The Royalish floor that lay upon Jedi Master Jar Todur's feet as he walked through the Military Headquarters of the Republic Army. Hopefully this would be the day that the Jedi managed to form an alliegance with the Army to ensure a reasonable amount of defense when this war that was brewing. He came to a small desk that held a quite aged man that spoke with complete respect.

"May I help you, sir?"

"I am here to see Supreme Commander Joshua Reytal and Supreme Chancellor Cos Jonathan Dashin"

Todur held out a smmall card that stated that he had an appointement and he waved him through.

"They're located is Supreme Chancellors office. It is located on the highest floor."

Jar walked through to the lift that soon showed the floors as just a line of buttoms, Todur clicked on the one located at the top and he shot up to the highest level within seconds.

A stone marble floor was what he first felt wearing his white boots. He came to a large door, which he pressed a button to inform the Supreme Chancellor of his arrival.

*Just what he needed that day, another Jedi to bother him. After The Great Rim Lines War had ended, he held a great respect for the Jedi Order when they helped him win the Battle of Dxun and win the war after not emerging from a single battle victoriously throughout the entire war. However, once the current war started things began going downhill from there. However, as Chancellor he had to deal with them unless he forced them off Coruscant, and that thought had most certainly crossed his mind more than once. However, he had to do what he had to do.*

"Let him in, Joshua."

Todur watched as the Supreme Commander was ordered to come and open the door for him, it was no lie that the Jedi and the Republic didn't always get along, however they both had one thing in common, try to stop the Sith on their conquest; no-one in either the Jedi or the Republic would argue with that. Jar walked quite slowly into the room after, it must have been Josh, the Supreme Commander that had called him in.

He gave a small glance at the Chancellor and gave him a small smile, with that he then turned to Joish who had just let him in giving him a slight smile also.

He went to introduce himself.*

"Afternoon Chancellor, Supreme Commander, as you may of heard. I am Jedi Master Jar Todur of the Jedi Order. I have come here, beofre you with a proposition if you will."

*These damn Jedi have no respect, he said to himself. He stood up, showing his distaste with the Jedi's behavior. How this one made it as a Jedi Master was beyond him.*

"Know your place, Master Jedi. You either bow or salute when you enter this office or you don't enter at all. Do they not teach diplomacy in that temple of yours?"

*Todur nodded, and had indeed forgotten his place, he knew that he hadn't been greeted with suuch warmth and hadn't expected to either. He gave a bow to the Supreme Chancellor, he was indeed correct in what he had said, and he could tell from being a Master that the Supreme Chancellor had no faith in him at all.*

"I am sorry Sir, I indeed forgot my place. May I take a seat please?"

*Todur looked with warmth, he knew that it was not being reciprocated but still, he felt that it was always good to give than recieve.*

*He turned back to his desk, sitting once more in his chair. He took a quick glance out the window, watching the Coruscant afternoon traffic. How he wished he was still one of those simple people sometimes, but of course in reality his place was behind the desk in this office.

"I don't think I have much of a choice but to say yes, so you might as well. This had better be important, Master Jedi."

*Todur took a seat within one of the chairs that was vacant. He was still giving of a small smile, prickling from the right side of his mouth. His white robes touched the hardness of the seat, how uncomfortable this seat was, not like the Jedi Council ones. Still, that was at the back of his mind, he had more pressing matters to be getting on with.*

"Indeed it is Sir, dark times are heading. I trust you have heard of the amount of planets that are being bombarded by these Sith. I know you have no faith in our order sir. I know that from enetering this building. But surely you must know what the sith are capable of."

*Joshua kept his tongu for long enough..He did not like the jeid..There was no point beating around the bush about it...This jedi would need to pull something amazing of to change joshua's mind about them*

"We know all about the sith jedi....Or you probbaly know them even better...Considering most of them came from your order"

*He turned to his friend, nodding in a way that he would know that insults at the Jedi Order would not do any good here. But, what the Jedi Master had said infuriated him. They knew so little about him, it was almost insulting.*

"Jedi, I won The Great Rim Lines War. Of course I know what they are capable of and of course I know what they are doing now. Get to the point, please."

*Todur nodded, indeed most of them had come from the Jedi Order and had fallen, that was the main problem with the Jedi at the moment; many of the Order were falling and then being poisoned into hating the Order that had cared so much for them. But still, at the moment that was not the point, what was, was the fact that they were bombarding and taking out so many of the planets that had once been peaceful.*

"I respectfully agree, Supreme Commander, they may be falling from our order, we are trying our hardest to ensure the safety of our order. However with the amount that is falling, it is increasingly difficult to stop them bombarding planets and defend our own order at the same time. We try the best for our order, we really do. But going and bombarding planets is taking something to far, they are killing innocent civilians. Our teachings do not agree with that. What I am proposing is an alliance between our order and your grand army, this will help us both out when these dark times come out into the open, before you disagree may we please debate this. Agreed the people that do bombard these planets may be former Jedi's, but doing that, they are making themselves outcasts. We cannot accept them back with open arms, surely you must see they are no longer Jedi, they are most probably a Sith."

*Todur felt he had explained it enough and had proposed what he had come to propose.*

*He would of liked to press on with the arguement but it served no purpose at all,,,He instead wanted to get to the bottom of what the jedi really wanted..The jedi always dealt in half truths*

"So...You wish us to what?...Let the order control some of the fleet?"

*He listened to what the Jedi Master had to say, though it was obvious that the Jedi Council had not yet thought this through. With the disappearance of two Jedi leaders in the past few weeks, they were doing nothing more than running around like gundarks with their heads cut off.*

"You admit that many of them are fallen Jedi, so has it not occured to you that they will undoubtedly be aware of the tactical ability of the Jedi? If we give you access to lead the Grand Army of the Republic, they may know what to expect. Why should we trust that the Jedi will not lead our fleets into destruction?"

*Todur listened to both of the people that were based in the room. He had to admit that he felt a little uncomfortable, they obviously didn't trust him and it wasn't that often that he did feel uncomfortable as it were. But anyway, especially the Supremem Chancellor had some good points that he had made, and Todur would do his best to answer them as truthfully as he could; it would take a lot of convincing to win these two over, it could have been a long day. He turned to the Supreme Commander first.*

"Of course not Supreme Commander, our orders have not always been the best of friends, and I feel that trusting someone with part of your order as been silly, however I feel that working in co-operation would be more appropriate."

*He then turned to the Supreme Chancellor.*

"Of course Sir, we have thought about that, however it is not in the way of a Jedi to 'shut them up.' Of course we feel that if we kept asmall pieces of information to the higer members of our orders then no-one will be any wiser. People will obviously know of our alliance, however not know of our tactics, when suddenly we have to plan at the last minute. It is dangerous, but more intelligent at the same time, don't you agree?"

*He had answered in complete truths, and it was visible within his facial expression. He knew that the Chancellor and Commander may be able to see the truth within.*

*He shook his head, as the Jedi obviously was not aware of the true meaning of tactics. He stood up, and leaned up against the wall next to the Supreme Commander.*

"Your tactics have not changed since The Great Hyperspace War, and you have given no indication that they will. I don't see how I could possible approve of this, and I'm sure Joshua agrees with me."

"I know you will not agree sir with due respect, however if you put forth your ideas, we can discuss it. If we do ever agree on creating on an alliance we will obviously need to trust each other. So if you can explain what you mean by your tactics then we can discuss it in a more detailed manner."

*Todur sat with his arm scratching his neck looking at the Supreme Chancellor, he looked very calm, he wanted this to work more than anything.*

"Sir, the Jedi are more trusting than you think, that is why we have lost many of our own to the Sith, however if we arranged something that would work on both accounts then of course we would probably not change our ways, however if you do give us this one chance, we will be able to come to some sort of arrangement on these 'tactics'.

*Joshua nodded at his friend then turned to the jedi with a steely gaze*

"I do Cos....The only time the jedi were able to win a war by themselves was the mandalorian wars...And it was reven who did that..And the jedi civil war....If reven had stayed as a sith the republic would be dead....the jedi are to unpredictable to trust...We trusted you once in the mandalorian wars and it nearly cost us everything...We can defeat the sith alone I believe,,,,And the jedi though they may help us win a few battles may cost us the war"

"You don't know what tactics are?"

*He rolled his eyes as he stepped back towards his desk, sitting down. He let out a sigh, as this would be harder than he thought.*

"I mean no offense, Master Jedi, but perhaps you are not capable enough to attempt to convnice me of this alliance. Another Jedi Master liason may help me change my mind easier. As of now, if you don't even know what a tactic is, then you have no further business discussing military alliances."

*Todur stayed very calm, even though he had been perhaps misunderstood, he had implied something different and it had been taken the wrong way, it was a common mistake. Todur was not the best with words, his actions more of made him a Jedi. He looked to the Supreme Chancellor.*

"I believe you have misunderstood me Sir. I of course know what a tactic is, I meant we could discuss your way of tactics. Obviously our tactics in war, are most probably different to yours. I may have worded my sentence wrong, I apologise. As a military force, your tactics maay be more of fighting, ours are using more of the Force to aid us. I simply meant we could discuss the tactics that you use in war, and we could explain ours."
