of why it was there It happened from time to time, but she was still trying to work on smoothing out the autopilot.

She would then stand straight again, smoothing her jacket and she started her grand tour. Once she reached the end of the hall, she took a left and she opened the door to her quarters. It was very clean with a freshly made bed and her room completely in order. She then opened a separate door that had an access code and walked in.

"So first, these are my quarters. Through this door here, is the smuggler hold where extra cargo and storage go. The hold is protected."

she handed him a card with the code on it. She then showed him how the door to the Hold worked and then they moved on. She went onto the next door and opened it and let him in first.

"These are your quarters. This is where you will sleep. You are free to paint it or whatever you want to do with it. Make it yours and make yourself feel at home."

she responded with a tiny smile as they continued around the entire ship until they made it back to the cockpit.

"I know it will take a little bit to get used to, so if you have questions or if you're lost, just ask."

she said. Giana wanted him to feel as much at home as he wanted, so she gave him free range of his room, to make sure he would be comfortable.
